Harumi would get the little frustrated anime with with the scribble constanly moving around. "......I know where im going nyao.......going over there see nyao." She would begin walking faster and due to her short little size it was like her legs were just shffeling cause the speed she was walking it, but she would never admit to being lost. As she got lost...er she would begin to get the grumpy "harumph" look and this time as she waled she would literaly walk over a bulding useing the wall walking as if nothing happend, right over the top of it and down the other side as if there was no gravity of even a buldign where she walked.

As she did that, Raisuke would pause. He wasn't as fast with jutsu as she was. Those type of things had to come natural for her by now. "Dang woman.. I wonder if she would make it as a ninja without those looks of hers.." He would walk around the building trying to keep up. Then as he got around he would look around hoping to see her. If she was to get lost, he wouldn't know where to find her. Since she was so stubborn that she refused to slow down at all. Man, this might be more trouble than its worth.

She would begin to do the cartton thing, she would scuttle past on a semi close street crossing, then a mere second later she would be at a different one further away. Then agin she would appear walking from one street to another behidne rai, then agin in front of him as well as a little bit furter back. it was ncredibly confusing most likely to rai, how was she so many places at once? she would continue to appear from place to place scuttling past as a pretty fast speed, but if he tried to catch up it was like the instant he tried she was gone already.

How many days had it been...? Three? Four? Shin had lost count...or rather, his body had lost count quite a while back. At some corner of the house, Shin was absent-mindedly mopping the floor - doing quite well in fact to transform the area crystal clean and gradually making his way down the hall. He was getting quite good with maintaining a smile and a level of appropriate cheerfulness whenever Giglamesh was around, so the Chuunin cannot notice the exact extent of his tiredness...and hopefully, hide his apparently growing worry and any lingering evidence of the nightmares that gnaw at every moment of his dormancy. But something about those smiles were different from the rare but of-the-heart previous ones he had displayed...

It was as if Shin had taken an 'appropriate' reaction for a 'standard' situation yet the two pieces of the puzzle still did not fit. There was just something missing, something those new smiles lacked... And though such an expression did suit his handsome features better, still one that was so plastic...it was unsettling. Shin was grateful that he had not seen Cronos or the others yet, he would have no idea on how to hide his recent fragilely balanced state or even more so, to explain it upon inquiry.

Still, Shin would always find excuses to occupy himself with some random chore so that thus far, he and Giglamesh had not shared direct conversation. He grew strangely fond of chores, they did help strengthen his frail physique...but whenever the Chuunin was around, every fiber of his mental concentration would seem to even more fiercely intensify on the task at hand a thousand-fold.

Henka Shizuka

PostPosted: Sun Aug 10, 2008 1:41 pm

"Nee-chan..." She would wake up once more as everything seemed so quiet. "I can show you the way back home, heh...I can't believe you forgot your way home." Shizuka said with a smile on her face. "It's south from the Tsuchikages building, It's the least active clan residence. Hoping you do remember what happened back then when our clan was attacked." The fast movement got her quite dizzy and it made her stomach hurt. "Why were you treating Raisuke like that? Do you hate him or something...?" She asked weakly as her eyes were half open being tired from the day she had. From training to traveling through the dust storm of Iwagakure and enjoying the festival she went to.

That sound. It was a familiar sound that he had grown fond of. He knew he heard Shizuka speak. He would form a hand seal. But this was not one to release chakra, he was concentrating on the vibrations of the sound. Following with his ears where they were bouncing off of. He was trying to track exactly where Harumi was from Shizuka's voice. If he picked it up, he should be able to spot her immediately.

Harumi would simply grin to shizuka wich was on her back. "Nyao (no) I likes messin wit him nyao!" She had a very coy cat like grin on her face as she stood in front of raisuke still stuck in the wall. He had been wondering around in his mind she had caught him in genjutsu as she went up to him to help him out of the wall, she had caught him in the false surrondings technique. It was odd that she enjyoed messing with him this much....but it was entertaning. "YO.......boy!" She would poke him in the head pretty hard and the resulting poke should cause enough of injury to the body to snap him out of the genjutsu. She would be leaned over his body still in the wall grinning madly with a coy cat like grin.

Raisuke would be concentrating. But it was like he was in a pitch black room when he closed his eyes. He could sense nothing. Was there something wrong with him? Then, like a ton of bricks, something hit him in the forehead. He would open his eyes to find himself still in the wall. "What the f.." As he said that he would seen the Henka girl in his face. Then he would look at her funny for a second, knowing he had heard Shizuka's voice he would speak out. "Shizuka-chan, you're awake? I wanted to see to it that you got home okay so I was trying to accompany your sister.."

With a trained eye, one might have been able to see a white flash pass through the streets. Tension emanated from the figure that would be a ghost to the citizens of Iwagakure. The flash of white zig-zagged between people and streets, and in this day's final moments this thing would have what it came for. It headed straight for the Iwakage's office speeding up as it drew closer and closer.

Shin sighed softly, a pale hand shielding his eyes as he glanced upward to check the sun's position to determine what time it was. Fortunately, it was fairly cloudy this high up in the mountains so he did not need to worry about stinging pain as would've occurred if he had done this back at Kiri. About noon... Shin thought distantly. Which meant about time for his self-training.

He glanced backwards at the hallway. He was done and had finished a stellar job as usual. Shin went back to replace the cleaning equipment to where they belonged and removed his rubber gloves. The pale-haired boy then unrolled the sleeves of his yukata, though did not make any movement towards his hair...in a high, long ponytail now so that it would not bother him during chores and cleaning duties. Shin briefly wondered what happened to his old clothes...he would rather prefer not training in yukatas... He had a sinking suspicion Gig might've tossed them out on the justification of shabbiness.

But he decided against asking. It feels strange, this rather too-samurai look...topknot and dark-blue yukata over white pants. It took a bit to get used to sandals again after being accustomed to boots for so long... His black armguards did fit well though with his new outfit...not that Shin could rid the gauntlets for now anyways. Or was that so? His chakra control had improved most admirably...perhaps... No, don't take the gamble. Shin firmly resolved to not formally rid his armguards until becoming Chuunin. A passing shudder as lingering memories of what happened to the captive children the bandits who tried to subdue him returned with a renewed vengeance...

The boy sighed softly, shaking his head. He had been...contemplating more and more on his past recently. While thankfully mentally it had not done too significant damage (or perhaps seemingly, sniffed the boy with slight worry)... Shin knew those memories so well, too well...that they hardly held surprises now... Whether that was a bad or good thing. Physically he seemed well, he no longer looked too suspiciously frail but spiritually it was draining at his energy and nibbling away at his concentration.

Stellar examples would be as Shin found himself grow increasingly furious for not being able to memorize and properly recite Homer, the most recent lyric poet he had taken to studying... How did line 156 of the Odyssey go again...? The boy wondered briefly. Additionally, his attempts at cooking had not proven fruitful as of far. With such detached attention spans, sometimes Shin would distraughtly find himself almost about to add in sugar when a dish required salt, or likewise usage of wrong ingredients...forgetting to peel off the plastic attachment to prepared raw seafood...

In almost a daze...Shin prepared for his daily sneak-out training. Even the thought that 'Keiko-sensei has returned' registered for a suspicious moment too late. But Shin bowed formally, not giving any inkling to his surprise at his own increasingly abridged attention spans. "Welcome back, Keiko-sensei. I-I...am most apologetic for imposing..." But the slightest intonation in his voice betrayed fluster. Shin was planning to take on missions by himself, errands for now to earn money, until he grows eligible for C-rank so that he may save up money for his own apartment... He had always been quite the independent character, the mere reminder that Giglamesh went out of his way just to help him was rather disconcerting. No. Not disconcerting, just uncomfortable. Shin wasn't used to social interaction and that book he was reading, supposedly by one of the best psychiatrist...

It was hogwash. The young Hyouton heir grimly affirmed in his mind. He easily managed a practiced smile though Shin got the feeling Giglamesh didn't like the new smiling masks he seemed to pull over for each 'deemed appropriate' situation...

Giglamesh just looked at shin, he was so quite he was so uncomfortable gig didnt like it but he didnt know what exactly to do to get him to enjoy it it wassnt his best forte. He would have to dwell deeply o this one and even and keiko tried to lighten the mood with him he was still so uptight. Giglamesh would sing and stand and as he walked away he spoke directly to shinratsu. "...So ....you think this is for you?....You think i am allowing you to stay here because you need it?......you have things confused......this issnt for you........this is more for me. I see so much in you, you can become something greater...but with out help you will remain like coal.....over time and pressure you will become a diamond.......but i seek to aid it make you become a diamond faster....you still thinks from what i said that its for you....but the reason why i want you to become like a diamond, is simply to see if i have it within me to see if i can make you blossom in to something greater......i wanted to take you in cause i needed it.....i need more reasons to become stronger, i have what i want yes a beautiful wife and daughter and its more than enough.....alteast i thought it was.......i brought you in because i needed the motivation to become something greater just like i know you can." Giglamesh was incredibly serious as he spoke everthing was the truth no riddle no lies flat out what he thought, he was holding this in since he made shin move in there aparment. Seeing shin all bottled up and quite basicly was slowly diggin and scratching away at gig, it wassent what he wanted he wanted him to be happy somebody cared enough for him to even consider it instead of acting like a caged bird.

Keiko watched Giglamesh, it was speech time, again. She was a little tried, and out of it. She wanted some food, she tried listening to what Giglamesh said, but it just didn't work. After the talking was done she walked over to Shin and gave a big smile. She stood up on her tippy toes and gave him a awkward hug. She gave him a wink and then let go of him, before anything or anyone saw it wrong.

She skipped off to the kitchen to get some food before she fell over from the tiredness. She tipped her head to the all of the things that are in the kitchen, she tried to make sense of what was going on. She looked back to Shin and smiled, "Ah, you had Giglamesh's cooking!" he still looked a little thin and very out of it. She smiled, trying to figure out what was going on with him. She got up on a chair and patted his head. "What's wrong little one?"

"Thank you for watching over Elruda, Gogandantes-san. And...one more thing. My given name is fine." The midnight-haired woman chuckled. She never did like addressing by clan titles, which serves well as confusion when multiple clansmen were present...which made it even more awkward, if not downright uncomfortable. "Come, chiisai-hime. We should get going. Did you remember to thank Gogandantes-san?" The soft smile only became warmer, like their clan's name...truly towards the sun...as Elruda gurgled a 'PHANNK CHUUU', momentarily looking up from her can of ice tea and grinning widely. Then, the two Hyuugas, daughter's hand in mother's, walked down the street before the darker night swallowed their forms.

Sakeme must have taken a small nap while the kid was off and about. The sound of Lady Youko's voice woke her up. Lookinga round, searching frantically for the kid. She got up and hhurridly trailed after them. If she lost the kid... well it wouldn't be good news for her that's for sure.

No words would leave his mouth. Value? Him? Ok...maybe it seems like a ridiculous rhetorical question but...for Shin, value had been only skin-deep until now. The other ancient families of Kiri didn't care for his value as a person, only for the bloodlimit and familial affluence... Shin suddenly felt like he has a grand headache. That...was...why... He had shut himself away from the others not because of a supposed superiority complex but because he had simply, utterly and wholly disliked their ways... Rebel despite claiming strict adherence to rules...how ironic...

Words never did him much justice in conveying emotions anyways and Keiko's inquiry...because it was caring... Because words would not do justice so Shinratsu embraced her suddenly, trying to conjure up an image of his own mother. It was of no use, of course... His clan was doomed to never be able to feel...he doesn't remember what it was like to be embraced by her...except that last cold one as she desperately shielded him during the closing days of her life...from the residual Hyouton onslaught that would have surely taken his life as well.

He wasn't supposed to feel...yet it was comforting. It would take Giglamesh a moment longer to realize Shin was crying. Except it wasn't tears... What a horrible curse. Even the tears that left his eyes becomes like the eternal snow of the tundra. But even the coldest winter subdues to spring...and when they touched his cheeks, they were normal again. Shin's control over Hyouton was changing... "No...nothing is wrong." He whispered. "Proud..." His voice was barely a whisper now. "What I can no longer do for my parents... I'll make you both..."

His voice trailed off but the last word didn't need to be said, because it was already there.
