He watched what was going on. they'd get everything setup just right for him. and he didn't have to ask any favors. but for now he kept to his ship's wheel and waited.

Des frowned when the rain let up, but stretched and put on her clothes, leaning back on the prow. Watching hunter, a nd sunbathing. Richards was out somewhere, and she'd bet her wings he was working on something that Captain Deacon was going to try to do to get out of his bargain with jones.

Richards stood his ground, squinting a bit to try and make out shapes, but since the thing was black and so was the rest of the world right now that didn't help much.

"We should be familiar. You're the same dragon from the saltbeds, aren't you? or are you a local to the atoll?"

It wasn't pleasant to suddenly be shifted and jerked and he reasoned that this must be what Savryn felt like when he physically moved her. She couldn't see his intentions and that's why she lashed out. It made a bit more sense to him now considering his body was on high alert and quite pissed off at being forcibly manipulated. The darkness closed in like a shroud but his natural abilities lent him sight just the same. There were quite a few obstructions in the path by way of little stones and stalagmites. Would Savryn be alright?

Watching her, he realized just how independent she really was. She could use Chy to help her and he'd be willing if he knew how her mind worked. Instead he found himself hanging back and watching her move. She knew things through her necromantic tricks but it was more than that. Why tap? What was the significance of the ringing of metal? He could see the traces of the trail they were following-that fluorescent green was undeniably obvious--but at the same time, he wasn't sure what she was doing. She'd snap at him if he questioned though, that he knew instinctively. "Where are they?"

He didn't pretend to hide whom he was but questioned their ability to distinguish him from other just by the sound of his voice. Dragons obviously all sounded similar in different ways. "The ships that dare to come out here other than Fang, yes." He amused in his head that they wouldn't of even made it out here if he hadn't been holding Fang back to an extent. Shuffling sounds obviously spoke of his movement and he was laying down calmly, paw and talons still over the two almost casually. "Do tell, what are you two doing down here and all alone at that?"

A brupt stop at the toes of her boot came into contact with something in her way and she had to figure a moment that it was a stalagmite and that he needed to be stepped around or else she'd trip over it. Her non gloved hand was stretched out to her side fingers poised as if waiting to come into contact with something. Another pause a few feet later to kick the steel toe of her boot just right so that it produced that ringing sound. Good time for his question though seeing as she had paused in her step counting. "Somewhere northeast of here...I can only guess. But the three strongest life pulses come from there. As well as the exudence of pride and fear. The rest of the blips in here are still, as if afraid to move. Try feeling out for magics that way." And hopefully something else wasn't in these caves from what they were expecting.

Caden was busy helping out around the ship, working the odd job and doing what was needed to be done. He didn't feel like he was helping much and that upset him. What made him feel worse was the fact that his home was being laid to waste while he couldn't help it. So after thinking about it for awhile he wondered if he could be sent back, but he had no way of getting there, or did he? So when he had time to himself he began to walk around the ship, he had to look for the little ones especially Eilynne. So he began to call her out, since he didn't know where she was.

Their situation was getting progressively worse the more they talked but Thobias saw no other option. He listened closely, trying to figure out just what the dragon was doing and then cleared his throat. "The sand swallowed us. I was worried about sandworms and all but then we fell into these caves and we've been trying to get out ever since. You live here?"

He watched her curiously, deducing for himself just what her strange movements were for. Of course he came up with nothing and quirked an eyebrow as the sound of metal against stone echoed throughout the passage and beyond. "There's something bigger down here. I can sense the power and elemental magic levels are through the roof for it to be an elf." Shaking his head and sending out a few runic pings just to get some bounceback. "And whatever it is has been magically active down here recently as well. What are you doing?"

She detested being called and since she knew Caden was wandering looking for her, it was far simpler to let him find her. She was easy enough to find, sitting on the deck with her gaze turned out towards Ilindal. Areesa was bouncing quietly beside her but Eilynne ignored the Seon for now. "You've been searching for me."

Caden found Eilynne after being told where she was so he didn't look like an idiot running around the ship searching for her. So first he gathered his things then he slowly walked up to her and paused as he too stared out to the sky for a moment before turning back to her. "Hello, I don't mean to disturb you but I rather get right to the point than to drag it along before I tell you." He paused for a moment before he looked back at her. "For awhile now I've been getting the feeling I would be more helpful home than here, I don't feel like I'm doing my all and helping out. To me if I was home protecting my people then I would feel a lot better and more happy. If you don't mind can you send me back?"

"You drag nothing but your feet, Guardian." Listening to his request and then turning back to him and shaking her head. "You feel useless because you refuse to fulfill what tasks are given to you. The pirates have delegated but you have politely declined. I neither admire nor admonish that." Quieting for a moment and gazing at him. "Ilindal's time is coming and Lycear is more than prepared. Those who plot against him will fall with or without your help. I understand your desire to return and will grant your request. But I cannot send you back. Only Rahsaveer can do such a thing."

"She doesn't like to admit that she can't do something but it's rather pretty when she does." Already brought out by Areesa before Eilynne could send for him, he leaned against a barrel and eyed Caden. "So you think you'll be more useful back in Ilindal, hm? Well, let's hope you're right. This is a one way flight." Raising his hands, he muttered the incantation and Caden's body was overtaken by sparkles. The Laerethe took his hand and suddenly they were back in Ilindal, in Lycear's tower. Rahsaveer didn't hang around but popped back up onto the ship.

"His purpose was served. It was better for him to go than to suffer the end that fate had for him."

"He will suffer the end anyway, Eilynne. You know that. We don't interfere with what the threads have already mapped out in their tapestries. We see all and we know all and sometimes that really sucks."

"Rahsaveer, I detest your language."

He grinned at her stiffening and pressed a kiss to her cheek before he disappeared. "I know."

"Sandworms...yes I admit I would say that those are the more worrisome of creatures out here, even to use dragons." He hated them personally...their saliva had a nasty effect on scales. "Mm, among other places yes I suppose I call this home. One bed gets boring." It was funny that he was having idle conversation with them. Honestly he didn't feel like eating them...pirates had a lingering after taste. Letting them up, he pulled back his paw and tucked it close to himself as he lay there watching them, eyes following their movements to see what they would do next and if he should play nice nice...it would get him in good with them some more. As the humans said, friends close and enemies closer.

"Hopefully what you're feeling is the dragon that is supposed to be stalking our rum guzzling first mates. If it's something else...well perhaps things just got more interesting and it wouldn't be too long before it found us either." Ring of metal to punctuate her sentence there...after all she was purposefully making quite a bit of noise. Ears twitched to the energy flare of his rune pings but she knew what they were so her alarms didn't go off. "Tracking? Or do you mean all the noise making and the like." Finger tips ghosting over the side of a hanging stalagtite, moving around it as her fingers told her to. "Mmm...I suppose you could call it mapping. Sort of like sonar I guess is the best way to explain it. Like I know there's an offshoot passage to the left because the sound doesn't echo back to me quickly."

There was the sound of boots scrapping against the ground near one of the brothels, Logan didn't use the services that could be asked for inside the building but he used the area he stood at to get his bearings about. After all ever since he plane hoped from Fe'Laar he been wandering the desert for awhile. Blinking once he turned his head both left and right, plane travel would always cause confusion, he was warned about that. Still out of all planes he could of hoped to he picked this one, he could back out but there was no point, he came here so he might as well take the time to search it.

Logan twisted his neck sharply to the right and a small crack could be heard, it was the only thing he could do now, his dragon claw never felt stiff anymore and his joints never felt like they were brittle. He had to thank Aiden for that and he always did, after all she did heal him of his problems. Now he could fly with the aid of wings and even become a full dragon or a full human, but Logan never cared for either form since he always lived in the one he was currently in. He became a lot stronger now because of her, and he would always be grateful for meeting her and becoming her lover. Still even though he gained the feeling of wanderlust he missed his love deeply, and even though he carried items that remined him of her it would not replace the wonderful feeling of being by her side.

With a small sigh Logan ran his human hand through his blond hair and looked around again, there was nothing worth to check out. He knew about humans since he met them back at his homeland, he was hoping to meet new species where ever he went but for now it only seemed that humans were on every plane. With a small tisk noise the halfling just turned toward the docks and began to walk, the only thing that was interesting was a creature that tried to eat him yesterday on the sands, just jumped right out and attacked him. He was able to defeat it with no problem but he burnt it to a crisp which was sad because he wanted to check out exactly what it was.

With a small sigh Logan continued walking, there was nothing special here so he had to move along. Now if he could only get someone to give directions. Still if nothing good came about he hop to another plane whenever he could.

He quietness stung, but she expected it. This was probably overwhelming for him...and there was no reason to push him. If he had more questions, he'd no doubt ask them when he felt the time was appropriate. "I'll....why don't you take a moment alone...after all, I interrupted back in Ilindal and I know how important it is for you to be alone with her..." Or even just the memory of her. Biting her lip and watching him a moment more, she pulled away from him and turned, walking away. A shake of her head to try and right her own thoughts from what he had said to her and she made her way top deck and then down the gangplank, merely walking.

However she always had bad luck and poor balance, and moreso when she wasn't looking where she was going or what was going on around her. Thusly she didn't notice the board of the dock become uneven with another man's step and sure enough as fate liked to play with her, she was crashing to the dock in a pile of herself with a pained noise. Oh great...how embarrassing was that?

Logan was busy minding his own business when suddenly he felt a shift in his weight, he quickly looked down to see one of the plank boards was loose. Thinking that to be odd he paid no attention until he heard a noise from someone. Looking to the person he noticed they were on the ground and seemed to be in pain, so without thinking he went to the person and kneel down offering his hand. "Here let me help you-" A pause when he saw the face and noticed a few things about her. "-dragon." The last word came out in reaction to seeing the woman's face, and he noticed she too had scales like him, but they were different. He never saw a white dragon before.

She was sure there was some sort of way that this made everything fit perfectly into her day...first finding out things about herself being true that she hoped weren't and then not being able to make Kaznec feel any better. And now here she was, face down on the dock and sore, wings a little awkwardly bend and the like. A blink and look up however as boots came into her view and then a hand and she looked up at him. Taking his hand he let him help her too her feet, giving her wings a flutter to set them back into order and flicking her tail. "Thank you." However he seemed surprised she was a dragon, his tone said it all.

Looking him over...she had a feeling that she knew why he was so astounding. Clearly...he wasn't all human himself...but he wasn't a dragon folk either. Frankly she didn't even think him from this plane. Or is that what happened when a human and dragon bred together? No couldn't be...those crosses never lived to hatch or if they were born the traditional human way they never lasted more than a few hours, days if lucky. Cold fact about how incompatible the two were.

Realizing that her musing in her head must be taken as staring she blinked quickling, scaling under her eyes tinging pink lightly with her embarrassment. "I'm sorry I'm clumsy." Raising her hands to straighten her hair around her horns some so it fell right. Save for that ever present cowlick in the back but she couldn't help that.

Logan could not help but blink and stare at the dragon, yes that was right, who was no standing in front of him even though she was smaller than he was. Still he couldn't help it, after all she had a tail, he did not, she had horns, and he did not; she even had wings growing right out of her back, while he had to summon his. This was shocking and it now made Logan think of two things, the first being that he was stupid for thinking there was nothing interesting up here, and two that he started to wonder if he came from this plane instead of Fe'Laar.

Logan though came back to his senses when he noticed she was looking him over. A small blush raised to his cheeks for a moment before he blinked and shook his head at the woman, or was it girl? She was so short. "No it's okay, as long as you're fine then everything is good." A blink and he titled his head. "Are you okay?" He really didn't know if she was, he was still shocked by her appearance.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 6:31 pm

And he was staring too...did that mean that whoever this was knew that she was a Rider dragon too? Or was supposed to be? Oh she didn't even know what to call herself anymore at the moment. it was all still running through her head at a mind numbing pace. "Yes...I'm fine. I take spills like that at least twice a day. I'm used to falling down and I have a knack for getting back up. Sorry again." Thusly stepping around him and starting down the dock again in aimless walking. Bell was going to consider herself lucky, you just didn't know who would gut you and who would help you up when it came to being in places like this.

Okay first thing's first Logan needed to stop staring at this dragon. So with a small blush he turned his eyes downward before he gave a small huff and walked after her, when he caught up he looked at her with a small smile. "Now it's time for me to apologize, I'm sorry for staring at you like that." A pause and he smiled revealing his two sharp teeth before he chuckled. "Also again my apologies I should introduce myself." He placed his human hand on his chest and bowed lightly. "The name is Logan, pleased to meet you." Lowering his hand he looked at her for a moment before he began to rub the back of his head. "So...ummm if you don't mind me asking are there other dragons around here? I haven't seen any except you since I came here."
