Ravi simply shook his head. "You see what's happened to you? Now you use that calm and careless attitude with even me! I was the only one who understood you..I saved you,gave you eternal life...and how do you repay me!? By running off right when I take my eyes off you..." he paused,taking a deep breath,also placing a hand under her chin and forcing her to look at him. "But,I am proud of you. You obtained more power,just like I told you. You took the first chane you found,and might I say you've gotten lucky. Got rid of Damon with this power. Showed others not to cross you...But you messed up...You forgot about ME. Now,I'm sure you must've felt a small reminder everytime you went out...BUT OBVIOUSLY YOU IGNORED IT! I made you,and no matter where you hid I always found you.Lurking in the shadows,watching from afar. I saw what happened that night you took that liquid..I saw you atop the statue of Liberty. Running into that lycan,going into the sewers..I saw it all..and I planned while watching...waiting for this specific night...The anniversary of your changing." he said,a maniac gleam in his eyes. "Oh,yes...Jagger you are going to die tonight. I wouldn't let some worthless poision finish you off,I just needed you weak."

As the double decker bus rounded the corner Travis noticed a familiar energy. He searched back and fourth until he seen Jagger with a vampire that went by the name of Ravi. In Jagger was a sharp silver object, in Ravi was the hatred and malice of a betrayal....this is new, psychic vampire afraid of another vampire so much that it has to attack when its at its weakest. Ravi, I know you more than you think, this is quite disappointing....Travis spoke through thought to Ravi as the bus continued to drive by. As much as Travis wanted Jagger dead, he thought it was rather dishonorable for one to attack her whens she was weak. Travis looked at Core sitting lively next to him to see if she noticed the brutal attack on Jagger.

Jagger sat there,not needing to breath. Her eyes looked from Ravi's moving mouth to his raging eyes,her jaw clenched. She felt her composure slipping as he rambled on. Her body began shaking,wanting to release the anger that was quickly building up. She could feel her fangs tearing into her gums,drawing blood. Then,she snapped.
"JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE WATCHING DOESN'T MEAN YOU KNOW WHY I DID IT!!!!!!" she roared,her voice echoing down the alley. Her eyes blazing,she firmly grasped the silver stake piercing her chest,then,in a swift movement,she ripped it from her flesh,several growls escaping her lips. Blood spilled from her chest,but she could feel the skin regenerating already. Without hesitating,she opened her mouth wide then slipped the stake to the very back of her throat. She was looking for a specific spot,and soon found it. She quickly slit a long cut across it then let the stake fall from her hand. Jagger leaned over,clutching her stmoach as green slime was forced out of her body. The slime oozed it's way from her mouth until a small green organ found it's way out. The slime was giving off a bitter energy,causing it to glow a faint yellow.
Jagger's breathing had become heavy,blood streaming from her mouth as she faced Ravi,noticing the astonishment in his eyes. "Now,my power is gone." she said,her voice hoarse,not knowing Travis and Core were anywhere near them.

Core swung her feet happily, as she watched Travis fade out on the distance. A small rush of air caused her to turn, coming face to face with a smiling Travis. "So that's where you went," noted Core happily.
The smile faded from her face, and her eyes became wide. One hand reached up to cover her face in shock as she witnessed Jagger curled over an organ, a gaping wound in her torso.

Travis pulled Core in close and pressed her close to her chest as he watched Jagger bleeding over an organ. The bus continued on, as much as he wanted to jump off and stop what was going on he had to make sure Core was to safety...

Ravi's eyes widened as he watched Jagger,disbelief written all over his face. He stumbled back,shaking his head. The slime was horrific and revolting. "Dimitri,you can't get rid of power such as that by simply gagging it back up..." he insisted,using her real name. With a firm hand,he quickly revealed another stake from inside his pocket. "I'm saving you once more." he sighed. He lunged at Jagger with incredible speed,aiming for her heart once more.

Core watched with dismay as a shadowed figure appeared above Jagger. She felt Travis's solid arms lock around her, and she gave no resistance. Eyes wide, she quietly gasped as the figure lunged for the bleeding vampire.
Her line of vision was barricaded as the bus rounded a corner, the front of an apartment building cutting her off.
"What just happened?" she asked quietly, almost rhetorically.

"It seems as if Jagger had turned her back on the wrong vampire...unfortunately there are a lot of unforgiving creatures. Ravi was the one who turned Jagger, he feels that because he turned her that he is her master and she must do as he wishes. Reality is, we are still our own individual no matter who turns us." Travis paused, imagining what could possibly be happening at this very moment...
"Its unfortunate that such a powerful vampire like Ravi demerits himself with such an unhonorable act. He was afraid of Jaggers new found power, but in being a psychic vampire you must not be afraid of anyone....in all reality a psychic vampire is the weakest of its kind, yet with the power of mind and the ability to see what lies ahead before it happens makes us stronger than any other vampire. I had my opinions and thoughts on Ravi, him being a strong and merciless vampire. Now I know he is just another wretch that lurks in the shadows, preying on the weak for the fear of losing your own life. Ravi cherishes his immortality, more than any vampire. This is dangerous because he will stoop as low as to wait to kill a vampire at its weakest state to prevent the risk of losing his life. Lets hope that this conflict is solved for the better." Travis looked at Core and smiled...
"No need for worries, you are safe now." Travis smiled at her as he looked into her eyes.

Jagger's arm quickly met the stake. She let out a loud demonic cry as the stake slipped into her slender arm. She shoved Ravi's hovering body once more,the stake ripping away as well. "You're as much of a monster as me,Ravi...I mean,you made me of course." she said. Rising to her feet,she staggered a bit,one arm limp at her side, another wiping the blood from her mouth. "You don't own me anymore...So I don't need saving." she growled,her eyes glowing a firece silver.She was amazed though,just getting rid of the organ allowed her real eyecolor to resurface
Jagger could feel her body weakening from the stakes. She knew she'd die if she didn't get away soon. Now,she needed a plan for two different outcomes. If she stayed to fight,what would she do? Or if she escaped,how would she do it? She was torn between two and was unsure which was the better choice. Guess this is the part where I admit I regret not keeping a psychic vampire by my side.she thought with a laugh,despite her situation. "Forgive me for being so thoughtless all this time." she said with a smile.

Ravi held a calm composure as he watched Jagger dodge the second stake. His eye twitched slightly as she rose to her feet. She had to be in the most horrible pain anyone had ever known. "You must've forgotten how to keep your mouth shut over the centuries..." he paused,taking a deep breath. "I must admit,though,I am quite amazed that you are still moving and can also hold such a calm expression. I mean after two stakes,Dimitri? No vampire has ever heard of such a thing. But,this just proves you need my saving..If I don't do it,then who will? Are you just going to walk th Earth,waiting for the others to capture you and do test,take samples? You'll become an experiment for Vampires. They'd see what was in your blood,find the power you held along with many otherworldly things...I can't let that happen to my precious kitten." he said,his eyes pleading her to understand the fake reason. He couldn't allow her to live,no matter how much he wanted her to. His feelings for Jagger were too strong to ignore and that night when he had seen her and the hunter he made this descision. "You won't live without me,Jagger. And seeing as you don't want to live WITH me...I have no other choice but to throw you out of existance!!!!" He lunged at her,his strong hands reaching for her throat.

In one quick movement,Jagger brought her leg up,kicking Ravi's strong stomach. "If you want to kill me,you're going to have to try a little harder than that." she said with calm voice. Then,she elegantly began running up the brick wall behind her,and quickly ran across the several roofs of the surrounding buildings. Her body was shaking,blood dripping down her chest. She had to find somewhere to rest.

"I know," said Core. She always felt safe around Travis, and she knew with their powers combined they could easily defend themselves.
"Who turned you, Travis?" she asked. Everything she mentioned about how Ravi had become a ruthless vampire, turning on his creation, essentially, had shaken her. She cared deeply for Benjamin. At least, when there still was a Benjamin.

Travis held a straight face at Cores probing question, memories flooded into his thoughts...his lips parted to speak, but he paused and stood silent. He zoned out as the memories flashed in his mind, causing him to stiffen and hold his breath. He began forcing the thoughts back out and snapping out of his zombie like state...
"A young widow who was unable to bear children, her name was Evelyn..." Travis looked down at Core and forced a smile onto his face.

Core lay down on the top of the bus, legs still dangling off the end. Staring up at the stars, she tilted her head one way. "Was she nice?" Core asked in her way of wanting to know Evelyn's personality. This was an aspect of Travis she's never known, and was quite curious.

Ravi was on his feet in seconds,but was too late.Jagger had already reached the top of the building. He leaped to the roof then paused. His ears twitched as he heard the faint drip of her blood. With a smirk,he stood on the edge then stepped down,landing on a red bus,as if it were casual. He glanced behind him,realizing he wasn't the only passenger on the roof. With a nod as a greeting,he sat down. Though his expression was calm,in his mind he couldn't help but feel they seemed familiar then immediatly ignored it,focusing his task at hand.
