My next guess: The Ultima weapon, Cloud's ultimate weapon.
You get the weapon by killing the Ultima weapon. The Search for the weapon can be difficult. Fighting him so many times can whittle you down. He can hurt you quite a bit, wich takes valor to survive. And all he says is "Rawr" or something to that effect.

No. Those answers would be too obvious, and would thus destroy the point of it being a riddle. In a nutshell: those answers are all wrong.
