Evilweirdo 0 APH-Fem Canada-APH Bounce around some ideas, eh? Hmm . . . How about making a Tales of Series High School RP? I actually have a full-on Tales-style storyline in mind, hence the input; getting people invested helps make a successful game, so that probably applies to RPs too. That also sounds interesting, though. Anyway, if I ever do start up "Tales of Spectralia," I'll probably use the forums or even a new guild so as to cast a wider net. Come to think of it, if I do, remind me to advertise this guild. I'd rather like a Radiant Mythology-type RP, actually. Various Tales characters and OCs in an original setting would be cool. I once had an idea for a lighthearted, spoofish one called "Tales of the World: Gaia On The Line." You'd pretty much be your avatar as a Tales character. 'Twould be silly. I kinda got the idea from watching and playing the ToS games that allow DLCs. One of the many DLCs is the 'school uniform' skin. I was thinking of having a Tales of Series High School, where it's a friggin' huge high school with the Tales characters as either students, teachers or other faculty. And I mean it'll be huge, almost university-sized. At the moment, they're working on installing the Zestria Wing and House. The characters from each Tales game belongs to a certain house which they represent, for instance; Lloyd Irving would be part of the Symphonia House/Wing and so on. Characters will go through the usual high school drama, but also tend to duke it out in the corridors with artes and abilities. Teachers and other faculty can also fight too, especially when they're breaking up fights that go out of hand. Despite the high school being 'balls to the walls' hectic, they share the same classes (some of them devoted to artes or combat), teachers, promenade, cafeteria, gymnasium, clubs and so forth. There's also a tournament at the end of the semester where all the houses compete for the honour of Head House; a title that grants them VIP privileges for the next semester. Sorry if I kinda thought this out beforehand. sweatdrop

Basically, (minus all the HP references) but you can get attacked by monsters, or they use captured monsters in some combat classes. However, while we're on the subject of Harry Potter, I have to ask the following question: WHY HAVEN'T THEY MADE 'THE MAGICAL SCHOOL GENRE' AN ACTUAL GENRE?! I know there are school and fantasy genres in storytelling that are well-rooted in the art of the narrative, but why haven't they added the magical school genre to this? Harry Potter was and is the genesis of this revolution, but there are so many that follow the magical school genre out there! Zero no Tsukaima, Soul Eater, RWBY, etc. follow this style, so why haven't they acknowledged it as a distinct genre?

Oh, I almost forgot to add this in when I was discussing the Tales of Series High School:
Since a lot of the characters in the Tales games are too young to be in high school, there's also a middle school on campus called Tales of Series Middle School. Middle school students can enter the high school grounds to attend special classes or on their free time. The middle school doesn't have houses or wings like the high school, since it's relatively small. However, they do act as supporters for the different wings or houses they would like to join when they're of age. Of course, middle schoolers do get into fights when s**t hits the fan, but they'll get detention if they're caught doing that within the high school or if a high schooler is caught fighting someone from the middle school.
