So MTV is making a "remake" of Teen Wolf that looks like a mix of Smallville and one of those teen vampire shows.....I think I'm going to puke.

Anyone check out the Firebreather movie? I though it was pretty good. I hope it bost the sales of the comic, and leads to more movies.

So, the Sons of Anarchy finale was amazing. Bittersweet, because I have to wait a year for so more SoA, but still amazing. Here's hoping Sunday's offerings for Dexter and The Walking Dead are as impressive.

Wow. I don't know how I missed that. I've read Hell's Angels twice this year.
In other news, I've chosen to fill the void left by the endings of SoA, Walking Dead, Dexter and Burn Notice by starting to watch Mad Men. Best TV related decision I've made since I started Buffy.

Because he's completely unrecognizable. I saw his name in the opening credits, but I had to IMDB him later to figure out just where the ******** he actually appeared. Also, why am I not seeing Boardwalk Empire in your viewing list?

I knew he had his vocal cords removed, so that should've been a tip off.
I watched the premiere of Boardwalk Empire back when it came out, but I figured it'd be a show that would benefit from watching it in digest, so I've been waiting for the season to finish. The premiere was extremely good, though.

Nick Joseph Fury I knew he had his vocal cords removed, so that should've been a tip off. I watched the premiere of Boardwalk Empire back when it came out, but I figured it'd be a show that would benefit from watching it in digest, so I've been waiting for the season to finish. The premiere was extremely good, though. I wasn't aware of that fact because the only pictures I've seen of him are the ones in his books that I haven't read yet. My obsession with organized crime will get there some day though.
As far as Boardwalk Empire goes, well yeah the premiere was directed by Martin Scorcese. For me it started to lag a bit in episodes three to about six and then things started roaring again. Michael Shannon is absolutely positively the NEXT BIG THING. 2010 was the year of his arrival (also My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done and The Runaways) and he's going to just blow up huge now. An Oscar nomination under his belt and work with Scorcese, Herzog, and Lynch all in the same year can only lead to bigger and better.

If you have not seen True Grit yet and haven't made plans to rectify that, well you've made yourself some bad life decisions.

And while you're at the theater, see Black Swan. Aronofsky does Polanski and Portman gives the best performance of the year, and her career.
But yeah, True Grit is really damn good. Bridges, Damon and the Coens are all at the top of their game, and any of those on their own is usually a sight to behold.

Watching True Grit and Tron Legacy on consecutive nights is a really weird experience. Black Swan is the last on my must see list, but I would still like to catch 127 Hours, The King's Speech, and The Fighter for posterity. I pretty much conquered 2010 as far as movies go.
