haha nice there.. i dont liek mice either but im not liek scared of them. they wont really hurt you.. some people arnt the brightest thats for sure..
Yes they will!

You want the story? Here!

Many years ago I was walking my dog in the dark while it was raining. He stopped and sniffed at something. Refusing to budge, I figured he found something interesting (cuz he was snorting and shaking his head too) and knelt down for a closer look - since it was dark and raining and impossible to see anything. Well, I put my hand onto the grass and felt pain. Lifting my hand to the streetlight, I could see a mouse dangling from my pinky. I put my hand back onto the grass hoping he would release his grip and run away. Nope. So I lifted my hand again and flicked it really hard. Well, the mouse was back on the ground, and my dog was back to sniffing it mad . So I did what I thought was best - I stepped on it. MY DOG CONTINUED TO SNIFF AT IT (I think he like it better dead cuz it wasn't defending itself anymore)

Eventually I went back inside and saw that my pinky was bleeding. When I showed my mom and told her what happened she freaked and made my brother's friend put the dead mouse in a container (so that IT could be tested for nasties instead of me getting a bazillion injections) and we took it to the hospital. Five hours later I got a room. Everyone who passed by looked at the container - not us. Wow, does word move fast in a hospital! The doctor had to call up specialists to find out what mice carry. Then he took the mouse into a different room to look at it (lol).

With my pinky in iodine, he explained that it looked like a domestic mouse. Even if it was wild it probably didn't carry anything bad unless it was visiting the city from a rural area, so keep an eye on my finger.

I told them to keep the mouse as a mascot and left. ><

Didn't need stitches or anything.

And that's how my mouse-stepping-on-ritual began. 3nodding

wow.. nice story... my dog tends to ignore things except for cats and other dogs usually.. she likes those. never been bit by a mouse.. but hamsters are evil hahaha.. the gerbils that me and my brother had a long time ago didnt even bite me. they were nice i guess LOL. thats a long wait though.. 5 hours for nothing...
My dog is a mutt.

He likely has cocker spaniel, poodle, and some other hunting/sporting/terrier breeds in him. So he LOVES chasing and hunting animals.

Last month my family went camping and I accidentally flushed a grouse. My dog perked up and found the other two - then spent half an hour continually flushing them out. 4laugh

haha nice your dog like copies u.. kind of.. even if it is on accident that you do something... my dog is like samoyde, huskey, and wolf with a few other breeds that her mom had in her. but she only chases stuff when she is off her leash on a walk unless like i said the dogs and other cats.
Yeah, he's my shadow - or anyone else's if they have food. ><

But even if I hadn't flushed that grouse, he would've still gone after them once he found out they were there. Just a half hour previous to that escapade he was barking at the Canada geese from our boat - and loved it when they flew away (not because he was barking, but likely either the boat got too close for comfort or they just wanted to go eat)

He loves the following words:

Duck
Squirrel
Rabbit
and
Bunny

Which all pretty much mean "SOMETHING TO CHASE!"

haha nice.. my dog mainly likes cats, dogs, squirrels and rabbits now. she used to chase grouse and other birds in the woods but now she doesnt anymore. her favourite words are car ride, walk, bike ride, and run... o and fishing.. she loves that too haha.. its so cute.. this one guy had a trout or a pink salmon on his rod ( i cant remember what one) and she ran over to him the first time he had a fish on the shore and she went to play with it and the second tme ( on a different day) the guy was reeling it in and it was in a fairly shallow spot so jessie went over to catch it for him. he just laughed both times since he is used to my dogs and both of the times the fish were too small to keep.

Everyone knows about them. A customer told the manager today that he saw one run under a table in the corner. The description he gave sounded like Bob. He's not supposed to be in the dining area, he belongs in the dry storage. scream

We've had mice since before I started working there. Many health inspectors come, they just tell us to clean up better and try to get rid of the mouse poop. stare

I WANT THEM TO SHUT US DOWN!

lol...well always eating flour is kinda...boring...and I suspect bad for ones health..and...i's dry...maybe he needed some liquid stuff sweatdrop ...looking for the baby you killed maybe surprised ...well...if the place has had mice for a long time and the manager hasn't done anything about it...it really should be shut down o.o...for health risks gonk ...you must be quite the stomper...*fears for your house when you get mad* whee
I think he only eats the flour when I sweep the restaurant - cuz then the place is lacking the scraps he would usually eat (aka. I clean good, no one else does)

We have mouse traps that the mice poop all over... so we are kinda trying to get rid of them.

But we're attached to a mall - with other restaurants around (and a produce store that was forced to close because of the mice problem it had (where it all began) - so they all just started coming to Pizza Hut more often crying ) so it's kinda hard to get rid of 'em.

if..there's no food...they shuldn't be there...unles htey eat the fresh stuff surprised ...infected gonk ...damn that produce store lol...fumigate the mall XD...exterminators or...animal control people...the people that go see the animals at your uni XD
We now have sacrificial flour bags. O.o

Seriously - they say "DO NOT USE" on them and are obviously being eaten by the mice but not thrown away. rofl

An exterminator comes in every once and a while and sprays the corners and 'mouse hot spots' - but even HE says it doesn't work. It just gets them drunk - which keeps them away for a bit. But the allure of the food brings them right on back.

lol "now" o.o...how long has this been in affect? sweatdrop ..hahaha drunk mousies xd ..can't you like..cover up the holes or whatevers?

Yes 'now' - as in it started less than a week ago.

I have been covering up the holes with wire brush (EAT THAT MOUSIES!!!! twisted ) pads and it HAS been working - but there's just too many places they use. Honestly, they only need something the diameter of a nickel to get through. I've seen a mouse running in and out of a bus shelter - and when I look at the wall where he was doing this I found NO holes whatsoever. Boggled my mind.

This one time my dad was working in the backyard and saw a rabbit. So he walked inside and said "Lucky. Rabbit. Back yard." My dog rushed outside... to the front yard where the rabbits usually are. So my dad repeated it twice more. My dogs ears perked as he figured it out and FLEW to the back yard and chased the rabbit.

Pics of mah doggeh. ><

My dog HATES the word 'bath'. And yes, it's associated with a bath, which he also hates. If he's ever suspicious or if you say the word, he'll hide under the couch and refuses to come out.

So one time I was coming upstairs with a towel for him and see him sitting at the top step. Fearing he would figure it out (as he often does by such a simple gesture) I quickly put the towel on my head and said "It's a hat! Just a hat! ... hat." Silly dog accepted the explanation and next thing he knew he was getting a bath. (mwahaha)

He still hasn't associated 'hat' with a bath yet, so we'll talk about baths with the codename 'hat'. Confuses a lot of people. When my boyfriend was over my sister and I had an entire conversation on why Lucky needs another hat. It took me a while to realize what we were doing so I filled him in. rofl
