((Why did I just imagine Super stopping suddenly and saying, "My spidey sense is tingling!" .... Hmm...))
Super stopped a moment and thought for a second. "You'd rather take on the large machines, when I have the thing that can cleave through them like butter. I duuuunnnnoooo..." Super said, before smirking. "Robots are fair game, but I don't think we'll run into many, considering they all just... exploded. I'm surprised on how much personnel we've already run into. I didn't expect the base to be so well defended already, even though this is where they were going to take Kairi if they had succeeded." He explained. He started moving down the hallway at a slower pace, "Whatever is going on, we have to be more careful. No more charging in." He warned.

((Because it would be cute to see Super be able to just feel Sickle's happyness from all the way over there. 4laugh ))
Lea stuck her tounge out jokingly when Super had been talking about his superiority as far as weaponry. She knew that Super could take those things in a fraction of the time Lea could, but it wasn't like she got to do stuff like this all the time. At least not anymore.
"Ok." Lea said, nodding slightly. It made sense, since they'd made so much comotion so far... "So...now that we're slowing down a bit....is there really any specific that we're trying to get here?" Lea asked, well aware she probably sounded like a dunce.

"Besides bringing down yet another G.U.N. base? At least for a little while..." Super said, walking down the hallway. "Well, I guess you are a bit out of the loop, but I think I've been the only one thinking ahead, no offense, you have been informed of very little." Super began, before turning to a room and looking inside. There was little inside except a few notes on a table. Looked like a break room, at worst. "Come on, in here." He beckoned the white wolf inside. It shouldn't take long to explain the details, at least that's what Super expected. As he picked up the papers on the table, he found they had little to interest him, and quickly threw the papers on the ground, and indicated for Lea to sit down. He moved around the table and sat down as well.
"To start off, I think I explained that there was another person besides your future daughter that appeared. His name is Beo, and apparently, he is the son of both Sickle and Kairi... Don't get to excited, it isn't how you might expect it to be." He started off, not letting Lea go into fantasies of a beautiful wedding and the two being happy, before the accident that apparently took place soon after. In Lea's head, it all didn't make much sense, Super believe, considering there were so many conflicting timelines, it seemed. "As it is, Today was the day G.U.N. would make their move against us, us being Sickle and Me. We know too much about G.U.N. and it's infrastructure for them to feel safe, and we are... well, not to toot my own horn, but we are rather strong." He explained, tapping the table with his fingers. "G.U.N. would try to kidnap Kairi when she was alone, and they would take her here. I explained this to you outside the base, but they had two goals. One, was to lure me, Sickle, and anyone else who would help us here to kill us. Two, was to create a second genetic project like Sickle, and According to these..." Super held up a piece of paper. Lea hadn't seen these before, and probably wondered where Super got it.
-- Five minutes prior... -- Super nodded back and sprinted behind Lea, nearly bumbling right into her when her tail smacked his face. When they got to the door, Super dropped the bag and pulled out the box, handing Lea back her Cloaker. He pulled out a small mine and placed it on the wall. Closing the box, he ducked them into a nearby room, and started looking around, mainly for papers or something, but they didn't find anything and soon left the room.... So Lea thought. On his way out, Super chanced by a few notices on the wall. Grabbing a quick look, he tore an interesting paper off the wall and took off after Lea.
When Lea ran ahead at one moment, Super chanced a second look.
'Project: Beowolf'
When Super ran off to take care of the three guards, when Lea was turning the corner, Super had read a few more lines, intrigued. He connected the final dots.
--
"This paper details Project: Beowolf, a genetically superior model to Sickle, taking characteristics from the serum that first produced Sickle and taking the chaos powers imbued in Kairi's new body - you remember that story, I believe - and her own powers to make one more beast of much more power." Super explained. "I found this paper upstairs when we first entered the first building that was connected to the main gate. Apparently this is big news, and I wouldn't doubt that. Brass would do anything to raise troop support, and that would include infusing them with fear at a new genetic superweapon at his disposal." Super scoffed, obviously talk of Brass made him sick. Something Lea might not know much about is Super's previous dealings with G.U.N., while she may have the basic gist, she didn't know the finer details, which really led to some sick stuff on everyone's ends.
Super continued, his strategic mind racing as he went on, "I know that it would have taken us a few days to locate Kairi on this island, and it would have been to late in the other timeline where our future visitors came from. From them, I pretty much gathered that Sickle died in the fight to get to Kairi in this facility, probably rushed in with a rush of rash emotion that got him subdued, and I can only guess Kairi died in childbirth, but the wolf that came with Anna, Beo, is their son and is not evil or have any allegiances to G.U.N. I think this means that we were somewhat successful in our rescue, we must have secured the baby." He said, thinking a bit. "Everything probably went downhill from there, but fifteen years later Beo gets sent here and Anna does too, changing the timeline and preventing Kairi's kidnapping. I'm not sure how long it will take for those changes to inflict the children now, as I'm sure time is like a shockwave, and it should effect their forms soon. I'm not sure how, it's only a guess." He stood up, the explanation was almost over, and they had to get moving.
"As for the second reason why we're here, I want to find and destroy anything relating to Project: Beowolf and stop G.U.N. from trying to harm Kairi or Sickle in anyway to further their power." Super said. "And that includes killing without mercy." He followed up coolly. Lea had never been on a mission like this with Super, and now she could see that in the field, he was a no-nonsense leader, extremely efficient and more deadly then ever.

Lea sat and listened intently on Super's explination, only responding in a swift nod every so often. It seemed like all the facts were being shot into her brain, yet they'd continually keep buzzing after she heard them. That was....until he mentioned merciless killing... A cold chill went up her spine, images of her doing the horrible deed....it just couldn't happen. But she didn't want to hinder Super's leadership, so she merly sighed. "If it's alright with you, I think the 'merciless killing' should go to the person with the most power and speed...which is you. Obviously you know I have my reservations on death...so I'll help in any way I can that doesn't have to shave off human life."

"That's fine by me. I wouldn't like to have my friends have any more blood on their hands." Super said, pulling out his sword from thin air as he did so. "But I've watched the agents that we've met up with. They are rebounding quickly and efficiently. These are elites, and they will not hesitate to kill you." Super said, before sighing and adding, "I treat the enemy with the same respect they treat me, and nothing more." He exited through the door, looked both ways, and headed down the hallway with a brisk walk.

"People've been after me for a long time, doesn't suprise me much." Lea chuckled slightly, suprisingly lax about the idea of people out for her life. Echidnas, humans, robots...she had a pretty big list. Lea gave a small nod when she heard Super's comment about respect of his enemies, which made sense. If you treated your tormentors with more respect than they had for you, then more than likley they'd use that to take advantige of you.
Following Super down the hall, Lea found herself swaying her arms back and forth rythmicley. Despite this very serious conversation, Lea's continually good mood seemed to flourish. Or maybe it was just her childish nature that was making her bored and ADD, whichever.

Super looked through doors and windows whenever he got the opportunity and was able to find a second staiwell leading down. Apparently, he was surprised. "This must be a rather large facility, I mean... They must be nearly completed with it." He said, rather surprised. He pulled something out of the bag. The red lights we're dying out now, and it was almost pitch black. He clicked the object in his hands on, and it turned out to be a flashlight. "It'll only get darker from here on out. I only had one with me, so stick close by, but not to close. One shot from the dark doesn't need to lay us both down." He warned. Opening the door to the stairs, Super made his way down to labs below, wondering just what might be down there...
--
Sickle nuzzled Kairi's cheek softly. "I thought it was customary to ask first." He said, with a warm smile on his face. He continued the deep embrace with his only love for what seemed like hours, even if it was only for a few minutes, seconds even. But he knew Kairi would be too overwhelmed with excitement to stay with him long - she would have to go and tell Sparky.
Although, it went without saying he dreaded what Haden would have to say.

Lea nodded slightly, and kept a good closeness between herself and Super. Every so often she would want to shift her running position, but refrained since in the case of an attack it would do no help to Super to have Lea suddenly behind or to the side of him to have to be saved. Besides, she could and wanted to take care of herself.

Sickle didn't know what else to say after that - every time he tried, there was some sort of mental block, which if he had talked to Super, he would of realized it was because he had no idea what Kairi's answer would be. As he lay on the ground - when Kairi fell into him, he wasn't expecting it and thereby fell over with her - he tried to think of something to say. "Wait, you're choosing to marry an idiot?" He asked, with a blissfully goofy smile on his face.
-- Super halted a moment. He looked around and swore under his breath. "There is no destruction here, no soldiers or lights. Intentionally left alone. Come on, I got a bad feeling they expected an EMP of some kind... there are stairs here." Super shined his flashlight on the door, which had the image of a man running down some stairs. As he cracked the door open, he gave a look inside. They went down the third flight of stairs, descending deeper into the base. When they reached the bottom, they found the stairs still continued going down. "A buffer. There must be a generator on the fourth floor. I wish I would of brought two EMPs." He said. The EMP explosions didn't have the power to descend down this far away from the initial explosion. He motioned for Lea to follow him down into the bottom areas even further. I bet that's exactly what I said in the alternate future.
((Hmm... I have an idea...))

((What of?))
Once again, with Lea's apparent block of real intuition, she merley nodded and followed Super's tail. Part of her was unsure her lack of input was good or bad, since it gave Super more control of the situation and Lea knew where to run. She had always been the "leader" of her and Slash's group, though Slash was usually the brain at the computer doing hack jobs, but maybe it was better that she was sort of letting go of the reigns. Her only hope was that her habit of being bossy wouldn't cause problems in the long run.

Super stopped a moment. He was about to open the door when it hit him. "If they had time to think of a buffer, they knew we were going to attack someday. Maybe we caught them by surprise, but there is a chance that they are still prepared. Maybe we got off more lucky this time then we once did with the whole party, but the fact remains... the people down here are completely aware of what's happened." He explained. Turning to Lea, he sighed. "Do you still have that Emerald on you? If I open this door, chances are one of us is going to become Swiss Cheese." He left out the part where he knew it would be him.
As they made their way through the base, Super had been thinking about everything. Recently, though, he had been trying to think of Slash's involvement. It was obviously him who had originally betrayed them. Giving the location of their home, the information that G.U.N. needed to abduct Kairi and plan this whole thing. Even so, he doubted Slash would willingly let his sister die if she chose to join Super's side when he revealed himself personally. All the fire and the attacks would be towards him, but he trusted Lea's nature to want to help her close group of friends, and couldn't have her in harms way right now. Not when they had the upper hand.
"We've done months, maybe a years worth of damage on this island. Whatever may be on the other side of this door isn't important enough to keep going. Not when they have electric going and lights to see us. We should evac now." He ordered, letting go of the door. "Before either of us get hurt."

Lea crouched, looking in Super in confusion to his sudden desire to totally abandon what they had maybe needed to come here for. So far she had been relativley subordinant, taking a back seat to this whole thing, but she really needed some kind of answers. As he continued to talk about all the damage they had done and the dangers in moving forward, part of her was still asking him what the heck was going on when she said, "Yeah I have it." and pulled out her emerald. "I don't know exactly where it is you guys have your base or whatever, so you may need to give me a little direction in the time warp kay?" Despite Lea's tone betraying her obvious confusion and mild frustration at the lack of information, she merley put her hand on his shoulder before they both vanished with a white flash.
-------------------------------
((Ok, this post is dark, bloody, and uberly morbid... So if there are small children out there, sheild your eyes! ))
A figure sat slumped in his chair, hands clasped, staring at a huge wall of screens flashing images of the two intruders. With the lights dimmed, the rays of light from the scenes began to play on the yellow eyes of the figure, though there was no inner light to them, but a dull intensity. ((HOMGAWD I CAN'T RMEMBER WHAT COLOR EVIL-SLASH'S EYES ARE D: ))
"Hmph....we were expecting a hedgehog in a wolf....but it seems like we made a small mistake, now didn't we...?" A second figure lay motionless, splatters of crimson splashed about the empty room. "But then you made alot of mistakes didn't Mr. Dunnel?" He rose from his seat and walked casually over the the lifeless body, walking around it casually. "Of course not made to me of course.....no no...." He paused, looking down at the frail shell of Dunnel. "but instead you prayed on an innocent little girl." Suddenly he rushed the body, kicking it mercilessly as he screamed angrily. "HOW DOES IT FEEL HUH!? YOU HEARTLESS b*****d!!" His foot halted after a few moments, and his cool demenor returned. "But then again, I can't say I've been the best sport either. Of course I gave you idiots all that information out of concern for Lea, but I can't say that the money you offered wasn't convincing... Besides, it gave you a nice foothold to blackmail me back into service of you drones....and who would give up the chance to meet up with an old friend hm?" He gave a cutsey smile before stepping back over to his chair, and flicking the blood off his boot.
With a swift turn, he regained his former seated position and looked back at the screens, smiling with anticipation. "Now that your flat *** is out of the way, Bass can hurry up and make me a senior officer so we can get everything underway." He gave a sigh and began to rub his forehead. "Formalities are such a waste of time don't you think? If they'd just have promoted me when I gave them all this information instead of filling the rest of my service time, you would have been dead months ago and the job would have been done!.....And Lea might not be mixed up in it..." The eyes seemed to soften for a moment, but were darkened a moment later as he stood up. "Well, if I'm gonna be an evil b*****d as well I better learn not to be so soft...." With that he rose from his seat and pressed a pager button on the side of the entrance. "Yes sir?" "Another casualty down in the main sector." "Is it a soldier?" "Yeah, he's been mutilated. I can't really identify him." Releasing the button he rushed over and kicked the body once more, aiming for the face and crushing it until it looked no longer human. He stopped when the sound of the young soldier came onto the comlink. "Sir, is everything alright? Sir?" "Everything's fine. Smell of the blood overwhelmed me. Wolfen senses, you know." The was no answer for a few moments, but he could tell the soldier probably nodded in agreement. "We'll send an evac team right away." "Good lad. Out."
With a flick of his foot to remove the blood off his boot, the figure stepped out of the room and into the light, his fur prickling as he adjested to the heated lights down the coridor. As he walked down the halls where other soldiers were being carried out, he gave a long sigh. "Yep, I'm just too **** soft."

As the bright flash went off, a soldier entered through the door and stood at attention. "Someone contact Dunnel. They took the bait, but they just fled." He related to the soldier behind him. He walked over to the spot where the Hedgehog and Wolf were, aiming his gun there and taking a few cautionary shots. Satisfied they were gone, he frowned. He almost had them, too. Would of got a promotion, he bet. "#$%^ing creatures. Can't believe we even allow some of them into the god#$%^ Military." He spat at one of the bullet holes in the wall he made, and left into the safe region on the lower basements of the base. A soldier came up to him and reported that Dunnel could not be reached.
"And sir?" The soldier asked meekly.
The commanding officer of the floor looked at the soldier a moment before finally seething, "Come on then, out with it!"
"The wolf we are taking orders from, that Slash person... He said his sister was going to take sides with the Rebels. What would be your orders si-" He was cut off when the officer grabbed him by the shirt and shoved the gun into his neck threateningly. The soldier panicked, "Co-co-colonel Reed!?"
"Number one! We do not take orders from filthy animals! Number Two: Shoot any opposition and shoot any furry little b*****d in the head! Number Three!" He through the soldier on the ground and reached for a cigar on his belt. He popped it into his mouth and lit it in one fluid motion, shooting the tip right off, the gunpowder lighting the stick. "I want to know everything about this wolf. Who he is, where he came from, what's his angle. I want all that on my desk by tomorrow, or you'll wake up with your left nut in your right hand, Do you understand me!?" He was seething. He didn't like to think of any type of uncivilized cretin could ever take a higher position then the one he held. Over his god#$%^ dead body.
--
Super and Lea flashed into existence on the beach of the new location of Super's home. Somehow, Super had directed their travel while in the warp. Super released Lea and took his Emerald back, placing it in his bag and stretching in the process. They had to of been gone for an hour or two. No more sounds emanated from the house as they stood outside it. Super related this, and explained quickly that, "There were a couple of add-ons to this home, so we had to do some quick construction to add doors to these rooms." Super pointed out that the beach they stood on was enclosed by some rocky looking cliffs on either side of them, with a small path leading back up to the house. This was the smaller, private beach that connected to the house, away from the main, public beach where Sickle and Kairi were merely a half an hour before. Super sniffed the air slightly, for no real reason other then to take in the sea air. "Well, come on, I'll show you the new rooms. Every one is here too... Even Anna, if you wish to meet with her.

Slash began to sweat profusley, the weight of the dumbells causing his small frame to quake and stammer. 250 lbs on each side, more than he had eve lifted when training with Lea. She had always worried that he would hurt himself... Slash lifted up the bar and set it on it's perch with a loud grunt. He shouldn't think about Lea anymore. Couldn't. He was on his own now... She would figure out his betrayel, hate him, and he would have to live with it... Had to get use to it now rather than later...
He swept his face with a towl and then hung it onto his shoulders, his muscles tense and jittering. Everything was sore, but that's what he needed. Something to keep his mind off things, off others.... All that mattered was himself now, because eventually that's all he'd have. No one cared about him at the base. No one spotted him in lifting, no one converesed during meal time, no one even said hello most of the time. But it made sense since the place had been run by the Dunnel bigamist. Though he was dead now, his second in command Colonial Reed was just as bad, and with a raging temper. Fortunatley it would work in his favor with killing off his little animal friends...
Walking down the corridors once more, Slash noticed a small, newbie soldier running like mad toward somewhere. Though the little dude was too quick for him to be able to ask what was going on, the look of panic on his face seemed to say it wasn't good. It seemed that he was heading in the general direction of the archives, so Slash decided to take a little stroll to see what was going on.
