I just found out about another Radio drama pod cast that is really good.
It's called "Wormwood" (not to be confused with Teplesmith's comic) The story fallows Dr. Xander Crow, a phycologist that had got involved in the occult. After seeing a vision of a drawned woman, he sets off to the small town of Wormwood, where dark secrects lie.
The story is kind of like Twin Peaks, with a character that seem like a mix of David Tennant's Doctor and with a attatude of Dr. Rusty Venture. I'm 10 eps in and I'm really hooked, there are even moments that are quite spooky. It's great stuff.

Re: Smallville
Why didn't this episode happen 4 years ago? It should have happened 4 years ago.

I was wondering, any one know some good 1920's style noir books? It can be either more down to earth noir or more fictional stoires( Like Dictracy or The Spirit).

Anyone who isn't watching No Ordinary Family really should be. It's like the lovechild of the Fantastic Four (or The Incredibles, ha) and the first season of Heroes.
Having watched this week's episode (Mom's parents come to visit, wackiness ensues!)... I think someone made an odd choice about the song for the last scene. I mean, what that has to do with a family drive, I have no idea.
NSFW on the link for language.

No one here likes Glee, especially any supposed leaders of a multinational corporation that uses a flying rodent as a logo. wink

I wanted to know, what's very ones thoughts on The Walking Dead show? Personally, I think they are doing a good job thus far, aside from a few things.
My biggest complaint thus far was the second ep (spoilers in white)
Where Ricks Wife, Lori, and Shane where getting it on, she seem like she couldn't get her cloths off fast enough. Call me crazy be you'd think she would be still grieving for her husband, after leaving him only a few week ago. I just felt like they handled it pretty badly, in my opinion. Because in the comic, it felt more natural since she was vulnerable and Shane acted on it, and it was only a one time thing between them, and even that she felt guilty about. Where as the show almost made it feel like it was "Well Rick's gone, too bad, guess I'll just screw Shane now".
Aside from that I think the show is doing great.

Or, you're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and you cling to whatever fleeting pleasure you can find to escape the brutal reality of it. He's familiar, comfortable, and there. There's a lot of horrific slut-shaming going on about it that just drives me right up the wall so you know it's nice to see that you're able to keep your head on your shoulders about it. And here comes the white text:
Sleeping with Shane doesn't mean that she isn't grieving. The fact that she has the ring around her neck and the way she treats it makes it clear that she is. She's sleeping with him to escape that grief.
Gotta say that despite a slow start, it's a great show and it's breaking important ground in expanding the kind of shows that the producers with the real money are willing to make.

Alas, I do not have cable so I cannot watch the show "live", but I have watched the first two episodes and enjoyed the hell out of them.

It falls into far too many zombie movie tropes for my tastes, but it's still a TV show about a zombie apocalypse, and it's still Darabont, so I'm certainly enjoying it.

The combined effort of David Fincher, Aaron Sorkin and Trent Reznor? You bet. Best movie I've seen in a very long time. Without discounting 127 Hours, Black Swan or True Grit, I think it's pretty much a lock for my movie of the year.
