Are of pure intent, I think they might cut him some slack as it wasn't subversively intended. Although more to the point? No one has prepared themselves for bear combat yet? Hrm... shame... Anyways obscure oatmeal reference aside? Gratitude for warm community greeting (or at the least three people being hospitable?) I wanted to get some opinions here. I really want to run a table top game of star wars. It might be a while before I can do so as the day in question to do so has been met with... not good... The straight through the bush as opposed to around? I want to see what people think of me running a star wars game here. I kind of want to style it after table top. Unless people really do want to do table top, but more importantly I've a few lessons I've learned from the internet. Beyond 34 is still raping my head (M*A*S*H!? REALLY!? YAOI EVEN!? >_< NOOO!) That a star wars RP, no less one focused on jedi, must be met with trepidation. To elaborate? Well it generally becomes a pissing match (OVER NINE THOUSAND!?). As arrogant as this sounds I'd also like to propose try outs in the same fashion the guild leader was pimping vi fighting contest. First a series of solo encounter, then a group encounter. Just to judge how the players handle combat.

Also another chord I'd like to strike is I avoid using George's name in hallowed or hushed tones. I think he's the worst thing to happen to star wars, period. It's been the collaborative efforts of the Star Wars community making it what it is today, in spite of fat trundling bearded sack of- well? I just plain don't like George Lucas. So my star wars has a darker western feel to it? Things arn't as simply clear, droids deal with slavery issues and the over used theme of defining humanity; combat has a touch of brutal 40k feel, light sabers are magnetised streams of plasma scoring flesh and evaporating bloods into coppery smelling clouds of ruffuse, blasters hitting unarmored flesh? generally end in scorching rail gun sized holes, in space people can't hear you scream, reactors don't always go critical (In real space combat the hull would crack and it's contents would bleed out like... well it has a much more naval feel to it.); the outer rim is played out kind of more with a joss whedon fire fly feel; george's pokemon have a smidge more dignity and are used more appropriately than that fat hairy troll's desperate grabs for attention. In other words? I feel as aesthetically? I've made a few improvements. Anyways ignore the run on, it's more emotionally charged than I appreciate. I'm also getting back into writing after a bit of a hiatus. Which is delicious, a crisp autumn day and some such other- I'll avoid my crass nature for now. It's a bit obtuse and a rough fit for people who don't actually know me.

Anyways thoughts? Sorry if I massively derail the topic btw, if need be I can re appropriate this post to someplace else more appropriate?

A lone figure meandering across one of the foot-bridges becomes visible as the lightning strikes various rods, the brief flash illuminating the sheer opaque flesh of a person. Wandering; a wraith amidst the normally bright surroundings, the figure approaches the cafe as if it were the beacon of hope it had been seeking all along.

Gradually, she trudges towards the porch, exhaustion lurking within her mind as she's seemingly oblivious to Wolfy's presence before stumbling, her footing having been slightly off-path. Just before she manages to receive a face mask from the generous and thickly laced muck, she avoids her fate barely, saving herself using her hands. Now wrist deep in the mud and almost laying down upon it, she rights herself slowly, pulling her hands out with a resigned sigh as she tries to rid them of the clammy dirt that encases them. Realising it's a futile task, she instead smears it onto the legs of her trousers, its worn and tattered appearance steadily deteriorating further.

Temporarily satisfied, she maneuvers her way closer to the porch without any more mishaps. Still aware of her rather unappealing appearance, she begins to wring her auburn hair free of the clingy moisture and leans slightly away so as not to besmirch the porch. Just before stepping onto the porch, she slips one bare foot from within a thick mud-cased leather boot, her small foot barely touching the surface as she frees the other. When she stands on the porch, her features become more visible as she scrapes her dripping hair into a slightly more manageable ponytail to stain the thin cloth that was presumably a loose shirt before the shower she'd just experienced.

A shiver runs through her child-like body as a clash of thunder echoes in the skies and nibbling on her lower lip, a tentative tread is taken up as she creeps closer to the cafe doors, her boots abandoned just at the base of the porch steps; out of the way of travelling feet or paws. Her downcast gaze watches the space recede with each step and only the slight murmurings of 'cat' and 'nuisance' float upon the air, unimpeded by the babbling cascade of the rain.

Yeah, hopefully I'll have my computer this week end and then I'll start on stuff. I could prolly use some help too. I need to construct a jedi temple with nothing but words and small pictures doing it no justice. Then promptly wreck it.

Well I have order 66 in mind. Doing saga edition table top might be really interesting too. It's my favorite star wars edition so far.
