"Possibly." she turned to another dead spot, this one on the other side. there was a person beyond it, and space, if he can sense that. She gripped a pretty pink flower and turned it, pushing the door that looked like more of the vine covered hall open.
The room inside was huge. There was a soft blue silver carpet. the walls were impossible to see again, but this time not because of life. Because of book cases, and a single window. There was a huge Entertainment center in cherry wood all closed up, and dark cherry wood bookcases took up every other available spot of wall space, including over the bay window with it's large comfortable looking window seat. It shone out onto a garden separated from an over grown lawn by a small blue fence. The ceiling was a soft silver, and light emanated from the corners. Filling the large room was a grand staircase up, with a door set into the side of it, and one of every kind of seat he could imagine. A small stone stool, a metal stool, a grass covered protrusion up from the floor like it grew there. a blue silver sofa, a blue silver love seat, a blue silver (sensing a theme here?) recliner, a desk chair, a dining room chair, a high backed throne, a beanbag chair. The list seemed endless. Sitting in a high backed blue silver chair was... on first glance it seemed like the girl who had just left was sitting before them,. The second glance showed the differences. This girl was completely flat chested, downright skinny even. There were small threads of silver in her blue hair. She was wearing a pretty shirt made of some sort of leather and pants of some sort of swede, both in blue and silver, and a large pair of mirrored sunglasses, with bangs falling over them lightly. She was also a few shades paler. The whole thing was an odd combination. And she radiated life and energy. Where Tatiana and Pyre were like suns in the strength of their magic, hers felt more like a small cozy fire in a fire place. She had magic, and it seemed like a decent amount, but a river to the sea of those he had already met. Incidentally, snake and Rattle had VERY little, and the girl who had given him his visa was somewhere between the one in the chair, and Tatiana. "Unity," she said speaking softly, giving them a small nod. "Welcome to my home."
"So formal," Tatiana teased.
"He is a guest, and more used to formality then we," she replied.

Aedrus bowed from the waist. "Unity."

She smiled warmly. "I knew that you were coming, and that it would be best if we were more or less alone, so I arranged that, but I do not know the nature of your concern."
"Translation," Tatiana said, flopping down onto the stone made throne. How one could flop onto that much hard rock was anyones guess, but she did it. draped over the arm rests. "I need to build a recliner into this thing," she mumbled. "I'm getting old." She grinned. "But not as old as Ashley. No one's older then Ashely, she watched dirt being born."
Amiie chuckled lightly and waved a hand to him. "Feel free to take a seat, this could take a while."

Aedrus gracefully tucked himself into a mossy chair. "As old as the dirt? I have met many aged and wizend ones, though none of them are as old as the dirt." He smiled, a small hint of amusement in his eyes.

Amiie chuckled softly. "It is an old family Joke. We have met those older then Ashely, including her parents and her aunt, and yet, no one quite counts them."
"And Wizened is hardly what I'd call her," Tatiana said, chuckling.
"And none of that is the point behind this visit. What is it that I can clarify for you today?"

"Miss Titania believes that you will be of some help to my lifemate and I. Though I do not understand how, I am willing to do anything to make Pyre's life easier, including walking into the sun."

"And that is why I brought him, ma," Tatiana said, closing her eyes. "Terminology. Some how I don't think his definition of life mate and ours will necessarily match."
Amiie nodded, rubbing the bridge of her nose under the glasses. "And the distinctions could be deadly. Alright then," she turned to face him again. "When you say life mate, what exactly do you mean?"

"I use the term Lifemate to indicate the other half of my soul. The light that I need to survive."

"So not life mate as we mean it," Amiie said, nodding. "The other half of your soul, is that literal or figurative?"

"Literal. I need her light to suppress my dark. To keep me from turning into the undead. Just as she will need me if she wishes to maintain a life of fullness and happiness."

She would need to be with me at all times. We would need to share our minds, blood, and bodies often. I can do no other than to see to her safety, health, and happiness. She would never be alone nor need worry for her safety."

"It is something that has been for all of time. There is only one lifemate for each Carpathian male. We must search for our light before the darkness consumes us. Some are not so fortunate as I am to have found Pyre."
