Hauntednight
The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight was relieved Pebbleheart was regaining her weight and strength back. Hauntednight put his muzzle by hers and licked her forehead happily.] "C'mon then, lets go hunting!" Hauntednight mewed. [He was already padding to the entrance of the camp, waiting for Pebbleheart. He showed a bit of tiredness, but he wanted Pebbleheart to regain her full strength.] And if she travels with me that shadowy cat won't get us because we are together and I'll protect her. [Falconstrike's eyes had been closed, since he had been taking a short nap before he was rudely awakened by Iceears. However, since she was the medicine cat, he liked to be a little nicer to her than other cats. After all, he didn't know when he might get injured and would need her help...so getting on the medicine cat's bad side was not a good think. Still, to wake him up from a nap? She better have a good reason for this.]
"Yeah? Help with what?"

 "If you ever wish to see me..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bluepaw was in her tree trying to put her second dog tooth into the collar when Rainstar appeared "Hey, do you smell-" Bluepaw turned around and was shocked, two huge gashes were in Rainstar's shoulder "Who-What-How did this happen!?" "Long story, I hope you'll forgive me-" "What did you do?!" Bluepaw asked a little worried "I found Forsaken and we got into a fight and I-" "What were you fighting about" she hissed "Your safety, you went out to kill that dog and it was it's fault" "I chose to attack the dog, not it" "But you never would have-" "Just leave me alone, ok?" "I'm really sorry for waking you from sleeping. I know you probably have a ton of things you've done and you're really tired, but I need some help and you were the first cat to come into mind that would possibly help me. Meddicine cats are suposed to have basic training of hunting skills and fighting skills, but since my mentor died before I had the chance to do that I haven't actually learned any of that so I was curious if you could teach me some fighting or hunting moves. I mean I figured it might be good practice for both of us since you're probably going to get a apprentice some time.... so.... will you help me?"
[Iceears said looking embarased that she had woken Falconstrike up in the middle of sleeping. She hoped that he would say yes.]

Birdsong
[Birdsong rolled over onto her back, snorting softly. The warm sun lit up her pelt, but she paid no attention to her beauty. She wasn't hungry. The Clan had enough prey. Rosewind was probably resting. Mapleleaf was training Cloverpaw. And Birdsong had no idea where Spadepaw was.
Birdsong sat up, and frowned.
She had an idea.
Standing up, Birdsong padded out into the moor, tail twitching. She kept on moving until she came to the spot where he was buried. She hadn't been here in forever.
Birdsong had been hoping coming here would give her what she had been searching for, lighten her mood, make her smile. But it didn't.
Blazeheart is dead, Birdsong. It's over
She would never forget that day. Birdsong wondered if she would ever be able to tell Mapleleaf who her father was.
Birdsong tilted her head. Probably not. Maybe. But not likely. but still, Birdsong had known who her father was, why should she deny Mapleleaf that knowledge?
Because talking about him hurts too much, that's why.
Stop lying, that's not the reason.
Birdsong sighed. He wouldn't of been a good father anyways]

[Blossomkit smiled brightly at Dovekit. She was happy that her friend came to visit her.] "Dovekit!" she called, happy. "I'm almost feeling better! I will be able to play again!" Blossomkit said, coughing a bit. [Blossomkit purred as she pawed Dovekit with her paw playfully, feeling as if it's been a while since they've played together. She smiled at her friend and blinked.] Above the cloud with its shadow is the star with its light.
_______________________________________________________ [Shadow smiled at Snowcherry and then looked around the camp. He rested his chin on his paws and heard the light breeze whistle in his ear. The fresh-kill pile was pretty much full, probably a few can be used for storage. While looking around the camp, he noticed that Birdsong was no where in sight. He lifted his head, wondering where the she-cat has gone. His whiskers twitched in confusion, wondering why she was upset lately. A bit of disappointment shot through him, trying to figure out why she is upset. He could catch her scent but noticed it was faint.

Birdsong
[Birdsong let out a low hiss, sadness overwhelming her.
Why am I doing this to myself? It's basically torture.
Because, Birdsong, you do not fully understand how to let cats go. Here, let me help...
She smiled slightly, remembering his kind words as he helped her get over the loss of her parents. They had just been apprentices then, but he was already mature beyond his years.
Birdsong sighed.
C'mon, Birdsong! Sitting at his grave isn' going to help!
She rolled her eyes and stood up, before starting to run. Birdsong ran across the moor, from one border to the next, not stopping, needing to get something out, needing to feel something other than what she had been feeling the last couple weeks.
Suddenly, Birdsong stopped. She looked around, slightly confused. Birdsong was alone. She sniffed the air, in search of prey, knowing she might as well be of some use to the Clan.
She quickly spotted a mouse nibbling on a seed and pounced on it, hissing.
When Birdsong arrived at camp, her jaws full of prey, she set it down, grabbed a rabbit, set it down in her corner and stuck her head in the apprentice's den]
"Spadepaw?"
[But her apprentice wasn't there. Birdsong frowned and retreated to her corner, eating the rabbit slowly, her empty green gaze surveying the camp until it came to a stop on Shadow, sitting next to Snowcherry. She rolled her eyes.
Typical. Just typical. A new cat comes to the Clan, he's different, and needs a friend, so- oh look! Could it be? It's super nice she-cat to the rescue! Yuck. Was I really like that? Shame on you, Birdsong. Shame.
There's nothing wrong with being nice.
Oh shut up.
Birdsong took another bite out of her rabbit and gazed thoughtfully at the two cats, wondering if they'd end up together]

Life.
Rosewind lay in the nursery. Thinking, This is what Birdsong went through. She probably was a lot more patient then me, though! It was getting darker, and colder at night now. A cruel winter is coming. I can feel it. A harsh, unforgiving, leafbare. I hope my kits are strong enough to survive it. She was getting quite tired.
A while later, the calico she-cat was asleep. Her eyelids flitting, as if to answer the movement within her belly.
It will make you, or break you.

"Me, training you for fighting and hunting? You sure that's a good choice?"
[Falconstrike growled shortly before getting to his feet, stretching to loosen up his stiff muscles.]
"If you're sure that you're up to it, then sure...though I don't know why you'd ask me to do it. Make sure you can keep up..."
[Without even waiting for Iceears's response, Falconstrike turned around and started to head towards the edge of camp, not really caring whether or not Iceears would follow.
