((*Faceplants.* I finally return and what do I get smack in my face...Oh well, it's post time!))

Skiiy shakes his head. "This is nothing like flying by your own power. It is many times more magnificent to just flit up the breeze by the strength of your own wings than to ride the back of another. Of course, I do not have wings here, but the concept is basically the same, it just takes a little more energy and a little less breathing. We'll be landing soon, could mean a bumpy ride, so hold on tight." Skiiy feels the need to point this out because the dragon has begun angling itself downwards to land in the castle. "This is about to get very interesting..."

Kakashi was about to respond to Mairyela concerning her comment when he practically jumped out of his boots as another bubble of Alina's popped next to his ear! "Blood and bloody ashes woman!" Grumbling to himself he shook his head and looked to Mairyela and grinned a bit. "Alina says that her and Skiiy will be landing soon." Just then, the second bubble burst next to his ear and he jumped again. "Little one? What in the light does she mean by that? I'm taller!"

Alina didn't have to do very much, as the Raken insticutally made a beeline for the castle. Looking down she saw the cart top the rise. "i think we shouldnt go into the castle just yet..." she mumbled. seeing a nice patch of land to land on, she angled the Raken that way. As they touched ground she undid the harnesses keeping her on the beast. Looking at Kakashi she said "i dont know if i want to do that agian..." she slid of the animal and onto the ground, her knees wobbling as she walked over to Kakashi.

((Argh, I hate midterm week!))

Mairyela watched as the Rakin landed in a patch of grass nearby. Reigning the cart towards the beast, she stopped it behind a tree, hidden from the castle windows. Watching Alina dismount, she heard her comment and smiled to herself. She was just glad the two had had a safe ride. She was certain Skiiy could take care of himself, but Alina was still an Accepted. She had been a bit worried to say the least.

Walking over, she laid her hands on her hips, the old fabric of her borrowed gray dress feeling worn and alien to her usual blue one. "I think it would be best to follow the plan we have. Skiiy can sneak us inside without much suspicion in the Rider's armor, then we merely have to search out the Empress. Being Aes Sedai, I think it's our only option." I also hope Raznon is faring well...she thought.

Turning to Alina, she gave her a smile. "I think now would be a good time to change into a more suitable dress." she said, eyeing her novices dress. "There are still a few left to choose from."

*Raznon finally made his way through the plains. He had been traveling for days now...for about 3 sunrises if his memory was correct. He seemed to be getting closer to this odd scent and soon he found it. He did not like what he saw either. At this village there was no erie silence, no empty houses, nothing was hidden. Blood, bodies, and fire was everywhere, the thick scent all around him. He felt a bit dizzy but shook it off and soon found out the cause of this destruction. There was a multitude of men carrying those blades...swords...most seem to be nothing more than young men. Raz took a quick count that would not be entirely accurate but his guess was atleast 30,000 men. He didnt really see that many...but his senses told him there were a lot more than there should be. He began to realize that him and his counterparts so to speak, had come at an inopportune time. Raz soon dismissed this and then went to work on finding his Dark One. He soon picked up the scent and was disturbed by what he found again. His...brother...of sorts was traveling with this band. He went back to the village and began to look for those of the band that must have died doing this. All Raz could find was arrows and villagers. He then realized what was going on and why there were no men from that band here. They were using the Dark Brother to kill the villagers then showering the village with arrows to make sure they were dead. He left the village and made his way to the front of the band unnoticed. He saw that most of these people that...well men...were a ragtag bunch to begin with and that they could be swept aside with any of the smaller Clans. He shook his head and watched for this brother that pulled him so much. He found what he was looking for as was enraged at what he saw. He did not know much about these dark hounds but he did know one thing, they were not held in cages by ordinary men. He would wait until night fall to do what he must and he would be patient. What Raznon did not realize was that his comrades had been in the Crystal Palace for an entire day and he was only a couple of miles from there...well...for an Aiel that is.*

((hehe...heres a plot twister folks...i wonder why there is an armed group outside the palace huh? lol hate me!? lol
