I'm confused.
I thought this 2% tax was supposed to fix things, and even make the inflation go down. So why is the Nitemare Scarf up from 2.3mil to 2.5 - 2.8mil and up.
I can understand a slight bit of inflation in order to cover the 2% tax, but that should only be 46k, not 200k+.

For now I'd imagine that's a result of users overreacting and trying to show that the 2% tax will raise prices by raising the prices themselves. It hasn't had much time to do much of anything yet, it's far from an instant fix.

It hasn't had much time to do much of anything yet, it's far from an instant fix. I'm not outraged or anything, but I'm starting to have doubts that this tax will do what they say it will. Gaian's never lower the price of an item. The only time it does go down is when somebody sells it for 12k instead of 13k or 14k. Even if no one buys the item, they can wait until somebody comes up with the gold to buy it instead of lowering it to sell it quicker. I can see this system working for slowing down inflation, but I can no longer see it bringing the price of items down.

Yeah, I'm hoping they get to about 10k before I buy a couple. For the first time in a while I like the items enough to make it worth my goldz. Well, I will admit that I did like the dragons and the frogs from the tome.
