Monty backed away from the door and stood there looking at it and was quiet. So very quiet, like a hunter waiting for it's prey to come out and be eaten because he was listening to his gut feeling. Maybe Kalore and Eldin could pretend to be nice in front of Gambler but he wasn't fooled by it. The only brat he knew was Eldin because he was like that with him in the apartment and was somewhat acting insolent towards him. He should have popped his head off when he had the chance and blame it on something else that did it.
Gambler nodded and stayed absolutely quiet. Kyoshi came around with a pillow that he found and handed it to Gambler. Gently, she lifted Kalore's head and rested him against the much more comfortable pillow and moved out of everyone's way. She rubbed her eyes and took off her gun holisters. Kyoshi pulled her aside and began to fill her in on what was going on while they were gone. Gambler raised a brow but didn't say anything. Of course no one could understand them because they were speaking divine.

Gritting his teeth in pain, Kalore tried to open his eyes to see what was going on, but Kyin shook his head and spoke comforting words in their language. They were the words that he used to tell his daughter who told Kalore. Sighing, the blond recognized it and gave something almost like a nod. The man was just too much.
"Why him, Kyin?" The older man looked at Dusk who had just come down and he sighed. "Do you want what I would most normally tell you or what I truly think?" "Both." Continuing to work on the poison surrounding Kalore's throat and voice, Kyin sighed, "Most commonly I would say because my grandchild knows much about Lucien seeing as what he did in his past. Your brother knows about that, which is why he helped kill my daughter..." Dusk nodded and went to his side, helping with the poison. She didn't know much, but she knew enough to be a help.
"And what you really think?" Sighing, Kyin spoke in elvish, not wanting to have everyone freak at this, "Because Kalore knows something that Lucien doesn't want us to know...Something that Eldin doesn't want us to know." "So you think...?" "Yes. I do." Rave nodded as well, going in to get Kalore something to drink and things like that. Elves worked better hydrated for some reason. It didn't magically heal them, but it helped them keep in control. That was something that Kalore needed. You can't die on me, Kal... Oh come on, man...You just can't... Rave took a sip, knowing that he needed it as well...
Sitting in his bed, Eldin continued to meditate, praying that there was something found that threw them off of his trail. Coughing, sounding as sick and hurt as he could be without sounding fake, the boy went back to lying down. At least for the humor of other, he really was hurt and it hurt bad. Looking around, he knocked on the door, knowing that there was someone out there. "Can you get me my medical kit?" His voice was strained, the pain finally hitting him. Eldin groaned. His torso and legs had taken the worst of it save his neck which Lucien had used to almost slit his throat. "The b*****d..." Muttering that, he leaned on the door, not able to keep his weight fully on his legs.
After hearing all of the commotion, Ziggy and Talon both walked down, both seemingly healed, but there was that look of a doll in gold eyes. "What the...?" Rave filled both of them in softly, also telling them that there were many things that no one was certain of, but Ziggy looked at Kalore. Walking over, he knelt down and muttered, "s**t..." He glanced up, "Think bro would be able to help?" "Ali and James got a hold of Zaine before we showed up." Dusk and Kyin looked at each other, "He would help...He's a better medic when it comes to poisons and magic..." "But how would he come over? He's dead..."
Ziggy smirked and pointed to himself, "How do you think we Venoms have lived so damned long? We can go into each other after we die and take them over for a while. I'll just play host." Kyin nodded, "Cecilia, go with him." "Yes sir." Standing up, she grabbed Talon, "I'm keeping both of them far away from here..." They blinked but she just shook her head, saying that she would explain later. Nodding, she gave Kyoshi a hug and Gambler a nod as they were gone.
"Think they'll be okay?" Kyin nodded, "They will be fine...Lucien will not attack his sister...Not after she showed that she was capable of killing him." "What about Talon and Ziggy?" "Then we go back after them. No matter what we do, until Lucien and his partner are taken care of, we will always be in a fear of being attacked by them." Another sigh came from him as he cursed softly in elvish. "Nothing is working with Kalore...You are doing well with his body, but his voice is not coming back...Zaine may be the only one who can do anything..." Rave nodded, sighing, "Grand..." "Now let us hope that he does not punch Kyoshi again..." There was a smirk on all three elves' face at that, Kalore enjoying his grandfather's always knowing of what's going on, Kyin for lightening the mood slightly, and Rave just because he secretly wanted Kyoshi knocked out...
Zaine was standing in the middle of the clearing, arms crossed as he looked at the upcoming trio. "Damn, Zig..." "Hey...Bro..." Ali went to Ziggy, hugging him tightly, "I'm so sorry..." There were tears in her eyes as she felt all the pain that he had, but the little girl couldn't take it near as well as the Venom boy could. Kai went up from behind her and hugged her, just his touch canceling out the effect. "Calm, Ali...Calm..." She nodded and let Ziggy walk up to his brother.
"Ready?" "You think you can heal him?" Zaine didn't speak for a while, but shook his head after a moment. "From what I know, and what I've seen... I don't think anyone can. Kalore will live, rest assured...But I don't think he'll speak again." Dusk hid her eyes as she felt them tear up. When she and Kalore were dating, she had asked her if there was anything that he cared about more than his bow. Kalore had answered with four things. Rave, Dancing, her, and singing. Now that he wouldn't be able to sing again...
"Just help...Please?" Nodding, he and Ziggy touched fingertips, a light coming around them as soon there was just a solid Zaine standing in the clearing. "I will, Dusk. But know...If he does get his voice back, it won't be overnight." She nodded and soon was hugging the man. "Let's go...We're wasting time." Another nod and the two were gone, leaving Kai in charge of getting Ali and James home.
((....that turned out to be a LOT longer than I intended....XD))

Kyoshi watched as Dusk, Talon and Ziggy left. Gambler watched to and looked up at the ceiling, mentally telling God to watch over them or else. Kyoshi then had his spidey senses tingling when Gambler started to talk again. He looked over at the others who were treating Kalore and glowered at them. "What's wrong Kyoshi?" His friend asked. "Something tells me that someone or someone's are talking about me. And not in a good way." He grumbled. Gambler rolled her eyes. "I think your becoming senile Kyoshi." Kyoshi glared at Gambler. "You shouldn't talk old hag." Gambler blinked up at Kyoshi and almost pouted. Almost. Had this been a different time then she would have but this was a serious situation so she didn't dare it. "I can't believe you would call me that. My heart is breaking. Do you hear it?" She touched her hand over her heart.
Kyoshi rolled his eyes. "So you think you can do something?" He asked seriously. Gambler shrugged. "I would, especially since he is part of my group but....You do know that I can't do anything without special permission by them to do anything. This isn't my city and I'm not going to do anything. Then again...." She could always ask and have Monty do it since it was his job and because he was glaring a hole into the door.
The Twins didn't move because Monty motioned for them to stay put. He was the medical kit for Eldin. If Eldin didn't like it then he had other ways to make him like it.

Groaning, Eldin was sitting on the bed, massaging his leg and getting out anything that he found. "Stupid supposed to be dead prince..." Muttering that, he continued to work on his leg and neck as much as he could. But without his medical kit, there wasn't much that he could do.
Zaine was the one that walked in, not bother to knock or anything as he sighed, "Well....Blondie looks like hell..." Kyin looked up in shock, "Welcome back..." Nodding to him, the man knelt down and shook his head, "He really got messed up this time..." The men nodded and Zaine sighed as he went to work.
Talon and Dusk entered the room, sighing. "Think he can?" "If he can't then Kal's screwed..."

Monty pressed his ear to the door, hearing the muffling voice of Eldin and making out the faint words. That raised his brow big time. He had Ivan and Hans listen so if he did hear something he didn't like then he was going to report it.
Gambler and Kyoshi stepped aside to watch the men work. Both were praying to their God and to the elves Goddess to heal him fully. Gambler wanted to see Kalore be this hyper blonde bombshell that everyone loved. She was half tempted to go back and beat the hell out of Lucien for doing this to Kalore. Kyoshi closed his eyes, praying to everyone he could think of to help Kalore pull through. He didn't know the guy but he knew that he was a valuable person to Gambler not because he was in her group but because she liked him. She liked them all because they were family to her. "Now don't start fighting okay?" Kyoshi nodded absentmindedly. He didn't want to start any problem or have them because he was tired of them and he didn't have the energy to fight anyone other than Dusk and Maybe Gambler.

Muttering curses again, Eldin sighed. "May I please have my medical kit?" The pain in his voice wasn't fake. Lucien really had beat the hell out of him, claiming that it was to make things more believable, but Eldin knew that it was really because the man was a sadist. He couldn't wait until the man was dead.
"He'll pull through." Kyin nodded and looked at Joker, "Finish patching him up? I need to check something..." Standing up, the man had a hand on Zaine's shoulder as he walked off, "Thank you..." The man nodded but sighed, "Don't thank me yet...Kalore, can you say anything?" The blond's mouth opened again, but nothing but rasping breath came out. Spitting out a curse, the Dracokin growled but went back to work. Whatever curse or charm or poison had been put on Kalore wasn't going to come off easily. And Zaine was running out of ways to fix it.

Hans nodded and went to go and get it. The least they could do was play it off like nothing was wrong with them and Eldin even if nothing really was. They were just suspicious of him and even though they didn't know why, the authors do and it goes without saying that they have every reason to be suspicious. Hans opened the door and went in with Ivan looking in at them "Here you go brother. Sorry about that. That old man was trying to find it." He said with a light laugh and a small smile.
Monty stood behind the door, listening and waiting to hear any change in Eldin because he certain can.
Joker nodded and finished up his handy work. He had infused some fluids inside Kalore to keep his red and white blood cells producing and another type of fluids that could reconstruct and knit tissure and bone from within. Hopefully that would be enough as he wipped the sweat from his brow and backed away. "Don't move him too much or else his bones and tissue won't heal properly. We don't want him to become the next gumby." He said and walked away to get something to drink.

Zaine nodded, "He's not moving at all." Kalore's eyes opened and then shot wider when he saw Zaine. His mouth moved to speak, but nothing came out, "Damn...Yeah, it's me, Marcessa. You rest, okay?" Closing his mouth, he nodded and then shut his eyes. The pain was gone, but it was still horrible for the man. Sighing, the supposed to be dead man went back to work, but there was still no progress.
"Thanks Hans." Eldin smiled, but there was pain in his face. Taking the kit, he grabbed the anesthetic, working quickly on cleaning and numbing the pain. "So much better..." He was back to the way everyone knew him as, the innocent kid that did have a mouth at times but never used it. And also one of the only people who could tell the twins apart. "Thank you again. Hey...Is he okay?" The boy had heard Kalore being brought in, but had also heard a voice that he didn't recognize. "Is someone else here?" As he spoke, Eldin worked on his wounds.

Hans nodded. "They are all doing what they can for Kalore. Hopefully he recovers well. I would hate to lose a member of our group...yet again." He said, his face grim with the thoughts of everyone they lost already. "How are you doing Eldin?" He asked.
Joker drank his sixth glass of water and put it away. Gambler and Kyoshi walked in to get out of the way completely. They didn't want to be a bother to them at all. "We have to try and figure out who this guy is that brought Lucien back." "Why?" "Lucien doesn't care about life or death...It was like he gave us a warning about someone else who's really powerful but I'm not familiar with the things that go around here, you know? It's not like all the cities have their bad guys and we know who it is and where to find them and how to take them out. This is really hard. So....I'm out of options...For the first time." She said, getting a drink of water and sighed in contentment at the coolness of the liquid.

Rave glanced over at them and sighed, "Well...there are only two, Gambler. Marn was the only one other than Eldin who could have done this...There's only one other person. If Lucien dies and doesn't come back, it was Marn." But something told him that that wouldn't be the case.
Continuing to work on Kalore, Zaine was getting ticked. Nothing was working, and it was beginning to piss him off. "I don't get it..." Another try but nothing worked. "What the hell did that man do to you, Marcessa?!"
"I'll be fine, thank you." Smiling at him, Eldin continued to work on his legs, the wounds fading decently fast. Walking would still be painful, but there wasn't much else that he could do. Hissing slightly at the burn of the gauze, he sighed. "Eventually..."

Hans nodded. "Is there anything else you need Eldin? Perhaps something to drink?" He asked. He didn't want Eldin to be feeling like an outsider but if he was under suspicion, he would still treat him nicely, like a brother.
Gambler shrugged. "Well, I don't know who or what this Marn person looks like so......" She shrugged again. "Plus....I have a serious question that I would like you guys to consider since this isn't my city to do it." If it was, she would throw everyone out save for Monty, her, Joker and Eldin, the suspect. She just didn't want to believe it but she had to.
Joker and Kyoshi looked worriedly at Kalore. Monty looked over his shoulder and did the samething. He narrowed his eyes at the blonde elf and growled lowly. "You damned blonde heathen with pointy ears. You better recover of I'll really give you something to scream about." He grumbled and looked at the door that lead to Eldin's room.

Kalore's ear twitched as he heard Monty, a smirk on his lips as he turned his head. Looking at the red head, he moved his arm ever so slightly and flicked the man off. He knew he couldn't speak, but he did mouth out the words, "Let's see you try, b***h." Zaine noticed and had to smile. If Kalore knew what was going on, obviously he did, and was acting like this, then there was no way that everyone else could be so bland around him.
"Um...May I have a drink? The easiest thing that you can find will be fine, Hans." Smiling at him, Eldin hid the pain that was still in him. It was getting better, but it was taking some time. So far there was no way that anyone could suspect this boy. He was the adorable boy that people knew him as, and if you thought he was capable of this, you had no heart. Or you were Monty.

Monty raised a brow at Kalore. "The only b*tch here Kalore is you since your the one on your back. No recover so that I can break your skinny little a**." He growled, his eyes glowing red with promise. He might even burn the elf for getting fresh with him.
Hans smiled and nodded, walking out and closing the door. He motioned for Ivan to stand guard with Monty glaring daggers at Kalore, holding back the urge to break that elf but he had respect for that elf. Hans went to go and get some water for Eldin and returned with one from Gambler. Hans entered again and handed it to Eldin. "I hope it's cold enough." He said.

Smiling at him, Eldin took the water and sipped at it, "It's perfect, thank you Hans." Another smile and he placed the water on the bedside table, going back to work on his wounds. "Are you and the others okay?"
Something that seemed like a laugh came from him as he just flicked him off again. Zaine rolled his eyes but grinned. "You'll be fine...But Marcessa...I don't think you're gonna talk again..." Kalore nodded and mouthed, "I know."
