Korangar continued to sleep peacefully, largely unaware of anything that was happening around his body. True to his old self, he was likely to sleep until very late morning, if not noon. Sighing quietly, he rolled over so that he was facing toward Rinoa, but remained curled around the crystal. His black hair now had blades of grass clinging to it, due to the morning dew, but his silver bangs flashed brightly, what grass was touching them instantly being burned free, so that the silver was completely pure.

Korangar continued to sleep quite peacefully. Even though he had no actual need for sleep, he quite enjoyed it, as it allowed time to pass without his being aware of anything, which made time seem to go by faster.

Finally waking up, Korangar lay on the ground for a long moment, rolling onto his back and staring towards the sky, keeping the crystal gripped in his hand. Blinking slowly, he only vaguely noticed that Rinoa was not nearby, but for the moment, he did not care to get up, wanting to let his mind linger in the memories within the crystal as long as possible.

Continuing to stare toward the sky, Korangar clutched the crystal. Quietly whispering, his voice was slightly choked as he said, "..I do not understand why we must be apart so long..but...I will stay strong for you, and I will visit as soon as possible.. Time may pass for you much faster than it does for me now.. I wish it were the other way around.."

Staring up toward the sky, his gaze directed well beyond the clouds, his eyes flickered as he waited for even the slightest sign of an answer, but, as with every time he tried to talk to her, he received no answer. Closing his eyes, he released the crystal, using both hands to cover his face as he began to shake, steam managing to escape between his fingers. "..I miss you so....please...answer me.."

He continued to shake for a few moments longer before he finally fell still. Stiffly rising to his feet, he reached up to his shoulder. Unclasping his cloak, he allowed it to fall away from his shoulders. Before it could touch the ground, however, it vanished into a cloud of smoke. His yukata, as well, vanished into a bright blast of fire, leaving him standing still, covered in chains. Tucking the crystal that was attached to one of the chains beneath the thick mesh, he slowly turned his gaze skyward once more. "...I'll still stay strong for you...I must... I have nothing else.."

Flinching slightly when Rinoa spoke up, having been so focused on what he was doing that he hadn't even been aware of her presence. Lowering his eyes from the sky, he looked to her, then nodded slowly. "My rest was pleasant, yes.. Are you ready to head out? We have far to go, yet.."

Shaking his head, Korangar turned to lead the way. "No..water and I are not on the best of terms.. But you shall become aware of that before long." Lifting a hand idly, he pointed skyward. After he had finished with what he had been doing, stormclouds had rolled in, and were now roiling and waiting to spill their load. "Do not follow too close, but also not too far behind." As he started off, the chains near his shoulders shifted position, some of them flowing up to wrap around his head, but not obstructing his hair from blowing in the steady breeze that always came before a storm.
