"Thank you for watching over Elruda, Gogandantes-san. And...one more thing. My given name is fine." The midnight-haired woman chuckled. She never did like addressing by clan titles, which serves well as confusion when multiple clansmen were present...which made it even more awkward, if not downright uncomfortable. "Come, chiisai-hime. We should get going. Did you remember to thank Gogandantes-san?" The soft smile only became warmer, like their clan's name...truly towards the sun...as Elruda gurgled a 'PHANNK CHUUU', momentarily looking up from her can of ice tea and grinning widely. Then, the two Hyuugas, daughter's hand in mother's, walked down the street before the darker night swallowed their forms.

Shin nodded, before walking ahead a few steps, expecting Giglamesh to follow. Oh dear...he hoped his teammates remembered to clean up. Hopefully they did, as he was very mean to them just a few days before of cleaning up after their own messes. Since then, they had been quite demure to at least make the room presentable when he returns home.

As the festival was drawing to a close, so did the night crowd of Iwa begin to thin out. Shinratsu looked up absent-mindedly, gray-blue eyes seeming so distant as he watched the brilliant silver moon and stars overhead...illuminating his own eyes and small frame, transforming pale orbs to brilliant silver-blue as if his doujutsu had suddenly come to life on its own... The boy hummed a soft tune...Shin really did love the night. Because it was at nighttime when Iwa looked most like his Kiri...perhaps not transformed to liquid silver but...Tsukiyomi was so much closer...arousing haunting beauty in the night scenery of this mountain village.

Surprisingly, the boy seemed to know his way around Iwa quite well... Giglamesh probably knew already Shin was a bright child but perhaps had no idea exactly the extent of his perfect memory. Even though he had been living in Iwa for almost seven months now, even in his first week here Shinratsu was able to pick his way easily through the winding streets of dirt, rough, and smooth pavement.

At some length, they reached the orphanage for refugee children. Giglamesh might wonder why there was even an orphange specifically for refugees but the amount of wandering children was actually...quite significant. But this does not mean Iwa spent too much money for these foreigners' sake. The lobby seemed beautifully designed, smelled somewhat clean thanks to the lingering detergents...

There was no elevator and Shin and Giglamesh would walk up the winding stairs to his floor. The further they went upstairs, so did care in maintainence noticeably diminish. The lobby and second to fourth floor were merely displayed whenever the Kage or Council of Elders bothered to visit to ensure the funds were being properly managed and that the refugees were at the least comfortable.

As one of the newer refugees, Shin lived on the sixth floor with around twenty other orphan children. There were four rooms, not very large...five children would share each room. Nor was there division between gender: Shin had three male and one female roommate. The room had no lock either...

The occupants within the room froze as the door opened and Shin growled coldly. "What are you doing with my okaa-san's locket?" If that was Shin's share of the room, it was noticeably much cleaner than the rest of the room. He didn't possess too much, carrying much of his things with him. But there was one thing he dare not risk bring out openly in Iwa, if by chance he should run into a pilferer...his mother's precious white-gold and sapphire locket, that Shin had taken great pains to find a proper hiding place for.

Quite clever, the boy had wedged one of the boards free from the floor. Wasn't too difficult a job either, considering the ground was pieced together with cheap, short boards of wood...that seemed to threaten to break should they walk too heavily. And he hide his okaa-san's necklace in the hole in the ground, covering board over protecting the necklace's hiding place.

"T-that's mine!" Said the largest of the boys, though not very bravely...it would seem Shin had threatened them long ago at least once. Giglamesh probably never saw such a furious expression on the usually calm boy's features. Like a pouncing tiger, a swift foot was on the other boy's stomach, kunai at the older's throat. The older boy did less well on the exams given to the orphan children that would determine eligibility to attend the village shinobi Academy (as Iwa still had its own citizens' children to care for) and so stood no chance. "Give it back." Shin snarled. "I don't care if you rob me of anything else I have, but that is the one thing you do not take."

The kunai pressed closer to the other boy's throat, strong enough to draw a line of blood. "Return it or I will slice your throat."

Giglamesh would folllow while he hadent had to make many trips threw the portions of the village he still kenw the village very well from the war. Apon getting there giglamehs would look apon shin's dwelling with the -__- expresion, he didnt like to much what he had seen, but as so many had to come here from the other villages due to the wars that broke out all around the shinobi nations there wassent much to be expected as so many sought shelter in the only free nation. It was sad that they coudlnt do more for the refugees but finaces and every nation being there enemy wouldnt make it any easier. But he had things to do here that coudlnt be avoided, well they could.....but he didnt want to. As he went in he instanly noticed everbody freeze as they saw shinrtsu enter, and he would follow quickly behinde. As shinratsu pounced on the larger boy that apparently had shin's mother necklace, with his mother being gone he knew it would be important to him.

Shinratsu would of pounced like a mad man on the boy and giglamesh would of moved even faster removing the kunai from his hand. "shin-cahn........violence wont resolve a matter like this will it kid?.......How bout you kindly give back what belongs to shin now?" Giglamehs had a very playful look on his face as he spoke to shin holding his kunai in his hand. But that look very rapidly changed as he spoke to the large boy about returning the amulet he looked directly then his with a incredible evil almost crazed grin enough to make the boy nearly s**t his pants, especily since he was also a kid from the acdemy he would know of gig exploits, and with how young kids spread rumors about there teachers and that gig always acted like he didnt want the students to like him he knew he would of only known bad things of giglamesh.

The boy shook in fear from giglamesh simply being there, then the look almsot paralized him wit fear, it was already bad enough from shin but that man, the man he heard that killed more than three hundred people durring the war, why was he with shin? He didnt really want to find out so he would hold his hand out shakeingly to hand the locket back to shinratsu. "S.ss....ss....sorry sh...sh...shin ku...ku..kun....." From Gogandantes-sama being there is was simply like the boy had a horrible speech impeadament.

Giglamesh would then return to his coyish smile as if he did nothing but ask the boy to return it. "...See that wassent so hard was it shin-chan......violence dossent solve everthing." He had the same coy smile grinning with his eye closed. He would start to walk around the room, maiyuri still in hand, and he would toss the kunai back to shinratsu. He would come to the clean one.....and with lookign at the others he had a fairly simple guess to which was his. As giglamehs moved around the room the other kids scutled away from him scared. Giglamesh would stand above shin's bed.....and would suddenly get a big grin. "Shin shin shin.....this wont do there is such a big hole in the wall!"

It was like giglamesh would literaly wait for shin to get confused or to ask what he was talking about. The second after he did giglamehs would lash his right hand with built up chakra makeing a pretty large blast of wind and he would concentrate his chakra makeing it like several blades of wind would slice at the wall. But for a moment after the wind it was like nothign happend untill. "........that hole...............aww to bad....guess youll have to move in with me!" As he stated that last part giglamesh would put his right hand around shin's shoulder pulling him close to his right side with a massive grin, he would then turn and begin to walk back out.....basically dragging shin if he wassent walking with him. Shin would see it but he would do several hand chakra seals and make a stone clone but before completing it he woudl change it shape to bascily fix the wall before he was gone out of the complex.

Shinratsu was proably still out of it to what just happend but giglamesh was still dragging him if he wassent willing walkign with him back to his......there apartment. It would be good for the boy to have somebody to tend for him, as well as when he left shinratsu wouldn't of saw it either but he placed a piece of paper with instructions on the front desk to take amount a large sum of money for the entire complex to have some things redone, kei would be mad he had just spent so much money and taken in a stray but he would convince her it was a good thing to do. shin was proably confused.....as hell but it would make sense and be fine in time, even the boy said he didnt care about the rest of his thing sonly the locket so he had left him with that, as shin saw he had plenty of robes, yukata's, and kimonos to wear if he needed he would get him more.....the boy needed somthing like a family.

Seeing her sister only made her head light in embarrassment until it happened once again. "Oi...I'm...going down again...N-Nya..." Her eyes were swirly as she fell down to the floor feinting once again. Her sister was...in her birthday suit running around like a mad women! Maybe this is why her mother never told Shizuka about her sister? Then again, Shizuka's mother did say she was quite the crazy one back then also. Maybe it was Harumi who got moms crazy genes? Maybe her time will come when she'll act the same way as Harumi.

He would be watching her closely to catch that little blush, then it would shock him as she started acting mad and he looked away for a second. Only looking back in time to barely catch the smile in his gaze. "Well, you were a person that I felt was important to show a good time. Strength is something that is easily changed with effort to a certain degree." He would give her a reassuring smile. He wanted her to know that she could do it too. "Well.. can I accompany you hom...." Before he would finish she would pass out. She never pulled back from his embrace, so she would just fall into his arms instead of to the ground. He would pull her up to a cradling position. He would look over to Harumi. "Where is it that your mother lives.. I would like to take her home.. if you don't mind." He would be serious for a moment, hoping she wouldn't be a perverted little harlot like before.

Shinratsu was obvisouly confused so giglamehs would stop and turn him around looking him dead in the eye's. "Its simple...your moving in with mai, kei and myself......cant say know cause you dont have any thing your bed and wall mysteriously fell to peices...so just come stay with us i know kei likes you as do i.....plus ........well i know its hard not haveing a family.......so untill you have your own we could act like a foster one if youll allow us......so what do you say?" Giglamehs asked him like he had a choice, while he didnt....this choice was basicly alreayd made for him gig just destroyed his room so he had nothing to go back to. Plus would it be that bad to stay with some people that cared for him? "...Also think about it as you walk.....mai's getting cold." giglamesh would begin walkign agin and he knew that shinratsu would follow, if after a pause he knew he would follow....gig had to warm that heart of his up some more.
