Core hugged Travis tightly as she thought about his words. Truly there was nothing in the world she wanted more. It was then an image of her old pal, her shape-shifting friend passed in her mind. Though, here with Travis, she forgot Kara.
(( No seriously , what do you want to do ? I`m totally stumped o . o ))

Rizu sat perched silently on a random fire escape. This city was getting the better of him. Already now he had gone through two pack mates and one room mate, he was left homeless yet again, and even still he had never managed to really find a reason to still be here. It was times such as these that he cursed the immortality that forced him into a never ending state of jadedness. What was the point of life when you have experienced more than one man should ever dream of obtaining? He had literally appealed to each of his senses to the fullest and now felt as though he was not living, but merely existing in time. What was left for him to do? The trivial purists of man did not even reach the brim of his interest. Go get a job? Why? The only thing that he needed to maintain himself was a constant source of meat, which he had no problem getting in this over weight city, and besides.
He had no official records to speak of, technically speaking he did not even exist, or at least not for the past fifty years or so. For once he actually understood why some of the cities dark inhabitants sometimes came off as overly aggressive, resorting to violence and physical altercations at a whim, it was not in their nature hell it was not even in their blood. One would expect that after so much time of life that the need for violence would have been irrationality.. No..
It was not by nature that we fight and kill, it was out of boredom, it was for excitement. It was for the thrill. They now lived in a world where if one chose to they could get their fill of blood and meat without even raising a fang to fight for it. Rizu shook his head. What happened to the proud and noble wolf pack? what happened to the days when a pack of six, ten, twelve, roamed the lands demanding respect and pride with their nose held high to the skies. Those days where over. Rizu reached to his side and pulled out his gun, resting it on his knee. "The ******** is this anyway.."
Fighting with UV bullets? What the ******** happened to the honorable battles? Specialized weapons to kill each other. Where the wolves no better than the cold blooded ones? Rizu picked his gun up and emptied one of the clips into a brick walls. All over its solid red color a blue florescent light glowed. "Pointless"

"What is on your mind Miss Rathobee?" Travis asked already knowing what she thought in her head.
"perhaps we should go somewhere where you can relax and empty your mind. I sense your happiness but theres more in your head than that, perhaps sorrow and longing for someone who meant a lot to you?" Travis probed to get Core to talk.

"I don't know where she went," answer Core honestly. "Her mind was constantly wandering, and eventually, even though I was there with her, she wasn't. Maybe she was pondering in thought, but in some ways I think it was more."
Taking a step back, Core looked down and away from Travis. "I wouldn't particularly like to go into it anymore."

Sat quietly on top of a rather tall skyscraper, she mused to herself as she surveyed the city with her cold blue eyes. She had been away for far too long and had been drifting in and out of deep sleeps. The worst thing about being immortal to her was living forever. To many that prospect was something they craved, but to Rikku? She felt lonely. All her 'friends' had slowly but surely withered away and she'd had to witness it. To her that was painful. And she had to live with it.
Watching the moon in the sky, she almost looked as if she was glowing in it's light - her skin so pale it had almost no colour to it. Her mind drifted back to years before. She was fast approaching the age of 700.. But could she remember her former years? Slightly.. With all the deep sleeps she'd been taking her memories had become patchy.
Closing her eyes, she smiled very slightly as she felt the breeze on her face. It was a warm summers night, summer was her favourite season. Seeing as she was cold blooded, she enjoyed the warmth of the summer months, and with New York as it was, the heat tended to last longer. She was dressed in a light blue vest which hugged her rather petite frame, and a pair of dark blue jeans. She was slowly understanding the modern world - fashion trends and the like but she still found that she was constantly behind. Technology still eluded her though. Being from a time where the computer was not even a concept, she found it hard to cope with the sudden introduction of the device, and regards it as evil in some respects.
Tucking her auburn hair behind her ear, she drew her knees to her chest as she rest her chin on them. She wondered about the coven, the elders. She'd been away so long she wondered if the New York coven was even still in existence. Maybe..

Core looked up to the sky to see Rikku, one of the vampire elders. Letting go of Travis's hand, she quickly sprinted across the bare street. Reaching the towering building the elder stood on, Core leaped to a window. Easily pulling herself into a handstand, she looked back down at Travis and smiled sincerely. Pushing herself off she lithely jumped up to the top, golden brown hair blowing. She tilted her crown back up on her head, and smiled at the elder. Her attire featured a silk black long sleeve top, shoulders and collarbone exposed. Her pants were slim cut formal trousers. Stylish, she smiled in a near childish manner to the older vampire. Her white beaded anklet, featuring a cross jingled as she walked towards the other girl. "Fine evening?" she asked.

Her gaze not leaving the moon, she nodded slightly. It was indeed a fine evening, but one of many thousands she had seen in her long life. She could tell she was in no danger, the person who had approached her was one of her own kind. A vampire.. One of the damned. So she still seemed rather relaxed. Her head slowly turning towards the newcomer, her eyes were icy blue and almost had a slight glow to them. "Only downside about the summer months is the lack of darkness.. I believe the sun will rise in a few hours, I should perhaps move on.." She mused, her accent still thick and French. That was one thing she'd managed to hold on to.

Core's smile faltered slightly, and she looked wistfully at the elder. "But hours," she said, "makes it so far away." Core red eyes became wise as she spoke, walking slowly towards the elder. Her smile lifted again, fangs showing. "Why not hunt while we can," Core asked, invited the other girl to some fun.

Slightly transfixed by the eyes, she tilted her head to the side gracefully, her shoulder length auburn hair dropping as she did. She'd had it loosely tied, but it didn't bother her. "I 'ave not fed in so long.." She mused. Her skin showed that fact, she was almost glowing. She'd been sleeping so long that it didn't really occur to her to eat.

Core mouth lifted up in one corner, a single fang showing. "And you did say we have hours...." she mentioned quietly, knowing that Rikku would hear her. Core spun through her mind quickly, and remember a prostitute house near by. Those victims would not be missed, and were typically easily to get to. Her smile widened and her oval eyes closed, looking at Rikku. She then turned and easily walked off the edge of the building, falling down onto the empty street below. Looking up, she wondered if Rikku would follow her.

In deep thought, she was trying to remember the last time she had managed to feed. She'd gone so long without blood she hardly craved it any more - she felt no need for it. After all, she was still alive. But like any vampire, she knew the desire for it would take over before long. Slowly moving towards the edge of the building, her eyes fell on the other vampire, watching as she crouched on the edge. She'd watch the other for now. She wasn't entirely sure if the smell of the blood would send her into some form of rage.

Core blocked the moonlight from her eyes with one hand, looking up at the Elder. No, then? she thought. Strolling down the street, she didn't mind. Clasping behind her back, she enjoyed simply listening to her anklet's beads clang against each other and the cross as she walked. Reaching her destination, she turned to the alley behind. Noticing a petite blond girl crying, she crouched down, pretending to be concerned. "Are you alright?" Core asked, seeming to have genuine feelings for the human. "I-I just got fired," the girl admitted, looked out at the street. She couldn't handle to meet Core's eyes. Even if the girl did, she wouldn't notice the red irises, for Core had hidden them skillfully behind her bangs. "Oh, that's a shame,"Core started, putting on hand on the girl's knees. Subtly, she leaned in, and place her other hand on the girls mouth. Gently, she bit into her neck, and drew blood. Should I kill her? asked a voice in the back of her head. Core was uncertain whether the blond should be left alive or not.

Rogue walked out into the street and started walking. "You look magnificent. Stop fussing." She smiled but did not look behind her. Rogue looked to the roof to her left, then to her right, as they moved past the demolished area. Guards of hers were posted, monitoring...always monitoring. Nothing was new to them. She moved on.
"I never have begun to understand the food of these times. You can have practically anything in America, but the food is...death in a processed pouch, ready to be heated up in the microwave. There is no art and no love of conversation amidst humans. Everything is now...no wonder people are offing themselves at alarming rates."
They passed a crowd of folk walking to Las Noches...at least dressed to go to Las Noches. A lot of people that entered usually did have a death wish. They were easy targets, and any vampire knew that.
She continued onward and lit a cigarette hearing the click of Lily's heels. "There is so much that even my human self does not understand anymore in this world...as if I ever did." Rogue heard a loud noise from an alley they were passing and only slightly she crouched and whipped her head to the side at an inhuman speed checking for any threat. Nature was imbedded too deeply.
"Do you smell the dog?" There was a lycan in the dumpster, turning, no doubt. There was a popping of bones and a loud panting and short cries. The dumpster had been kicked and the sound was the reverberating emptiness of the steel, vibrating. A human woman was passing, and trying not to pay attention and walk with confidence.
"Miss..." Rogue called after the woman. "I don't suppose I could use your phone? My friend here is from out of the country, and I left mine in the cab. I'm just going to call another cab if that is alright?"

Lily trotted behind her, a smile crept on her face with the compliment.
"I keep my human self buried deep inside, it works best for me when she's there."
She laughed, throwing her head back and trying to feel her lungs. They never did get much use anymore.
"Too much philosophy, too much thought now-a-days. I've been living in "the now" everyday for centuries. The less you think, the more you leave up to instincts...the more you learn about yourself. My random thought of the day...use it as you wish," she smiled and noted the lycan. She put up her defense wall, just to be on guard, but still mustered an awkward smile at the woman to try and backup Rogue's story.

Rogue smiled politely to the woman. Even when shielding her true power and presence of her aura, Rogue still was...striking. Beautiful, sharp, and deadly. Some instinct in humans knew deep down, even with the dampening of her true presence. If she were a wolf, she imagined herself an alpha. For some reason people followed her...even when she was at the bottom of vampire society as a newborn...regardless of bad choices she could and did make.
"It will only take a second. I do apologize for bothering you." As the woman nodded politely and began to dig through her purse, Rogue felt her fangs begin to elongate in her mouth and her eyes begin to glow aflame...a soft emerald glow in the dark of the street.
She moved with superhuman speed behind the woman and put an ironclad hand over her mouth and whispered into the woman's ear. "Do not worry. It will be quick." Rogue used her mental prowess to put pressure on the woman's mind and made her black out. In a delicate motion she leaned the woman back and cradled her in one arm, and bit into her neck.
The blood washed over her system, cascading and replenishing everything it touched. Like lemonade on a hot day, she quenched a thirst that should not be known to any creature.
She finished quickly and quietly without spilling much blood at all. The lycan was finishing his transformation in the dumpster. Maybe it was his first time. She smiled at the thought, a toothy grin as she licked her teeth and lips and setting the woman onto the ground quietly.
