You don't get the digimon, but you do get to call the digimon into the rp to assist you in some way that relates to their abilities and nature... All our characters know is that Marcus has the memory. So Kazu is gonna do everything he can to even the odds. Hence his all out attack despite being in absolutly no state to fight.
