Zelda stood slightly off to the side, feeling increasingly guilty and intrusive; it wasn't enough that she'd caused this entire situation, now she was listening in on an obviously emotional, private conversation. She started quietly walking away, if only to give them some privacy. Then Link took out the sword, and she forgot about her discomfort.
The sword one that she recognized from her books, a hereditary blade passed down through a certain line, though what line she wasn't sure. But she could guess. There were only two sages the sword's owner could possibly have as an ancestor, Light and Shadow, but as his brother wasn't a Sheikah, one of those was extremely unlikely. She knew where the Sage of Light would have been taken; she could make some small part of this mess right.
She hesitated for only a split second, then spoke. " I think may know where your friend has been taken."

(I don't think either of us ever got off the horse, but I guess this works out better)
"And how exactly do you know that," Something was odd about this. What were the chances that he ran into the one person who knew where Gus was. And yet, for some reason, Link could not find it in his heart to believe that she was in anyway involved. Something about her, he just felt... connected.

(( She did, he didn't.))
Zelda raised her eyebrows. "Does it matter?" she asked softly, her eyes serious, "Knowing won't help you get there any faster. He's in the Temple of Light; I can give you directions..." She hesitated, looking at the large, rusted sword on his back, her face uncertain. "You do know how to use that, don't you?" she asked, nodding at the weapon.

Link stared down at the large sword hanging around his waist and his cheeks turned red, though no one could tell in the dark, "No, not really, truth be told, I doubt it would even cut butter, it's purty old." As Link stared into the girls eyes, a thought appeared in your head, "Hey, I was wondering, since you seem to know what's going on, do you wanna come with us?"

Sila looked down at her compass.
"Inariie, I have to go. My compass just changed direction again. I need to get out of the castle..." she murmered, taking off down the hall to find a corridor that lead in the direction the compass was pointing
Gustaf grinned.
"Do you really? Well, speak. I am the Goron chief, woman," he said, not bothering to use her name. Vladimir stayed in front of Sofia, warily eyeing the gerudo.

Zelda frowned thoughtfully. "I really shouldn't..." she murmured, almost to herself. She had gone into a lot of trouble to get out of the Palace; it would be foolhardy to go back in.
She met Link's eyes again, and smiled, almost impishly. " I suppose that if you don't know how to use a sword, I'm going to have to," she said lightly, "Maybe I should just go in and get him back by myself?" She glanced doubtfully at the enormous rusted sword. "Although I doubt I would even be able to lift that one."

"I know what you mean, It's meant to be a two handed sword," Link replied then patted behind him on the saddle, "so what are we waiting for? Let's get goin'" the blue-eyed blond grinned then stared at Bowie, 'Three teenagers, one saddle... this sure is going to be interesting.'
(Btw, you can guide them from here if youd like like have it say half an hour later, or something. I don't mind little god mods like that.)

"Um..." Bowie said as Link stared, "Is... something wrong...?" He smiled lightly, and looked back at Link...

Ten minutes later, they were deep within the center of Town, "Are you sure the Temple is around he..." Link started but as they turned the corner, the shrine came into view. the blond dismounted from his horse and walked over to the large door. He pushed hard on the door, but it didn't seem to want to move, "Would you two mind giving me a hand?"

No mater how much they pushed, the door didn't seem to want to open. Eventually, Link gave up and took a step back. It was at this moment that he noticed the writing above the door. It was old, ancient even, and yet somehow, the boy found himself able to read it, "These Doors shalt open only to the sage who protects it's secrets and the hero whom is destined to protect this land. Hmm, I wonder what that's supposed to mean."

Zelda only tried opening the door for a few seconds before she stopped and examined it; the inscription above it was written in a language she knew. As she did read it, her face fell. That was it; they couldn't get in. The inscription was referring to the Hero of Time, almost without question; the vague mentions of him in the book were just too similar to this to ignore. She turned to Link, biting her lip. She hated to be the one to have to tell him.
He was looking at the same words, his expression one of intense concentration as his eyes flicked across the ancient letters. He was reading them. Zelda's eyebrows shot up. How would a farmboy know how to read an ancient, practically dead language? It hadn't been widely used for over five hundred years.
Zelda watched him for a few more shocked seconds, then cleared her throat. "It's possible," she said, trying to keep her voice casual, "That having three people pushing on it is upsetting how the weight is distributed. Link, why don't you try standing directly in front of it and pushing on your own?"
Inariie shook her head sharply, frustrated beyond words. "Fine. On your own head be it." Without another word she spun and walked away.

(truth be told, I want Link to get the master sword)
Once again, Link tried, but, as expected noting happened. As link sighed, he suddenly noticed a large three inch slit in the door, 'Maybe it's a keyhole,' Link thought. It took a few moments, but suddenly, the farm boy had an idea. Quickly, he reached around for the sword on his back. Once it was unsheathed, Link held the sword with both hands out in front of him and slammed the blade into the slot. The Biggoron sword proved too long to work as a proper key, but it was now clear that he was on the right track, "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find the spiritual stones do you?"

Zelda's face fell as Link struggle fruitlessly to open the door, and she shook her head sharply. What had she expected? The reincarnated Hero of Time was not just going to show up and make everything alright again. She really was just a silly, spoiled little girl.
She sighed, then blinked. Link was sticking his sword into a hole in the door. Zelda looked at him incredulously, but before she could ask what he was doing, he turned to her and asked her a simple, reasonable question.
Zelda almost choked. "I-I'm sorry?" She let out a short laugh, more out of shock than any sort of amusement. "Yes, I know where one is; your family has it. The others-" She cut herself off and shook her head sharply. "No. What do you want them for?"

'How the hell did she know that?' Link thought, thinking of the green stone at the bottom of his bag, but he would be lying if he said that her knowledge was a complete surprise. There was definitely more to this girl then she let on, "I was just thinking that if a sword truly was the key, it would have ta be pretty mystical, and could ya'll think of a more mystical blade then the sword of evil's bane." Out of all the stories his mother had told him, the master sword had always been one he continued to believe in. After all, it was one of the few of her tales which he had found written down elsewhere, no matter how vague the references they may have been, "Oh and by the way, it's not my family that has the stone," His hand immediately dug into his bag and retrieved the stone, "It's me. I wonder what that vendor would say now."
