His expression headed to one more of sorrow "So there is no chance I can become a jedi? Just from not being born with something, I can't be a defender of this galaxy?" He looked down at the water again from where he sat and ran his hand through it watching the trail of water follow his hand.
His eyes came up again to regard Jami "Is there nothing I can do? I've been searching for a while now, and while this may not be the perfect ending I saught for, I need something to depend on," He brought his hand up from the water letting the droplets fall back to the body of water below "Sure, I may not be able to hold the droplets in the air as you, but just as you said, not all Jedi need to use the force. Can you at least take me to someone who can know for sure if I have a future here?"

Talon worked on his saber, thinking about the future. He was now calm and happy. It just had to take him some time to get used to the new temple. Lots of jedi had left. He was determined now to make sure that he helped as much as he could around here. He was not even close to finishing his saber. He needed to focus more on that.

Jami ran his hand slowly over the white streak in his hair, thinking. "I'm... not really the best person to ask about that. But your perception of the Jedi is all wrong. Yes, we fight when necessary, but we're diplomats, not warriors. Anyways, you could talk to one of the other Jedi around here. Perhaps Kari. She's a girl with silvery hair. Just look for her and ask, since I have no idea how to tell if you're Force sensitive or not."

His gaze following the fish he said "Where might one find this Kari?" As the words left his mouth he looked back up to Jami. One hand reached up to the golden necklace he wore and rested on it. While he wasn't exactly proud of his parent's past, they were his parents, and he was out here to find something other to do in his life. "So tell me, how is it that the public has such a wrong image of the Jedi? You tell me that you all are diplomats, yet the storys I've heard have made you out as aggresors?"

"The stories make us seem like aggressors due to a number of terrorists who use lightsabers and call themselves Jedi, though they don't use the Force. As such, we seem like aggressors. It's all the work of this small group is all."

"Wow, that's pretty harsh for the general public to base everything they talk about on a single small group that isn't even associated with the Jedi." He turned his gaze to the sky and watched the clouds form and move along. "So Jami, tell me, do you think you could refer me to this Kari? To at least find out if I could have a future here."

Jami nodded and stood. He saw a stooped figure in front of where Bryce had died. The figure was too slim to be Zeth, so he figured that it was Kari. "She's that young woman out by the steps. Wait until she's done, though, before you talk to her." Jami's eyes twinkled slightly, then he nodded to Makum and headed into the Archives to study.

He stood up to shake his hand, but Jami walked off too quickly, "Thank you!" He was forced to yell after Jami as he walked away. Makum looked to his right at the stooped figure hoping that she wouldn't be one of those aggressor types who wanted to kill him ((haha)), so he sat back down at the fountain and put his knees into his chest and his arms around his knees looking into the water yet again.

Kari took another few moment before she stood and walked back into the temple. She entered the temple still thinking of Bryce and his death until she stopped when she saw a young man sitting next to fountain. Kari had not seen him before and she guessed he must be another hopeful.

((Quit yer whining and accept the lad. xD)) Jami paused for a moment, then headed back to the fountain. He figured Kari would listen to the word of another Jedi than the word of a total stranger. Jami bowed slightly, then motioned to Makum. "Master, this is Makum Sacre. He wished to know if he was Force sensitive."

Makum looked up just in time to see Kari look at him. He quickly jumped to his feet and walked over to her. "Hi, my names Makum. I know this is probably kind of odd, you know, a total stranger walking up to you, but I was told by a Jami that you the one to talk to about....well....about being here. See, I come from the outer rim, Almania to be exact, and traveled with a man named Jerek, who decided to leave me here. I'm in search of a life, anything to keep me away from Almania, and I just kind of ended up here."
He blushed slightly realizing just how uptight he seemed. The blush turned to a smirk as he looked to the ground "I'm terribly sorry, that's probably way more then you want to hear from me. I'm just looking for something, and I'm hoping you can help me find it."
((Eck, sorry I didn't see your post there haha. Eh, oh well. I don't feel like changing this one xD))

Before karicould Answer Jami's statment the young man cmae up to both of them. It had been some time since a new person had come to the temple.
First, there is nothing to fear, look at me not the ground. I can't see if you can be a jedi if you are to scared to look at me. Kari said with a small laugh and a smile.

Jami adjusted his grey robes and sat on the edge of the fountain. He watched Kari and Makum calmly, curious as to how this would turn out. He would answer any questions either of them had, but he would keep silent otherwise.

A message from deep space arrived and was stored in Kari's personal messages, as well as serveral other message recorders in her room.
it was writen:
Dear Kari,
I have sad news, Zeth....is dead, I found his body, he was killed on Korriban. I suspect that it was by a dark jedi padawan that said he refused to fight him, and I think I know why Kari, the padawan seems to be of your blood, he claims brother, I only know his force arua and other things about him, even his scent, is similar to yours.
I wanted you to know this so it was used as a surprise at some latered date, I think the dark jedi that killed Bryce might try to use him against you, she had a certain tone we she spoke aboutthe relation, she tried to do it to me, she might try with you as well.
I have placed Zeth's body in a preservation capsule that will keep his body as it is now for up to 6 months before the capsule can no longer stop degridation. I plan to give him a proper jedi funeral pyre, but I thought you would want to attend. I do not know if Sephiroth wouuld allow it, but I am on Dac right now, they are within the republic so it would be safe, it is in the outer rim, possible a a 2 day trip from Coruscant unless you take a larger ship. I can wait, but chances are if I have to wait beyond 2 months, as that is how long the repairs on my ship will take, I will be onthe planet I wished to go to in the first place, which is a 3 day trip. I have coordinates for that planet at the end of this letter should you be unable to get to Dac in 2 months, after 6 months, I will have to give Zeth his funeral before his body starts to degrade.
