Oh, and yeah, Korsal, I get what you are saying. But I would rather go with a high speed and heavy strength/attack compared to working on accuracy vs. evasion. Cause with the strength, you would have an increased defense, almost like a boost in vitality, while the high speed is used for a possibility of a double attack, and also keeps your attack from failing you from having a lower accuracy.
I am also talking from the point of view from games that separate the stats of speed and evasion.
So If say, I had 50 sp and had to spend it on Atk, Vit, Def, Spd, Eva, Str, and Acc.
Atk:10 Vit:8 Def:5 Spd:10 Eva:2 Str:10 Acc:5
That is how I would order them out. What about you?

I only read the beginning portion of it, the rest I skimmed through. Looking at it, the novel reveals what the cast were doing prior to the events of Dawn. There's even a chapter with Aster and Richter on it.
I'm also amused that the novel calls Aselia 'Mother Earth'. xd
emotion_dowant DO WANT. I always did want to see more of Aster. He sounds like a neat guy.
Anyway, I'll have to see if I could track it down.

I don't know if you can leave now, but the marsh near Xian Du is great for leveling.

But what about the INT? Isn't that the magic attack/defense in this one?
Hello my lovelies! Long time no see Crazy, Killer, and Neji. And everyone else, really. xd
I finally finished Tales of Xillia (Jude's story). Besides my earlier gripe that the game lacked puzzle filled dungeons, I also thought the main baddie wasn't villainous enough, which made the overall plot seem less epic in scope. He/she was cool regardless, but yeah, I like my villains to ooze evil. Or at least have a fuc*ed up set of morals and ideas, like Yggdrasil. A great game, but definitely not on Symphonia's league.
Anyone else excited for The Stick of Truth? I've been watching South Park religiously since it first came on air 17 years ago (it is my all time favorite TV show), and the fact that they made a South Park RPG is still blowing my mind. It wouldn't be so farfetched to assume that this game could easily become one of my top 5 games of all time.
So... what's new with everyone?
Oh, and Evil, it's //ERROR//, not /ERROR/! scream TWO SLASHES!!!

Yep, spoiler-spoiler was cool enough, but made for a pathetic antagonist. I felt like they only fought because there needed to be a final boss.* They were chums, then they were enemies, but only sort of. Blah.** Also, I didn't think that his fight was epic enough. I can't remember the battle music (bad sign, that), and he/she's just some dude/dudette who you fight (not even an angel with "a fuc*ed up set of morals" or anything!), which makes for a lame final boss in this sort of game.*** Maybe I'm just used to final boss fights against epic monstrous forms (not mere epic monsters, though- that's just lame and is often there just to have a final boss even though it's not connected to the rest of the plot. No Space Fleas from Nowhere, please.), but I was also disappointed by the final boss.
*Before you say that a final boss isn't necessary... Mass Effect 3. Bam. **Blah Blah Tidal Wave. ***Big Boss was different. He's Big Boss, and he was even a cyborg or something the second time. Also, different genre.
I don't watch South Park, but it sounds interesting.
What's new? Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. *flails around*
Wait a second, I messed up your glorious name/title/thing?! *falls to knees, still flailing around* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! How could I make such a mistake?! Seriously, how? I knew that. Argh.

I need to get back to playing Xillia... I left off... Umm... Just after Milla got her a** kicked in the fortress? I think? But Skyrim had been eating the vast majority of my free time up until about a month or so ago. Then Gaia and catching up with the internet took that over. (mainly because I can't do both at the same time on this computer...)
I couldn't care less about The Stick of Truth... :/ I'll admit I used to watch South Park when I was younger, but nowadays the humor just seems too crass and inappropriate for me... Though I haven't completely given up on the Kenny phenomena... XP That's about the only thing I still like though...
New? Apparently I need to step up my game at work... The rate at which I recover the shelves apparently isn't fast enough. Even though it's not my fault that someone doing the stocking can't do their job right leaving me to take longer cleaning up after them... I swear though, I'm the one that does the best job, but just because others do a shitty job to move quicker, I'm the one taking the heat! Yeah, I'm the slowest one... But that's only because everyone else is doing a half assed job in order to move faster! -~-

The Battleship is pretty decent, I just rushed towards Gilland. I just need to run around a couple more times and I should be fine. Especially if I get the food that grants 3x exp or whatever.

Nothing much besides the fact that I've permanently moved back to Guam. emotion_c8
Now I'm kinda being pressured to find a job except...there isn't really anything available...not even in retail... emotion_facepalm
So I'm gonna try getting back into practice and see how the art commissioning scene goes.
Can't say I feel the same for Stick of Truth, sorry...lost track of South Park a long while ago. sweatdrop Did like it when I was younger, though.

Waaaaaaait a minute. There are novels translated into English?? To be honest, I didn't really look up these "collector's edition" packages myself because I'd start feeling too sad about not being able to get them.
Put under spoiler cut just in case:
Yeah, I found out on Tumblr (need to track down that source, though) that "Aselia" might've been the name assumed for the planet around the time of the Ragnarok War, which happens between Symphonia and Phantasia. I initially assumed that the world's name was established before Mithos split it in two. Whoops. So that means the Symphonia characters wouldn't actually be calling the world "Aselia".lol
@Evil: While I did actually enjoy the final boss battle, I agree that what's his/her puss was a weak excuse for an antagonist, and was the final boss battle simply because they couldn't think of a better one.
Well, I already own both Symphonia and Dawn, so there's no need for me to pick up Chronicles.
It's alright, peasant. I forgive you. xd
~
@Neji: Oh my God! You stopped watching South Park! You b*****d!
I know that pain, bro. They expect you to be fast and efficient, not just one or the other. Assert yourself without stepping over the line. Tell your higher ups what the deal is, and they will listen. If they don't take your plight into consideration, you are working at a shi*ty store and need to get out. That's my two cents.
~
@Azura: Good luck on the job search, Azura. Don't worry: when I make it big, I'll commission you to do promotional materials for my films. Just give me 5 to 10 years, haha.

Yeah Evil... Get it right...
Didn't anyone ever tell them that haste makes waste? So... You end up doing all of the work? Man. Actually, I could stand to work a tad faster myself, but hey.
I didn't get it right! Aaah! *flails around more*

Ah, the EXP multiplier foods! I had those on at all times if possible. Great stuff.

Agreed.
B-but there's new stuff! Ah, well. Youtube.
Anyway, huzzah! Forgiveness! You mean I don't have to go on a 30-hour-long quest for redemption and such? Brilliant.

I mostly wanted the figurines, though learning that there was also a little novel with it had gotten my interest. xd It was actually the first thing I wanted to look at as soon I picked up my Collector's Edition. The novel also has a few pics in it here and there. *is amused that Emil was listed among the character introduction page, yet the cover had Aster on it*

That is correct. You shall be utterly alone in the universe, the last of your kind: the Guess Lords. We will never guess. Anyway, what game do you speak of?

I demand that someone guesses a reasonable guess (I'm not gonna be going nuts about finding something like Bioshock 2 in my closet... :/) lest the Guess Lord Victorious destroy you all...
