Background/Personality: Aranea is a typical Kalona; vicious and predatory. However she only recently came to know exactly what she was, as her upbringing and birth weren't exactly conventional. Her basket was abandoned near the Kawani Village, and was looked after by Kaliska, but only from a distance as she could sense that there was far worse in there than Izusa had been.
Aranea has no clue who her parents are, or that she has two siblings that have been equally scattered about. She only knows what she can do, and what she likes to do - hunt & kill. She is fairly small, and is light on her hooves. She likes to stalk her prey, playing with it before killing.
She can be overally confident, and is drawn to others like herself, especially powerful males. She is a little bit black-widowish, wanting to propagate with the strongest of the strong Kalonas, and wanting not much else from them.

Aranea had a fling with Itzal (a kalona) which resulted in two baskets.

Spinneret is Aranea's faithful little companion. The mouse is deceptively cute, being an opportunistic scavenger of fruits in the Kawani Village, and able to approach the most timid of Soquilis in order that Aranea can get close to them.
She doesn't care that she is misleading them into danger, as she knows that she has all the protection she needs from Aranea.

Aranea was a gifted basket from Epine de Rose, from a breeding which was originally meant to be a normal one with two parents. Due to circumstances it ended up being a breeding between Venom & an unknown mare.
Due to this, Aranea knows none of her siblings nor her father.
