henrytownshend4235 MeredithAngeline I'm MeredithAngeline and huge fan of Silent Hill. I'm not really sure how I started on it, but the first game I had was SH3 and I played that game, beating it countless times! It's by far my favorite, altho that part in the end when she yaks up that...things and then Claudia or whoever, eats it. GAG! But yes, I loved the carousel part and all the parks in that amusement park. After 3, I got 1, 4 and then 1. I havent played the first one as much. Shattered Memories was probably my least favorite, because I rather fight than run away, pretty much non stop, altho I did enjoy the puzzles and...sessions I had in that game. I remember being at Six Flags one year, before the release of Homecoming, and CRAVING it. I said I want I want I want it! Finally got it, and it's a close 2nd favorite. I only played Origins once because I rented, so I dont own it, but I made sure to beat it once. I did like it, I enjoyed throwing things around. I heard you can do the same in the newest, Downpour. Buy me Downpour! It is a fine pleasure to welcome you to our little patch of Silent Hill heaven 3nodding I honestly think you started with some fine materials. I prefer it when people get into Silent Hill through the original 4 games, but overall I just love seeing people in general coming to this wonderful series. I hope you have a lot of fun here Meredith, and if you have any questions feel free to post them here on the forums, or shoot any of the crew members a private message. Except for the Captain, he is currently, and has been for some time, occupied with matters in real life. And I'd like to say that probably Silent Hill 3 is my expertise, since I've played it so many times. I hadn't beaten it on hard, mainly because the puzzles involve complex math and I'm no good at that lol. I've done the others though.

I have beaten it several times now, on every difficulty scanning it many times for new pieces of information I might have missed or anything else that could catch my eye for theories or educational purposes..... it may be time for me to play through again....

I'm mo ii yo. I actually joined this guild before, but I got hacked on that account I joined with, so I made this one instead.
I've been posting already, so I thought I'd come and do this. SH2 is my Silent Hill strong area, and the newer Silent Hills like Downpour and Homecoming are weaknesses, as I've never played them due to the fact I don't own those gen consoles. The nurses are both my favorite and worst monsters. I simply love the design of them, even though they're hella creepy. They make me need a change of pants. But the rush that comes with killing them is pretty worth it.
I also love horror/survival games in general.

AngelNinja7 Ok. Heh I posted in the entry that said "welcome" and just saw this one, meh. This is my entry there. "Thanks for the invite, this place sounds cool. I'm not on much, but I'll try to visit as much as possible. I watched the movie and loved it, and I know that they changed some things and kind of combined 3 or 4 of the games for the movie. I've recently got into horror games and trying to find/buy them so unfortunately I don't have any silent hill games yet...I hope to get em though, heh. They sound awesome. So please don't get mad if I have no clue about storylines lol. I know more about the silent hill (first) than any others so any help is appreciated. Well I've blabbed enough. See everyone around! " I guess I'll add a couple things too. I'm 22, but people normally can't tell since I'm so dang random, lol. I've noticed there's an rp in the guild, but I doubt I know enough to survive it, lol. It seems cool though so if there's any tips feel free to share. I haven't actually done any rping online really, so I'm kinda out of my element. Oh and if I slip into..er..shortening my words or whatever..like people-ppl please forgive me since I've been playing an online game a lot lately, lol. Well I guess that's it for now since I can't think of anything else, and I've already talked a lot, lol. Ok it took me forever to find this...sorry i haven't been on in like 4 yrs... I'm quoting mehself so I can update things. I've beaten 2, 3 (HD Collection), Homecoming (oh so annoying glitch near the end...), and recently Downpour. Can't find 1 for a reasonable enough price T.T Have Shattered Memories, 4: The Room, and Origins. But moved and can't find everything I need to play yet T.T Currently playing Downpour on hard and dying often by everything...apparently I suck at knowing when to block but I am plodding through.. Um. That's it I think. I also really wanna get Revelations but just spent a buncha money to get Downpour, Origins and other stuff...

I'm Shilo~
I have to say my Silent Hill addiction started when I was in middle school I believed. My first game was Silent Hill 2. I borrowed it from a fan and ever since it's been a huge part of my life.
My favorite games, in order:
Silent Hill: The Room, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill: Homecoming.
I love all of them of course, but agh those three have my heart. And I have to say Henry is my favorite protagonist. Agh he's so cute~
I currently even have a large paper replica of the hole in Henry's bathroom up on my bedroom wall, and I'm hoping to finish a lantern I'm making for myself of silent hill~
Monster-wise, my loves are Pyramid Head and Valtiel. <3
Overall, Silent Hill is a wonderful series full of so much meaning. it's more than a horror game. It's... just amazing.
Now about ME personally, I'm 22, I'm a Ftm transgender and prefer to be called male. I love to play WoW, I have 4 guinea pigs that I share with my best friend, a tarantula, and some fish~

I did enjoy Homecoming but I'm afraid Downpour has it's place on my list sweatdrop So allow me to ask, did your friend want you to play SH2 because they wanted to scare you or did you personally want to play it? See, my first encounter EVER with Silent Hill was on a demo disc for PS2 (because... you know.... back when demo discs seemed to exist alot) and it was for SH4. Scared the living hell right out of me and my best bud at the time.

And thank you for accepting my invite so quickly! If you love to do RP, would you perhaps be interested in organizing your own? We have our own RP subforum, and I can broadcast your RP idea if you were to make one. If not, me and another crew member have been brewing some ideas for RP (or will be very soon blaugh ) And that's awesome, because I too began my SH addiction 7 years ago at the age of 14. Although, I'm sure if anything else about us as fans is similar then you'd agree looking back 7 years now you'd never have known you were about to embark on a scary, unique, memorable, and awesome journey through many games. Personally, I wish I would have known the series the day the first game released.... to have been part of experiencing those thrills firsthand with so many others...

Oh well neat! :"DDD //flattered to be new favorite person ever I like downpour, in fact I like them all, but those are my top three. Downpour has likeable characters, I adore Murphy, but it was lacking in the FEEL of Silent Hill. I mean yes it's got it's moments of jump scares, but due to a new team taking over and Daniel directing the music now, the feel wasn't the same. I kind of felt like Downpour is in it's own little field of horror that I really do like. Akira forever will have my heart. I have SO MUCH Akira on my itunes. xD I actually asked, I had heard a lot about it and wanted to try~ SH4 I got for christmas, along with 2 and 3, so that was the first time I had heard or played it and I just LOVE how it was just this... it was silent hill but played in a new way. I loved that. it had the same feelings, the same sounds and designs, but a different dynamic.

I too have a whole CD dedicated to Akira in my car (and it's just about been played into useless lol). But I do like Daniel's music as well, and I made a CD of some of his stuff I liked as well. I actually felt like Downpour was a step in the right direction, as it returns you to being someone fighting internal demons through horrifying environments (and you're right, definitely plenty of jumpscares!) and imo, every SH title worthy of having such a title should truly have easter eggs (and I was SUPER excited crawling into room 302 in Downpour, as I am sure you were as well). But I have played Homecoming so much I just could go on forever about it too. My favorite villain in Homecoming was Scarlet. Her monster was so.... wicked. And her theme song was really nice sounding. And while most fans agree that Pyramid Head was only put in it as fan fodder, anyone with true knowledge of Pyramid head's function knows that he appeared and did exactly as he was meant to... Punish Alex's father.
