I got Metroid: Other M yesterday, and I love it.
I wasn't sure about it after a while, but my worries have been relieved.

I've heard really good things about it, outside of reviews. The reviews, as Wayne has pointed out to me, all complain about different things. What one reviewer says is "ahead of its time" about the game, another says "seems 15 years old in presentation."
I want to get it when I beat the Trilogy, but that seems so far away. crying
Also I had a hell of a time posting this. The post page kept quickly linking me to a photobucket sign on page.

You have to hit stop, before it finishes loading.

If you have Adblock on Firefox, add that as a new filter.
The plugin will stop loading up, and you can reply without trouble.
