PostPosted: Thu Apr 24, 2008 4:32 pm

((Oh come ON now, break it up!

Ok, ewock and xMaddiox IMHO, you are BOTH in the wrong here, and here's why (and note I'm no RP expert; just stating my opinion on this mess. I'll color code it to to make it easier to read):

ewock: Normally, I could be a bit more understanding if this was the first RP you gave up on and left. But when you didn't get your way in the Angel/Demon one (forgot the name at the moment; sorry!), you left then too, not even making two pages. All you had to do was twist yours up a bit; no harm done.

Here's the deal; I think you need to realize that whether good or not, xMaddiox is the leader of this thread (Is Ace his partner? That's confusing me, so I dunno on that). Hence why in most RP rules it says "I am ruler/God/controller of this thread"; it means that it's better to try and go with the flow of the ones here. You agree to the terms of this when you send that profile. If you give up that easy, then you won't make it through a single RP without quitting over one thing or another.

xMaddoix: OK, I'm sorry to say, but ewock DOES have a point on the training system abuse. You keep bending the rules to you and Ace's favor, such as:

-using more than one person in a post to make it count, yet you won't let Morphia and Kyler use theirs as a group. You need to be clear or it leads to this confusing mess, and makes you look really bad.

-xMaddoix, PLEASE. STOP. INSTIGATING! Insulting characters IRL and stuff is not a thing a leader should do, unless in a actual plot discussion. Such as "wouldn't be awful if *suchandsuch* went out of charcter and *action here*. But you just plain insulted him, and I think that's what started the mess in the first place.

-The way he trains as noted in ewocks' example of your post shows that you're being VERY unrealistic, more than the rest of us. While it IS a superpower school, if I remember correctly, your character has none? He can't lift weights w/o break for so long, ESPECIALLY IF HE HAS NO POWERS!

So in short: if you're gonna lead, stick to your own rules best you can. I'm not saying you have the same autority as a joiner only, but the more you at least did MOST of your posts in rules' favor, we'd all be more trusting.

Sorry Minron; my next post will be RP-ish, or this will be a huge post! xd ))

((I only got two training psots, I'm not on as often as everyone else so its harder for me.))

Ningen didn't wait for her to enter, he entered first by jumping over her and landing at the entrance of the woods. He tohught since they were outhere, why not help hone their skills instead of slacking off?

"Let us see who can catch the most! They're is no sure winner of course, this is for training purposes!"

Training Post

Ningen's organic body was getting more use to exiting and reentering his robotic body. This trait would come in handy in later battles in order to dodge attacks Ningen's organic body could take while his robotic one could easily with stand. The front of the chassis opened and in a blur of brown and tan colors, Ningen was within the forest scenery catching insect upon insect. his first catch was a butterfly, a beeutiful red one at that; They tasted the best. Ningen's lightning like speed only inhanced his ability to catch these small creatures. He could only carry so many at a time though, often returning to his robotic body to place more in the container. One of the creatures caught his eye, he barely able to see it at all. It was a insect that seem to look like a piece of the tree. It was long and a light shade of tan to suit the tree's colors. Ningen caught it immediantly, soon adding to his collection. Another insect caught his eye, it was large and green and seemed to have two scythe's for arms. Another was caught by Ningen's quick hands and placed in the container. Ningen was proud of his catches, but he hadn't caught an arachnid yet, a big juicy spider was all he wanted. Unfortunatly, he couldn't find a single one within the forest.

((I'm mostly on, but usually multitasking. xd ))

Kimberly grinned. "Sounds like fun. You're on!" she answered with a grin, then pulled a small glass box and a net out of her bag. She probably wouldn't need it; birds could catch stuff pretty well on their own, and so could she.

Training Post

Kim took off her shoes and spread out her wings, and now a red bird tail could be shown from underneath the dress. She then let her talons show; hence why she removed her shoes first. She sat her contianer on the ground next to Ningen's; it's only fair to do so! She a deep breath of preparation, and shot into the air. The birdgirl began swerving through the trees, first catching a flying beetle midair by calmly surrounding it with a open hand, then closed it in a way that didn't squish the bug. Going up suddenly, she barely missed a brach and headed up towards a couple butterflies, repeating the careful process by adding them in the same hand. Only a occasional branch would brush against her as she flew about near Ningen. One of the reasons she changed clothes........was not to flash poor Ningen, for she was wearing a pair of shorts underneath the dress. She was not THAT open to that kind of cheapshot trickery such as using the fact she was female against a male. Besides; this was fun as well as helpful, for she was learning to dodge more efficiently and to see small creatures in a busy background.

Now having five bugs in her hand after another swoop, she decided to fly back down to the box, and sat her bugs in the container. Being a bird and all, she'd normally try one; but she could hear them speak, so she planned to release her batch before leaving. She turned back around and shot back into the hair, swerving trees as she attempted to catch a mulitcolored butterfly, which then dove within trees with flowers of the same color. Sighing, she followed it, wanting now to catch the bug; it was now teasing her.

"Nya nya nya nya nya nya! Can't catch me, mutant!" it mocked, and it was slighty irritating to Kim. Hence why she was gonna get it, and may eat it for spite....hehe.

((It is fine Sora, I got two characters so I can RP even when you're not online. I'm just gonig to stay out of the whole Training Post disscussion, I don't like arguing at all.))

A tall cloaked man walked forward in the halls, coming from a dorm room that smelled of a rain forest for some odd reason. This was Koujou, a plant like human that has the ability to create and control plants. His room was basically a mini-rain forest, made by himself. Only his face was visible, he had light green eyes and a green comlection on his face. His loose hair was green and covered his forhead. Koujou didn't walk like a regular man, he seemed to glide along the floor under his robe. In reality, he had multiple vines walking for him that made it seem he was just floating along the halls to his destination. Koujou was heading towards the sports field, it had plenty of sun for him to help his Photosynthesis. First he needed to intake some carbondioxide in order to make sugars. Unlike regular humans, Koujou did the opposite; Instead of breathing in oxygen and exhaling carbondioxide, he did what plants did and produced oxygen. Being in a building full of breathing humans, all he needed was sun light to be kept well fed. He could eat like regular humans to also feed his hunger, but never did he eat vegetables or other vegetations. Koujou stepped into the open sun of the field and basked in its warmth as it rained from the sky. He implanted his roots or feet into the ground and started to relax as he focused on Photosynthesis.

Ningen clapped for Kimberly as she did her take. He believed she caught more, since ahe was more adaptive to Earth's atmosphere then he was. Ningen was already digging into his share of bugs, biting off the head of the stick bug he had caught earlier, sucking it dry of fluids using his specially designed tongue. She could keep her share if she wanted, he didnt need to eat too many, Ningen took a long time to digest food.

"Impressive, lets see what you caught."

((Ok it's not abuse. It's not like we are not training in it. We dodn't say she couldn't have her posts. ALL she has to do is put training post in bold letters on them, Everyone else does the same. His insults are in a joking matter. If you can't take a joke you don't belong on the internet.

You guys do have the right to make and NPC for your use only, However that NPC can't take place in the story line, Just used to role playing and training.))

((@Ace: Then you need to make these rules clear on the front page; otherwise you're leaving your players in the dark on a bad issue.

@xMaddiox: Even with a emotioncon, it's still the internet, so no one can really tell since no voice can be heard and therefore no tone can be sure. Either way, it's obvious that he took it as an insult, so that point is void.

@Minron: same here; I'm done giving opinons now. I came here to RP! xd ))

As Kimberly was coming down, the butterfly finally caught and now cursing her out, she at first heard applause coming from the robot; she must have done well. However, once she could see the robot, she felt her stomach pain in a strange guilt that she felt very often; she could hear the cries of protest as the bugs were being eaten by Ningen. Now, while she should be used to this by now (since many like to squish bugs just because they're there, when they haven't done any harm), once in awhile it panged her deep, the one time she wished not to hear their cries of having families and the baby ones crying for mommy and daddy. At school, they would still be lying there dying slowly, murmuring last words that would normally bring the younger girl to tears (since this was mainly a middle school issue that was too big of hint to think she was nuts).

She forced herself not to cringe in discomfort as she landed and did a bow; she was not going to eat her share, even though as a bird they'd taste pretty good.

But she shoved these thoughts aside; if she kept her share of the bugs, she would let them go. As she picked up her container and placed the bugs within it, they all looked at her with such pitiful eyes. But they were eyes only she could see. There were a few older ones, but mainly children and a few mothers. She gave them a reassuring smile, which made them realize there was hope, for she could understand them. There were more now, since this was after a few rounds.

"Let's see....I see two butterflies, a beetle, a couple ladybugs, an-hold still, will ya?-ol' spider, four grasshoppers-these things move quickly-aaand a another one I'm not too familiar with. What are you?" she half-asked the bug, for it was strange in color and shape; she'd never seen it before...

((Let's just forget the whole thing. Sorry guys.))

Onett exited the training area and began to walk to the track in the back of Genesis Academy. He was hoping that Exo would be there.

He wasn't.

Onett began to walk back into the school. He heard a loud thud and turned around. Two indistinct figures could be seen in a grassy area on the edge of the campus. One figure was noticably larger than the other. Onett chuckled and said, "Ningen..."

He then continued to walk towards the school.

"You must be the fleshling with no powers...Onett I believe and the metaling is the Ningen you speak of?"

Koujou smiled as his roots unconnected and reconnected tothe ground with each step of his individual vine. This fleshling intrigued him, such skills for an ordinary fleshling. With powers, he could be much more then the other fleshies.

"I'm sorry for interupting your stroll, but my friends here told me of you."

He was refering tothe grass, it seemed to sway at his command by the mere movement of his hands. Onett seemed to be a person seeking greater power, something Koujou found as a trait within himself. He, unlike Ningen, was aiming to become the last Legend. Onett was in his way to the rank, but it didn't mean they couldn't be friends or knock someone else off their pedstal so they could both be powerful. Koujou knew it wouldn't be soon, he needed training first.

Ningen was about to grab another insect from his container, when he noticed how Kimberly treated hers. In his head, he was cursing himself for what thoughts pondered his mind. One side wanted to acknowledge kindness and release these creatures he had required. The other told himthey were inferior creatures only ment for food. Ningen realized he didn't need to eat them, the academy provided more then enough food for his small stomach.

"Alright, you win..."

Ningen reluctantly opened the container and then leaving it be for the insects to escape, not wanting to seem crule to Kimberly. Ningen would have tosettle for vegetables to be a regular part of his diet, but not meat; He wasn't getting fined fo eating it.

Onett smiled at Koujou. "Yep, I'm Onett!" he said to the stranger. "Any friend of Ningen is a friend of mine."

Onett noticed Koujou examining him strangly. But, he figured if he's a close friend on Ningen, he has to be a little weird.

Onett paid no attention to the strange stares. "Uh....I didn't catch your name, dude....."

Kimberly was surprised when he let the remaining go. Oh dear, she had been too obvious. She smiled; if only the robot could understand what the joyful bugs were saying.

"Thank you so much, Mista!"
"Yay! We're free!"
"WOOT! TOLD you he'd only eat a few!"
"I wanna go home now!"
"Yay! We're still missing four of them though...."
"Relax, two of them were the Bob twins; they've been asking for it, those pesky flies! It's a shame to have lost Old Gilbert and Susan, but they've lived their lives full anyways. Could've been worse, IMO."
"IMO? What's that, some funny language? You twit, I told you to stop staring at the Peterson's family's emails! You've gonna get a newspaper to be your death if you keep it up!"
"Relax, darling dear. I've already escaped death now, right?"

Kim turned to Ningen, and sighed while still smiling. "Sorry if I killed your appetite. It's just........the only downside to hearing animals is when you hear their pain. I don't like going to animal cruelty centers, or even just watching someone squish a bug.

It was mainly a middle school class one day that kinda brought it in perspective; some kid in front of meslapped an annoying fly onto into the air, it's wings fell off and it was half dead, but still speaking. It landed on my desk, and started talking about how he'd miss his kids...that he was just trying to get home a-after not seeing them in months.... *sniff* h-he'd even b-brought them some toys that bugs use, little leaf dolls or something. T-they were little woven leaves; they even had faces! He h-had two daughters. Oh look at me, I'm a mess! Just ingore me if you want."

She tried to recompose herself; it was by far her worst memory in her entire life.

The wingless bug had sat the leaves on the ground and asked her to give them to his daughters, with the one arm that wasn't goo yet. Kim had already started crying at this point, which made the bug realize he could be heard. His last words were: "Well, looks like I was blessed by Mother Nature; someone's actually hearing my......last.....wish......tell them I love them."

Naturally, the class thought she'd lost her cookies, and the teacher took her to a counsler. Thankfully, the counsler knew of her powers and was very understanding. They were able to use another believeable excuse to explain her breakdown. As for the family of ladybugs, she was able to ask about and find the tree which they lived. Very understanding creatures; but the mother was mad cause she thought she had killed him at first, so it took a witness of a fly outside the class window to prove the bug wrong. The father's gift was accepted with much thanks, and the wife had tried to reassure Kim, who was still tearful and filled with a helpless guilt. "Besides, dearie, many never know what happens to others, since those rotten kids usually throw the bug away into some bin. At least I know he's in heaven, and I thank you for hearing him out. It must be hard sometimes, being able to hear us. But I can assure you it's much appreciated by us all. You've got heart, kid, and I respect that."

As she was recomposing, she could hear a pitited collective "awww" from the bugs in the container; so she did talk to them.

"I don't know the metaling, just his name and yours. I'am Koujou, a student like yourself."

Koujou glided around Onett, his vines making a sickling sucking sound as thye moved to allow him to ponder around Onett. Koujou was studing Onett, to see how he could properly arrange to use his talents to his whim. Koujou didn't mean his intentions in a rude way, but he was blunt about it.

"Yes, you will do to be my brother in arms. You see, I haven't a allie to aid my conflicts in team tournements. I would be honored to have your skill on my team when the tounrements are here, unless you have an allie yourself.

Ningen could see why she was so adapt at keeping the insects alive, their intelligences prevented violent actions towards them. It would be useful to call out infesations within your home, you could live in perfect harmony with nature. She was indeed years above in evolution compared to the other apes of Earth, she could live with nature and not just destroy it like what humans have already did to most of the planet.

"You are indeed a superior human Kimberlly, if only all of humanity had your gift."

Kimberly was surprised that he wasn't backing away from her and calling her insane beyond all reason, like most students did. Then again, she was at a superpower school now, so things were a bit more understanable here, as if they spoke the same language. He in fact took this in a different view and was actually complementing her greatly.

"Heh, thanks, I-I appreciate that. Seriously, you have no idea. Sorry; I just didn't like that particular memory." she laughed a bit as she took a tissue and wiped her eyes and face. The bugs in the container were still staring at her, mainly just watching and not screaming for mercy. Because now they had an idea on who she was.

Hearing them mutter, Kim turned and saw them still in there. She smiled, a rare smile, and opened the container and speaking in their language. "Go on then, it's getting late for lunch, so I suggest you hurry!"

In their joy, they lingered only for a moment to thank the girl, then they all flew off. She watched them as she spoke. "Well, it's not much of a gift. Well, I mean, it is for me, but I'm not sure how the rest of the world would take to living with bugs and beetles. They think the moment it gets an inch near you it's gonna bite you. They only bite cause they're 'bugged' first, as bad of a pun as that is." she pointed out with a giggle.

"You see, Koujou...I'm not good in team situations. And.....I just can't accept your offer until I see you in battle," Onett started. He grabbed his bracelets, which were attached to a chain connected to his left pant leg and put them on his wrists.

"So........show me what you can do!" Onett said with smile. He then went into his battle stance and awaited Koujou's response.

Training Post

"Very well Onett, it seems logical."

Koujou's sleeves went down as he flicked his arms forward, revealing his vine like hands. Instead of actaul hands, it was a twisted assortment of five vines shaped at the end like a disfigured hand. The vines molded together, forming one blade at eahc hand. These weren't extremely shapr, but they were sharp enough to leave a modest wound with any cut.

"I want to test your skills as well, fisrt in armed combat."

Koujou glided one side to the other in a hypnotic motion, this was his Dnace of the Blades fighting style, his dance gonig along side his combat tactics. Koujou stopped suddenly and seemed to switch motions as his body started to spin rapidly towards Onett making a wind cutting sound as they spun. His blades at his side making it a spinning blade attack towards Onett. His blades were dull at the moment, of course Onett could block his fully sharpened blades, but jsut in case a fluke reared that ended with is simple attack hitting Onett, the damage would be minor. He didn't aim to kill, only in tournements does his aim to mortally wound his opponent. this was one of Koujou's basic defensive attacks, causing opponents to go back from the barrage of blade swings from his spinning. Koujou kept decreasing the distance from himself and Onett as he spun.

Ningen laughed along with her, those insects seemed to have more meaning now thanks to her. Thoguh this would later his diet and the way he treated lesser things from now on or at least for a long time.

"Let us return, I'am tempted to try the mashed potatos at the cafeteria."

Ningen hopped back into his robotic form, the hatch quickly closing behind him and the syncing already active between Ningen and T13. The optics changed from purple to orange, an common trait that proved who was in current control over the robotic body: T13 or Ningen.
