Well... >~> In just about every game to date so far, I have a bad habit of making friends and joining guilds that... Don't last long... People I friend don't actually come online anymore and guilds tend to fall apart... I swear, it's happened in EVERY stinking MMO I've played... I think I might be cursed... o~o
Anyways, I joined a second guild comprised of people attacking the crafting skills like me. Seems like it might be fairly stable. But we'll see... :/
It doesn't help that I'm slow to accept new friends and find new guilds... Like... Slower than molasses in the arctic slow... >~>

I know that feeling, but with RPs and guilds on here. It happens. A good guild is hard to find. ...Which is why it's great that we've found this one! *does heroic fist-of determination pose with overly-manly tears* crying
But yeah.
EDIT: Hey, I just finished Tales of Symphonia again (Chronicles this time, yes?). It was pretty dang good.
Is it just me, or was Mithos actually kind of a challenge in this version? Maybe I'm just used to having 10x EXP... Also, some people look a bit odd in the art in the credits. Kratos looks like a young whippersnapper!
Man, now I'm getting a bit of that post-Symphonia ennui. I sort of want to move on to another game, but I sort of don't want to yet. It's weird. I feel like I should take advantage of this and go super-productive for a day or two, but who the heck do you think I am? Besides, job interviews and a busy week. I think I'll just chill. ...Come to think of it, why am I giving you guys a full status report? I really shouldn't be bombarding you with everyday life. ...But there's no more Symphonia! Well, there is, but!... You know the feeling, right?

All right, ordering another Tales of Destiny disc online. Here's hoping that this one will work properly! Might have to follow a Tales game with another Tales game far too early for my tastes (who am I kidding? I used to only use the relatively-short Soulcalibur Legends as my Symphonia buffer game, and that had Lloyd in it!), but I'm taking no chances. Fortunately, it's light enough that I could probably just review what happened so far online and continue where I left off.

Why, of course the world is ending. It's going just as planne- I mean, eh? Is that another Cash item that I don't know about?
Speaking of Cash, Gold items are still expensive! Aaah!

I don't like the gold items... :/ I feel like they're going to drive inflation up... I really hope the Gaia staff knows what they're doing...

Are you referring to the gold-generating items, like Make It Rain and the fortune cookies? Yeah, a bit. I was talking about the absurd prices of items that cost gold, though. Costs in the 10+ millions are commonplace now. Man.
We require more currency. I'll go check to see if I have a Blue Sephira hanging around in my inventory. I think I kept it next to the gels. Here's hoping I didn't eat it. That was a joke. Just go replay Mass Effect, self. You've been referencing it constantly.
Has anyone ever quit a guild, explained in thorough detail to the Captain why, and then be invited back into the guild only a few days later like nothing happened? It just happened to me, and it's annoying. -_-*

Ahh, I see... Yeah, I thought you were talking about those... But, it's those exact prices that have me worried about the gold generating items! Maybe I don't understand how an economy works, maybe they're putting out these items because of a deficit of gold in the economy due to the various 'gold sinks', but I have no way to know for sure so I'm left feeling rather uneasy... I'm sitting on a pile of gold (47,899,049) the size of which I've only been up to less than a handful of times since I've been on Gaia, but as things stand, is it really all that much? o~o
Also... Your joke reminds me of the Baby Troll from Runescape... In RS lore, a troll's name is the first thing it eats and you can feed your troll literally anything, even incredibly rare, limited quantity items... I fed mine an event only food item... Fish and Chips... XP So yeah, I'll keep an eye out for any trolls named Blue Sephira...

Charlie Murder is a game [and if you know what it's like then you'll know why I was surprised to find Kitty ears in it...they also come with whiskers]

I just looked it up and it does seem quite surprising. I'm guessing that there's a bit of humor in it, as I don't know if anyone could possibly take it seriously. Humor=Cats. Tada!

Brilliant. We shall obtain twice the currency whenever we encounter random monsters and such.
Anyway, yeah. I can't say I'm an economic expert, but something is messed up here.

Did...they...even put a reason as to why they're inviting you back in? sweatdrop
I'm...mildly curious about the situation. What was this guild and why'd you want out? You don't have to answer if you're not comfortable. :3

Are you talking about the items in Loyal's Bazaar or generally on the Marketplace? I'm confused, whenever I hear "gold items" I think of the ones that are in the NPC-run shops.
High-priced items in the NPC shops are supposed to be a good thing, though...they're out-of-reach to us, but they're meant to drain the excess of gold from circulation.

The reality is that these gold generators are effective in bringing in the profit. That's why they keep releasing them. >_> Users have complained about how prices are so jacked up in the Marketplaces, so Gaia takes advantage of this mindset and produces gold generators to help those willing to bust out a few bucks catch up with these prices. The end result is that this injects waaaaaaaaaay too much gold in the economy, leading to all this hyperinflation. I'm pretty sure it's very clear to the higher-ups what exactly is going on here, but since it rakes in the dough, there's very little desire to stop that.
Hell, I am sitting on over 200 million gold right now and that actually still isn't enough to buy much of what I'd like. A single item can take away half or more of that. lol
Ah, well. As long as they don't make the forums pay-to-use. I'll eventually grow out of this "but I waaaaaaaaaant it" mentality. xd

No, they didn't. It was just their standard invitation. No reason whatsoever. They didn't even bother to change the cause of why I quit.
This is going to sound very selfish of me, and it is, but it's the only way I can participate in certain role plays. I don't know why.
It's a Pokémon role play guild. The guild looked fun, even though it was undergoing reconstruction. But, then I saw the "get your starter" system. Instead of making it optional, they made it mandatory. I quit because I wasn't going to generate a number to see which starter my character would have when I only ever role play with Charmander as my character's starter. It might be because I only use one character in Pokémon role plays now that I think about it, but I'm very picky about the starter he gets. I explained that I'm stubborn about it and I shouldn't be forced to roll for a starter when I know exactly which one I want, then quit.
It's a childish thing, and as I said, it's selfish. But, since I personally don't like Pokémon role plays, I think it's a fair attitude. I adore the games, of course.
Ooh, Septerra Core's in the Steam weekly deals. Didn't Sirea say that that was a good one?

Both, I guess.
That's a good point. I suppose that the high prices are good for that, but they aren't exactly backing that up by cutting down on the gold generators. I assume that you've seen the millionshundreds tens of "Make It Rain/Hurricane" announcements. ...Man, now I feel bad for saving up Daily Treat cash to get such items back in the day (before it was cool before it became uncool again? I don't know.). On the bright side, it's easier than ever to get the Millionaire achievement, I guess?...
Man, a pay-to-use forum would be kind of lame. Okay, very lame, in more ways than one.
