Miles stomped out of the bakery, this time with a bandaid and the keys. He rubbed his head and locked the door behind his sister. "There, are you happy now?" He grumbled at Marie.
"Mm hmm, I think we can go for a walk now." Marie replied, deliberately ignoring the tone in her brother's voice. She grabbed Miles' sleeve and pushed her walking stick in front of her in a semicircle. "Slow down, please, I can't walk as fast as you," She muttered to her brother right as her stick hit a lady's shoe.
"I'm sorry ma'm, you'll have to forgive my sister," Miles said, feigning politeness for a moment. "She's an idi-" He stopped himself before she whacked him again.

"Hello there." Somni managed his most endearing smile. "Lovely day isn't it?" he pulled Ollie closer to his side. "My girlfriend and I were out for a walk and I just happened to see you both. Company is always appreciated." he exclaimed, prodding for Ollie's reaction.

Marie stared at Somni's shoulder. "That sounds nice," She replied with a smile, but tugged on her brother's sleeve for the approval.
"Hmm, wha- Oh! Yeah sure, why not," Miles stammered, coming out of a daze. A passing butterfly had caught his attention by landing on Marie's head. "Marie, you have a... um... thing on your head," He began quietly.
"A what now?" She turned to face his ear, frowning slightly.

"A butterfly on my head? Oh my." Marie gasped and calmly swatted at her head. The butterfly landed on Miles' head.
"Ah, now look what you've done! It's on my head now," Miles said, lifting his finger up to his head. He gently wedged his finger underneath it, then removed it from his head. He carefully placed it on Ollie's shoulder. "There, much better place." Miles grinned triumphantly.

Damian barked remaining in his wolf form. "Yes, they may not approve of that. I hope though that our meeting will go well!" Damian barked.

Julian traversed the forest with ease, sure that they would reach their destination quickly. Truly enough, the vague stench of mingled vampire and lycan blood hung in the air. Off in the distance, a clutter of tents could be seen, various wolves fraternizing among them with one another. "Looks like we're close." Julian said narrowing his eyes. "This is good, seeing as night will fall soon."
"Oh miss, why swat at a butterfly?" Somni frowned "It is very becoming in that dark hair of yours." he leaned down to stare at the fragile insect on Ollie's shoulder. "Anyway, should we continue walking? Sunset is coming. Maybe a nice cafe..." his voice trailed off as he turned to walk.

A very large gruff man stood in the center of the encampment aiding the severely wounded and injured. He briefly turns to see the visitors. "I see we have guests today, well don't just stand there gawking help me with the survivors." He said bluntly having little inclination for plight conversation.

Damian nodded. "You see what I mean though. They were hit hard." Damian bounded forward to assist the wolf with the wounded. "How long ago was this fight?" Damian asked the wolf who had called to him.
Hannah stayed very close to her brother. She wasn't fond of strangers, not in the least. She shyly grabbed the scruff of another wolf, looking at Damian she transferred a question.
"Where do you want them?" Damian asked the wolf in charge.

Miles piped up, "We own a bakery, if you two like bread and stuff." He snatched the keys out his pocket and started to spin them around on his finger.
"It was distracting Miles," Marie smiled, but it did not reach her eyes. "What's so horrible about sunset?" She asked innocently.

Julian remained indifferent to the large wolf's blunt nature. He joined Hannah and grabbed the scruff of a fallen Lycan's neck.
Somni huffed a bit and crossed his arms. "There is nothing wrong with the sunset. It is just, things in the city have been a bit...bad?" he shot Ollie a glance, making it clear he was not sure what to say. "As long as you're offering, we could go inside your bakery to sit, and I'll explain more. If you're willing to hear, that is." he grinned.

Marie raised an eyebrow slightly. Her smile curled up a bit more with it, but still did not reach her eyes. "Interesting. I'd love to hear your story." She replied to Somni's suggestion.
Miles rolled his eyes, "As long as you two aren't from the mafia, you can come in." He walked back to the bakery and unlocked the door, letting his sister go in first. He turned to face Somni and Ollie, "Come on now, you'll let all the hot air out."

"Hot air?" Somni squinted his eyes. "Sounds...terrible." He placed an arm on the small of Ollie's back to gently push her forward. As expected, the bakery air had a balmy feel, yet pleasant smell. "So you two run this place alone?"
