Wow.
My library's computer system does not handle requests well at all. x__x
I requested a book that's available at two branches--we'll call them Branch A and Branch B.
I work at Branch B, so I requested that Branch B be the pickup location.
Even though neither copy is checked out, the computer puts Branch A's copy on hold so that--when it is finally pulled from the shelf at Branch A, sits on a cart all day and night, is put on a truck, and is finally shipped and processed--I can pick it up at Branch B where the book is still sitting on the shelf.

Ohhhh, I know why you can't see it. That subforum has been removed because it was felt that it, along with one or two of the other guild subs did not generate enough discussion and posts in order to remain active among the forums.
That'd be why you can't see your thread. It's because it's in a subforum that no longer exists.
