Skyview's optics went wide. At such close range, a blast from Galvatron's ion cannon could easily destroy both leaders. There was the explosion of the cannon, and the entire room shook faintly. "Optimus!?" Skyview shouted.

Nicki covered her head - eventhough her helmet did quite a good job at that. It was just a reaction to the blast...and she slowly looked up, hoping that Optimus had dodged the blast.
Rearbrake and Livewire stared after the blast had occured. A strange black dust filled air where Galvatron and Optimus had been, and made it difficult to see.

Optimus had glared right into the barrel of Galvatron's cannon - and then the blast came. He stepped to the side to try and dodge it, but it didn't help much. Galvatron's shot made contact with his right side, smashing into him painfully and causing his red and blue armor to crack around the right side of his chest.
Optimus was sent back by the force; hitting against the ground with a rumble of movement.
Offroad went rigid, his optics locked onto the smoke cloud that had formed from the ion cannon. Instantly, Offroad began to fear the worse...until -
"Optimus...slag it! You better be alive Optimus! Dont let one shot take you down Prime!"
Kale shouted, holding onto Offroad's finger as he leaned forward to see what was happening.
Optimus heard Kale and slowly got to his feet as the smoke cleared, his blue optics locked on Galvatron as he aimed his gun and fired at the leader several times.

Galvatron was hit multiple times in the chest and had to step back several times to keep his balance. "Fall Optimus Prime, fall! Fall!!!" Glavatron pepared his ion cannon and another shot directed at the wound last inflicted by the previous blast from the ion cannon.

"Go Optimus! Go, go, go!"
Kale yelled. Offroad pulled his hands back closer to his chest, causing Kale to stumble slightly.
"Kid, I know your supporting Prime, but we dont need to attract Galvatron's-"
his voice was cut-off by another blast from the ion cannon.
Optimus stopped dead in his tracks, then dove forward. The blast again skimmed his side, the damage increasing. Optimus saved himself from smashing onto the ground - pulling out of the dive by doing a slight roll and leaping back to his feet. Without hesitation, he continued firing at Galvatron, ignoring the spikes of pain shooting through him.

"You'll never win, Prime!" Galvatron grabbed the Matrix of Chaos from the ground and fired back at Optimus with his gauntling gun. "Its time for the fall of Prime!"

Optimus glanced with slight anger at the Matrix Galavtron picked up. Four shots slammed into Optimus - one hitting his chest directly, and he stumbled back. Two of the shots hit his already damaged leg, and with a strange sizzle of sparks, his leg began to give under him. He painfully stood straight - firing again at Galvatron.
Kale felt his heart leap into his throat. Optimus was hurt - badly. He wasn't a medic, but he could tell that Prime's leg wasn't going to last much longer. Offroad had already confirmed this information, but didn't dare speak it aloud.

The shots fired by Optimus took Galvatron's gauntling gun out of his hand and with the Matrix of Chaos still in his hands he couldn't form the ion cannon. "Its time to face oblivion Prime!" Galvatron charged towards Optimus with the Matrix of Chaos in his right hand, hisflail forming in the other.

"I dont think so Galvatron..."
Optimus said under his breath before charging towards Galvatron. He fired twice, then switched his gun with his blade. As the two came in range of one another, Optimus lashed out towards Galvatron's neck with his sword.
Kale gripped onto Offroad's finger tightly, his eyes glued on the battle.

"In the real world, good doesn't always win!" The shots caused damage to Glavatron's right arms, but he kept going towards Optimus. Glavatron didn't block the sword and whilred his flail towards Optimus' head at the same time the sword was heading towards his own head.

Skyview's optics flickered for a moment as he felt the tension in his systems kick up. This may end of as the final blow of the fight...and he was literaly running all of the possibilities of the outcome through his processor.

There was no stopping now - Optimus' blade continued towards Galvatron's neck, quite intent on slicing the 'cons head right off his shoulders. But Optimus could see the flail coming closer to his own helm, his central processor sending an alarm to dodge it - but he ignored the signal.

The sword went straight through his neck, but avoided the central nerves on the sides of his neck, he barely was alive, but still focused on hitting Optimus.
