The police forces seemed to be prepared for even military resistance. Nothing the rebels were doing seemed to be very effective. This changed however, when most of them stopped fighting and began to quickly retreat farther back into the base to create a last line of defense before the hangar area would be breached.
The reason they were so quick to fall back became apparent when nearly half the base exploded in a chain reaction caused by a series of bombs that were planted. A few were still intact, the rebels prepping them having been either killed or captured before finishing.

Smoke fountained of the pile of rocks, which had now collapsed in on itself somewhat after explosions rocked it from internally. Police troops rapidly retreated, re-grouped in a shattered entry chamber, and then pulled out after several uninjured members had scouted the lower access tunnels to be blocked off. While victorious so far, the explosive vengence had depleted part of the initial attack team. Thus, the attack squadron went to "standby" formation while the commanding officers contemplated the situation as dusk fell. armed troops gaurded the parameter, and several patrolled the captured parts of the base. "well? What's like down there?" A older man asked, annoyed at the delay. a glinting metal plate on his armor showed his rank. A trooper removed their helmet. "Not good..." They set a holo projector on the hoverbike that was being used as a table. A green map blossomed rapidly above it, in a scrawl of glowing lines. "I had Dantha and her team scout it. Even with some of them bombs deactivated, that blast was effective: it sealed them in. Near as we can tell, there's some form of hanger down there, and they're protecting it." "Hmmm....The rocks?" "Very hard, sir. We can't blast them out of the way, we need digging gear." "I see....D**n, I wanted to do this quickly. Siren may not be pleased; and I had the techies patch our cam feeds through..." The man ground his teeth in annoyance. The Younger man presenting looked up. "A live feed? Um, was that a good idea?" The commander looked annoyed. "Yes, it is! Who you like to explain whatever happens here to her?! This way, she can see it for herself, and hopefully understand." "...." "don't stand there...! Go get some troops and head back to the city; get the needed equipment and get back her in no more than 7 hours. Now go!" "Sir!" The trooper saluted, put there helmet on and walked of to carry out teh orders. The commander spoke to his assistants. "...Get troops up on regular watch, mount sensors everyware. we're gonna be here a while, and if anything moves, I want to know what it is, where its is, and what it's favorite color is-! Shoot any Rebels that try to run, unless they can be captured easily. Do it....!" "Right away..." The Commander leaned down and looked at the map as hover engines hummed in the distance, the supply crew heading off. "It's gonna be a loooong night...." --------------------------------

Mandalore Warrior [[No, I hit him in the head with the rifle but, and threw the body in the ship.]] ((No, di'kut. I'm saying you didnt stay on Obroa-Skai long enough for me to make an effort to contact you. You were up and gone in a single post. @Shouri: It helps to look up a world on Wookieepedia before you go randomly bumbling around on it. And I'm not the Rescue Corps. I'm a Bounty Hunter. I dont investigate crashed ships unless theres money involved.)) The Next day, Cene sat at a Spaceport Bar, clad in her beskar'gam. It had been a long few days and she needed to cool off. Helmet buckled to her belt, she tapped the bar patiently as she waited for the bottle of abrax she had ordered.
From across the bar she noticed that she had drawn the attention of a human male, probably Corellian by the looks of him. Having had a few courage bolstering (and wisdom reducing) drinks and egged on by his friends, the man was now walking towards her.
"Haar'chak." She muttered, guessing the greaseball was coming to hit on her. She turned to stare straight at the mirror behind the bar as the corellian sat down next to her, a smile plastered on his face.
"Need something, corellitii?" She asked in a markedly uninterested manner.
"Yeah, baby. I was wondering: Whats it feel like to be the most beautiful girl in the room?"
She'd have to give him points for that. That was clever. But in a spaceport bar it wasnt saying much for her looks.
She turned to him with a slight grin, her yellow eyes narrowed in a flirty manner. "Looking for some action, Spacer?" She asked.
The Corellian's grin grew wider and he threw a conspiratorial wink back to his buddies. "You bet, Mando babe. How bout it? Your ship or mine?"
"Oh, here is just fine." She snapped her hand out and grabed a fistfull of the Corellian's blond hair and pulled, slamming his face onto the counter. She released him and the man sunk to the floor.
"Down after only once?" Cene said in mock disapointment. "Sorry, cutie. It seems you're not tough enough for us Mando girls. Why not find yourself a Tw'ilek?"
As her drink and a shot glass manifested before her, the Corellian's angry friends rushed over, pushing people out of the way as they surrounded her.
"You b***h!" one of them, a bothan, barked at her. "You're gonna pay for what you did to Jahl!"
As he was speaking, Cene poured herself a shot of abrax and downed it. She frowned at the glass, disaproving of the quality of the drink and seemingly ignoring the morons around her.
"Hey!" The Bothan snapped. "We're talking to you!"
"I wondered what that sqeaking noise was." She said, screwing the top back on the liquor bottle. "Now why dont you boys clear out before I decide to scalp the lot of you?"
That, coupled with the dawning knowledge that they were picking a fight with the only Mando in the room, was enough to give them pause. Just enough time for Cene to grab the bottle of poor quality liquor by the neck and club the Bothan.
In an instant the cantina erupted in a bar fight. And Cene couldnt be happier.

[[...I didn't know where everyone was.]]
Deakin stood up seeing his money was being delivered. "Thank you," he said bowing. The Hutt hollered at him, and the translator began to speak.
"Lord Hutt would like to know if you interested in another hunt" he said handing over a hologram of the man "he is an employee of Brai. One who lurks around the bars. 10,000 credits. Deal?". Deakin made a small chuckle and headed for the door. Normally, that meant no. For a second, he thought.
"Deal," he said "on one condition. Let me kill him. I'll send photos of the body." The translator spoke to the Hutt lord, who made a laugh and a nod. Turning around, he had a lonely, and what seemed to be a long walk back to his ship. As he neared the doors, he ran his fingers across the metal. The door opened, and he set foot inside. He looked around. These days, he thought any moment could be his last. The blast door closed, and he threw the case of money to the side of the pilots chair. "Set course for Obroa-Skai" he said leaning back, closing his eyes. The ship was moving slow, and he slept for a while. The same old dream haunted him. The battlefield with darkness closing in behind, and the raging enemy up north. Just as he was about to get swallowed by the darkness, he awoke, and the ship neared the planet. The ship landed, and still, he was in the chair. "Another job" he thought.
Deakin grabbed his rifle and sidearm and headed out with his helmet off. A few people looked him in the eye. Wrong move. His scar was noticeable along with his armor. Deakin didn't mind. It was common to him. His rifle strapped to his chest, and sidearm on his left thigh, he neared the Spaceport Bar. He heard yelling. Not the common drunk yelling, but a fight yelling. Deakin walked in and two people were fighting in front of him. He felt like an outcast. He sat down and ordered. "Surprise me" he said in a depressed tone. Turning around to watch the fight, he was a bit annoyed. "Ya know," he said aloud crossing his arms facing the fights "where I come from.. we fought for somewhere better, and for something better than what you scum are doing."

((conversation dropped and edited))
Obroa-skai
It didn't take Katarra long to traverse the icy tundra towards the central point of population her scanner had picked up. It only took a few hours, judging by the way the sun slid across the sky, although for all she knew time here was longer or shorter than the average planet, she could not tell.
The trek through the tundra left her thickly padded toes rather numb, but once she reached more temperate ground closer to the city, she began to sense feeling returning.
It was then that she spotted a patrol of humans walking towards her. They had spotted her dark cloak before she'd spotted them, and were aiming towards her.
"Hello." One of the men greeted, raising a hand as she drew within hailing range. "Was that your ship?" She nodded, growling her assent, studying them to see if they understood her language. It seemed they didn't, as the man nodded and stood blinking up at the tall wookiee, slightly intimidated as she pushed back the hood of the cloak, revealing her fur to the slightly cool breeze. "Is your ship in distress, or do you need repairs done?"
She appreciated that he was asking yes or no questions. She shook her head to the first, and nodded to the second, presenting her datapad with a pre-typed request of the parts she needed. The man studied it and nodded. "We can take you to the city where you can purchase these. If you like, we can have your ship brought to the starport...?" He asked, looking a bit curiously at her. She considered the offer. She didn't have much credits, but bringing the ship to the starport would be quite more convenient. She nodded her acceptance, and punched in her acceptance to the order as he had the request signed. They would haul the ship using a larger planetary vehicle and park it in a hanger, giving her the bay number. She had no doubt they'd do their jobs, they did appear to be officials.
They gave her instructions and left her with a map of the city, which she studied before she entered the gates, strolling around feeling a bit less ill at ease. This seemed to be a major point of interest... There were mechants selling all sorts of wares in the bazaar, and even an academy of learning.
She glanced at the datapad. The officials had asked that she go and speak with the academy and register her ship with them, seeing as it had crash-landed and not come in as normal ships did, they had to do a damage assessment of the land around the crash site. So, she headed towards the Academy to do just that.

As the last man fell before Cene and the requesitioned bar stool she had beaten him down with, a voice cut what would have been the post fight silence.
"Ya know, where I come from.. we fought for somewhere better, and for something better than what you scum are doing."
Her Taung blood and adrenaline flowing from the enjoyable little scuffle with the barflies, Cene locked gazes with the di'kut who oppened his mouth.
Surprisingly, it was a black garbed human Mando.
Cene cricked her neck and sized him up. The guy wasnt from her clan. In addition he called her scum and presumed to think he was better than her. Older Mando'ad or not, the Di'kut was looking for a sheb-kicking.
"Funny, ner'vod." She said. "For a human your age, you'd think you'd know when to shut your trap. Might want to get back to nursing your drink and mind your own buisness."

Deakin smiled then let out a laugh. "Now why would I speak to another Mando'ade like that?" he asked looking at the bodies "I meant the scum on the floor." Slowly he walked closer to one of the men. He knelt down and checked his face. "You can relax now," he said leaning on the bar "Udesiir."

Her yellow eyes watched the other Mando get up and move to the bar. "I was relaxing." She said matter-of-factly. She swept her white hair out of her eyes and dropped the barstool on the bothan, her second victim in the row. "Dare I ask what another one of us is doing on this boring world?"

Deakin sniffed the drink and set it back down. He was disgusted by alcohol. The only one he would drink, is Mandalorian wine. He lifted a finger, and pointed at one of the men on the floor. "Got my mark," he said reaching for his data pad.

"Yeah?" Cene said, stomping a boot on the man in question's back and eliciting a groan from the barve. "How much is he worth?"
