40km is not bad, I'm about 30km. But national park close by is bad, all the dry leaves in summer... gonk

A bit of sad news for me: I found out my grandma died two weeks ago after a long painful struggle with some sort of cancer. My mum had to spend a week over there preparing the rituals for her burial. Even then, she hasn't received a formal funeral, so it is likely my whole family will have to go back to China next year to farewell her for good.

dang i had wanted to post stuff in this thread.

anyways.
so i found out last week or so that one of my really good girlfriend's boyfriend well they broke up cause hes (thinks of appropriate way to say) well whatever he was dealing drugs out of her house, and he cheated on her twice and gave her HPV.. o.O not the cervical cancer kind, a less serious strand but seriously WTF. and he just disappeared as in hes jumping from friends house to friends house and no one will give him up so he won't even own up to what he did or anything. (and she made him get checked out before they were together so it was from the two girls he cheated on her with, which she didn't know about and wouldn't of if his sister didn't tell her to get herself checked out.. oh and he has herpes now too) (they were using protection the whole time too.... gonk )
aghh. men... DX scream

I went to a nightclub recently. It had been a while since I last walked into one. Well, the one I went to the other day had the music on and pumped up. The floors were shaking, the flat surface of my phone in pocket felt like it was vibrating.
I swear, having noise at that high of a Decibel probably damaged my ears. I couldn't hear people 30 cm away from me, and vice-versa. After leaving the building, all the sounds from the streets were muffled. And I couldn't speak properly due to the stress on my throat from shouting to everyone whom I wanted to talk inside.
Heh heh, long story short: I've re-affirmed the reason behind my staying away from clubbing.
