"Nori." Jun said as if he was tasting the name, testing how it felt in his lips. "Nori good name. I am called Jun, its very nice to meet you." Jun put the things he had taken from the pantry back and straighted some contents of the shelves so they did not look so rummaged through. Nori seemed very different when she was out of her dress. Jun liked the look to that of a very scrawny boy. But she still has a very attractive gentleness to her. "Nori. You are cook? I have never cook before, I have never had nice kitchen like this." Jun made a grand gesture to the room and chuckled quietly. Moving to watch more closely, Jun asked, "Can I may help you, Nori?"

"Nori!" Kyrin called happily when she and Charles walked into the kitchen, "We've come to-" She noticed Jun. "Oh do you already have help?" Being around these people made her forget Craig all together and for a moment a genuine smile lit her lips. Why is Jun in pajamas?
Charles' large form moved into the kitchen after Kyrin and said, "Ah, good evening Nori. And to you Jun." He nodded with a smile. He looked over Jun and said, "Have a long night kid?" The way he said kid sounded kind of endearing. Charles found Jun to be a more tolerable version of Xavier, but not quite as easy to understand.

Nori smiled to Jun. " Sure!" Was all he managed to say, before Ky sonorously called his name as she entered the room. Charles seemed to have come along too, looking large as usual with Ky beside him. " Hello Ky. Hi Charles." His hands continued working, but he stopped a moment to ponder. " Yeah, Jun offered to help, but you can too if you want Ky. Although I'm not really making anything complicated enough for more than one person." He smiled apologetically, but was sure it really wasn't a big deal. It was just enough having a group of friendly people together for idle conversation.

Craig followed Maddox along, asking questions here and there and talking with the workers. He wrote down notes and looked over the stations that were shown to him. Talking for a while with the men that Maddox introduced him to, Craig was able to get the information that Han said he was looking for. It appeared that Jaydn was doing well for them, the men seemed oblivious to what happened on the upper floors, which would be useful to the Matsui's if anything where to ever go wrong.
At Maddox's words, Craig turned to him pleasantly, "I hadn't made any plans, no." He smiled. Out of all the Matsui brothers it was always Maddox who had been the most understanding and perhaps that was why Craig didn't feel hostility seeping from him. Or perhaps it was that Maddox was just better at concealing his thoughts and feelings then his brothers. Craig would never have thought to question Han aloud on the matter, but he had wondered why he would send him if there were people here who didn't like him still. Perhaps it was Han's way of testing him or maybe Han expected better from his nephews and daughter. Craig shrugged it off, "I would love to join you."

Jun watched everything Nori did very closely, intent on learning everything he could. So when Kyrin called out from the doorway, Jun jumped a little in surprise. Following Kyrin was the large man from the meeting. Um.... Charles right? Jun was close to second guessing himself when Nori said hello to the man. Right, Charles! "Hello Charles, Hello Ms. Kyrin. Jun said warmly. Charles was a very large man, but Jun felt that he spoke and acted like a man about Jun's size. He seemed like some sort of secretary, and so with someone that Jun would usually be mildly afraid of due to his stature, Jun found Charles to be much more pleasant company. He probably couldn't hurt a fly, too bad all that bulk was wasted on s pencil pusher. "Yes, but nights are not long as I would like, for me." Jun replied to Charles with a friendly smile.

With a shrug, Kyrin said, "That's alright. I will sit and watch." Moving over to the table she pulled out one of the chairs and spun it around so that she could face Nori and Jun while they worked. And she watched Charles do the same. Tilting her head to the side slightly Kyrin asked Nori, "How are you?" The German words slipped from her lips nearly effortlessly and she turned a smile to Nori, waiting for his reply. Kyrin had worked on this phrase for days, trying to get it correct. While they cooked, Kyrin and Nori usually exchanged teaching one another their language. Sometimes just simple phrases or words and other times more complex things based on how they were progressing. Kyrin waited still, trying to see if Nori would respond in German or the Japanese that he'd learned.
After he'd settled himself in his seat he gazed curiously at Kyrin. He knew that she spoke Japanese, but the words that she spoke, definitely were not Japanese. What is it? But for the life of him, Charles still couldn't place it. He had been in on their nightly ritual before, listening to them talk back in forth in the same language and in different languages, but as not to interfere, he normally left until dinner was ready. This was only the third time he'd seen it happen, perhaps today he would ask about it. The curious look still played across his face.

Nori smiled to back to Kyrin, always enjoying any exchange of language. "Fine, as always.Practice with Miles is going okay, and there's a new theorem that I've started working on about fold-overs in spacetime. So that's really fun." he said, slightly stopping in between language transfers. It was fun to mix it up, like a puzzle. " How about you Ky? Are things ...okay?" He knew that she would know what "okay" implied, and she definitely seemed okay, but it was always best to be considerate. He kept in mind the fact that Charles and Jun were there as well, and planned on asking how everything was with them as soon as Ky responded.

Jun worked feverishly to be helpful to Nori with making dinner, but was failing horribly. Jun apologized profusely for his mistakes but did not give up his effort. When Kyrin spoke, Jun paused in his work because he thought her heard it wrong. When he played what she had said back to himself in his head he realized he had not. She had used words that he simply did not understand. The words sounded very alien. While he could not say for sure whether these were English words or not, but he did not think they were. When Nori replied with more of these strange words, Jun felt more assured that they were speaking in some other foreign language, But why the need for a strange foreign language. More surprising yet was the words the Nori spoke in Japanese. "You speak Japanese Nori? How come you did not say so? I am much more comfortable with speaking this way than I am in English. Jun spoke quickly in his native tongue, with hardly a noticeable pause between words.

Kyrin listened very carefully as Nori spoke, making sure to catch the words that he spoke in German. It was a little tough, but she caught on alright. When he mixed in a little Japanese Kyrin couldn't hold back a smile, they were doing well together. With the others in the room Kyrin searched her mind for words that meant she would be fine and after a brief silence she began. "I am glad to hear that things are going well for you.". She paused for a moment, to rethink her choice of words before beginning her next sentence."I am wonderful." She shook her head, That was the wrong word."Okay." She corrected,"Not wonderful. okay." Kyrin had finished replying just in time to see Jun stop and ramble off in Japanese. With his enthusiasm, it was almost difficult for Kyrin to keep up, but she managed without too much difficulty. Geez that boy talks fast. Kyrin nearly told Jun outright that Nori wasn't exactly fluent, but curiosity got the best of her and she turned to Nori, wondering how much he caught,"Understand? She questioned, looking at Nori and pointing at Jun.

Listening to Ky, Nori was understanding perfectly, except for the sketchiness of Japanese. Due to context clues it became obvious as to what she meant. It was fun to be able to mix and match into something of their own language. Once Jun replied excitedly, Nori froze what he was doing, listening to Jun, but his mind couldn't keep up with Jun's words. He had barely caught the first sentence, the rest was a blur except for the word "English". Turning slightly pink, Nori looked to Ky, and answered her question back to Jun. " Sorry...Only a little."

It took more than a little effort for Maddox to keep the disappointment from his face when Craig answered. Maybe if I wasn't so hopeful, things would work out more often. He knew, though, it wasn't likely.
Trying to remain hospitable, Maddox gave a small smile back. "Dinner won't be ready for at least another hour. Would you like to meet one more member of this floor before returning to your room to prepare to dinner?"
They had stopped just outside of Ms. Al-Kohen's office. Maddox found that her taking up an office on this floor was useful. He hadn't really had anyone else who knew of the mafia stationed down here with him and she was always so very professional. Recalling that it was just about 5, he hoped that she would still be in her office.

Only shortly after one week in her office, Molly had managed to cover every available surface in a stack of papers, a file box or a book of some sort. While to most, this office may appear to be a whirlwind of unorganized paperwork, Molly knew the precise location of ever sheet of paper and its general contents. Having found what work she had with the upstairs organization hardly enough to fill her time for long, Molly had taken to looking over the paperwork of the business that was run on the same floor as her office. Her need for an overload of work was further personified by the few books of complex puzzles setting on top of some of the piles of papers here and there. Shortly before five pm on this day, Molly was going through her end of the day routine. Finalizing some numbers and boxing up a few files on the surface, all the while attempting to perfectly time the end of her work with the time for her to go to her room. Sometimes she felt like a conductor of an orchestra, organizing the different parts of her Job to fall in a perfect line and end with a big finish. But as the clock was winding down, Molly heard a pair of voices approach her door. What is this intrusion, they better not put me off schedule. She thought consciously, but in reality she was very curious and hopeful that this people would have something for her to do. It would be like a challenge to find time to do this random errand and finish her work before she was to leave for the day. As the voices approched Molly set herself behind her desk and put on her Oh who could it be here to see little ol' me face.

Maddox had given a knock before entering the office. The door was slightly open to begin with, signaling that Ms. Al-kohen was still in there. Sure enough as they walked it, she was sitting behind her desk. Maddox gave a smile, "I apologize for the interruption but do you have a few free moments, Ms. Al-kohen?"
Maddox did a quick survey of the room as he spoke, recognizing that, per usual, the new member was keeping herself busy. In that essence, Maddox was reminded distinctly of Miles. I wonder if they get along at all? Gesturing now to Craig, Maddox gave a quick introduction, "I'd like to introduce Craig Kasai. He is a representative from Han."

"I understand. And yes, I would love to meet anyone that you think is important." Craig had replied to Maddox as the continued on down the hall. There were men walking about as they passed, most would nod a hello to Maddox and give a curious gaze to Craig before continuing. Perhaps they wonder if I am new here. He thought. Before he had any more time to wonder, Craig and Maddox had stopped in front of yet another office. When they entered, he took time to look around. All of the other offices they had surveyed had been rather well kept, no stray papers, everything that the men weren't readily working on put away. This office was nothing like the others and that in itself made Craig wonder, Who do we have here? Looking at the woman behind the desk he realized who it was. Ah, the lawyer. He nodded his head to her, "Its good to see you again Ms. Al'kohen. How are the accommodations treating you?"

"Oh. I... am... sorry." Jun slowly replied to Nori. "I did... not... know you spoke so... little." Jun smiled to Nori while continuing to mix a bowl of ingredients for dinner. Turning to Ky, Jun asked "So you are teaching each other languages, that is awesome. Maybe I could join you two to improve my English?"
