((@Science- You guys can be going ahead into the center if you want...))
Alayah knew what was coming, and didn't try to resist. She felt the whisps of the black flame penetrating through her soul.
"You're wrong about one thing though... the blue flame may not be able to save my life... but... it will... save... the... others..." she said as her crackling voice uttered the words that grew fainter and fainter.
She felt the piercing sting of the black flame pierce her wrists and bind them behind her back. Then the snakelike shape of the black flame slithered up and wound itself around her neck. Alayah gave up on breathing, for the black flame had already penetrated her lungs like a ring of poison tipped thorns. And the sensation wrapped itself around her heart and engulfed the rest of her body.
And as her body appeared to vanish against the darkness, Alayah gathered up all her strength inside of her, and every ounce of the Blue Flame that was left, and let it go. Without moving, she sent a small amount of energy and spirit outward...
And a boy felt it. He was a small boy about the age of 12, with auburn hair and the mark of the Imariquan on his chest. He was playing in the creek, when he heard a small voice inside of his head. It was screaming at him, telling him a location.
At once, the boy followed the voice's directions to the spot described and implanted in his mind. At that place, he found an enormous cave that lead... upward? The voice... was telling him to seal it off. But he had no idea how to barricade a space that was as large as the palace. How? he asked, hoping that he would receive an answer.

(don't do anthing with Alayah, I have a plan for her.
Vox released his grasp on Alayah. "She Is dead.... SHE IS DEAD!" Vox yelled laughing horribly. "None can stand against me! I will destroy all!"
The specter floated before Vox, then the chains bound him, struck both his minions through the heart and soul. "You shall do no such thing demon." A voice rang out. An image of Clyth began to display from the specter
"Who are you?!" Vox demanded, caught by surprise and staring in awe at the corpses of his companions. Then when he saw Clyth his was stricken with fear, a feeling he had never felt before. "You are dead, I drained you of your life you..." Vox began to shudder. "How...?"
The chains tightened on Vox, making his cough up black blood. Clyth then stepped forward from the specter and placed his hands on Vox's bound arms, like he had done Alayah. "This is for Alayah..." Then Clyth absorbed the black flame into himself, returning it to blue flame. The Vox hum pale, but still barely alive. Clyth turned to Lance. "Lance, what do you say we finish him together?"

"With pleasure." Lance said, and jumped away from the corpses of Vox's minions. He nodded to Clyth, signaling an old tactic the two had developed long ago. He readied, waiting for Clyth to begin the attack.

Clyth readied himself, he put an outstretched arm beside Lance's. The other ready for an uppercut. Then the two thrust their fists straight into Vox's chest, he almost let go of his life, then Clyth used his fist in the uppercut and smashed Vox's jaw, bending the demon's head back so it almost broke. Then Clyth stepped back and gave Lance a thumbs up for him to finish. "Go on."
Vox had no energy left, he was dieing. But he would never give up. He used much of the remaining energy for one last telepathic message. Minixi, Minixi help me! I am dieing!

Seeing the signal, the Imariquan jumped. He landed behind Vox. "We didn't fight for nothing." Lance stopped as Vox began to waver and slightly fall back. And the sword drilled into his back. With closed eyes Lance said a prayer in the name of Alayah. When his eyes opened, they showed rage. But he knew what he had said was true. He took the sword from Vox's body, turned, and walked to Clyth. Another MP3 Player appeared in Lance's hand from his pocket. One look at it and he carelessly threw upon Vox's body. And he watched Vox fall back.

Clyth watched in disgust the demon fall back and down into an empty void. The binding chains let go of him and returned to the specter. The barrier released and the group was transported outside. Clyth lay the body of Alayah down the the grass next to the river. He looked at the specter. "Thank you for helping... I only wish she could have lived. Is there any way..." Clyth could not finish.
"It is my duty as the martyr of human life to preserve the peace of humans and keep demons at bay when they get too out of hand. It was nothing more than my job." A chiming voice echoed from nonparting lips. "Your friends fate is not scripted as death from magical activity, so there could be hope, but one death among you mortals does not concern me." The martyr turned and vanished.
"What?" Clyth said reaching at the place where he stood. He knelt down beside Alayah's body. "So is that it?" Clyth then felt a warmth in his heart. He then realized. "If I can focus the blue flame into my hands then, maybe..." Clyth placed his hands on Alayah's shoulders, he began to transfer the blue flame into Alayah. Thinking it would reverse the effects of the black flame. He stopped when he was sure it had reached her soul. He was weakened by this, but he didn't care. He waited and watched.
A cloud of blood followed the mangled body of Vox the demon. How did it all go wrong? How? I will not except death from humans, and especially not imariquans! How can this be...? his last thoughts before the last drops of black blood flowed from his corpse. The body drifted on in eternal darkness...

Minixi's bright orange and yellow speckled eyes appeared seemingly out of nowhere. "Well well, looks like you've accomplished something big," she said, grinning when she saw Alayah's corpse."
With a nod, Minixi rushed toward the glowing image of Clyth, her hand forming a fist. "And you're supposed to be dead!" she yelled as she raced toward the being. In all reality, she wasn't sure that she could penetrate it at all. If it was a soul, did it really have any matter left in it? Was it just an image? Minixi wasn't sure.
All she knew was that she was aiming for its face.
The boy in the center of the earth looked up at the giant cave mouth that lead up into the dark depths. Maybe it even reached into the demon realm. He knew it existed, and he knew of the surface, but he'd never encountered either one. Demons never came in the Center. And even if they did, they were quickly annihilated.
But what if... what if the demons could get through... and this was... the passage? This was where the girl's voice came from; where it was telling me to go. And... seal it off. But... I don't understand. How am I supposed to seal something off that's this big? I can't move a boulder that big, let alone even find one...
Then he seemed to see a spark, or rather, a flame, from the farthest reaches of the cave's darkness. Then he knew what he had to do...

((wait... were we gonna have them end up safe from the demons in the center, or just back on the surface? The boy was gonna transfer them into the center and seal off the passage...))

((that kinda messes up the ending I had planned... they'd just end up staying on the surface with Minixi lurking in the background... nothing really new..
Oh, they don't have to kill Minixi. Actually, I was gonna have the boy in the center get a Alayah's message and shoot an arrow toward the light flicker that he saw. And at that time Minixi was about to throw a punch at Clyth... but before she does she gets stabbed with the boy's blue flame arrow and dies. Then the boy would take them back into the center where they would live safely from the other demons...))

((The way things are headed now, I think we should go to the center since that seemed more developed. Maybe there can be another demon that helps minixi into the center? I don't know. Maybe someone should take over for Raiden while we're at it?))

((haha, Raiden, and earlier, Cassius, just kinda disappeared. oh well. he can come back if you want...
So... I'll just throw the opportunity out there with this post and then you guys can decide if you want your characters to come to the center or stay on the surface...))
It wasn't a coincidence that this boy was playing by the creek at the moment Alayah sent her final message. It just so happened that this boy had an outstanding and unusual relationship with the Blue Flame. Therefore, when he heard the voice of Alayah, he knew exactly how he was supposed to seal off the passage once he actually thought about it.
But... there was something else. Something deep inside him that told him to do something before he sealed the passage. Something that would require lots more energy and power.
So, for a moment, the boy titled his head to the side and looked up at the trees in deep thought. He wasn't able to hear voices; it wasn't a talent. The voice had to come from somewhere. It seemed as though it was from another Imariquan, but he wasn't sure. The boy saw the flame, the spark, from... the middle! He saw the small spark of blue light from the depths of the cave: the demon realm. That meant that there had to be someone there; someone that needed him enough to send a message.
So, he stood at the entrance to the cave and called upon the blue flame. It was faint at first, illuminating the inside of the cave from his body. However, the light grew steadily. Soon, the whole cave had become a tunnel of blue light. The light headed upward in a straight path toward the surface.
And from the depths of the cave that the river emerged from on the surface, blue light emerged. There was a tunnel of glowing light in a domelike path, right down to the center. The demon realm seemed to disappear, and from the end of the tunnel, a boy could be seen, beckoning then toward him frantically.
((sorry that post sucked so much. It was really redundant and possibly unclear? but it's late and I don't feel like editing... tell me if anything needs clarification))
