I put up with them through my middle school years. The whole time, I never chewed on any gum.

I still don't understand what's so appealing about gum. You have to throw it out afterwards! It's highly non-portable.

If I remembered right, they were still inside the gums so they had to cut it open to get them. I've once had braces during my middle school years, and I definitely don't want to experience it again....especially that bar they put on me.

I also had to get my wisdom teeth removed for that same reason. To not get braces again, I mean. Mine were also still under the gums! They were also called "impacted" wisdom teeth, which means they were trying to grow out at an angle that'd push at my molars.

That bar...was it like...a crank that was supposed to help widen your upper jaw? I had to get that at some point to get rid of my crossbite.

I swear, I'm going to get one of those diabeetus-esque things that requires daily self-stabbing (be honest! Injections mean getting stabbed!)...

I know that fear. *shivers* My dad's family line has diabetes so I gotta be careful myself. D:

I bet just looking at it is bad enough.

Yeah, I didn't really want to look at my hand either because I felt like staring at it would intensify the "stuck-in-skin" feeling. gonk

I don't remember if you were already here at the time, but I've talked about this before. It was the time a few years back that I had to stay in the hospital because I caught Dengue fever.

By the way, Evil, what brings you to Tumblr? surprised *just noticed you started following me*

Yep, that particular bar. I hated that thing. xp Aside from the cranking, I also hated it when food gets stuck up there. xp

Speaking of diabetes, my grandmother (when she was still alive) and my aunt both had diabetes and had to take the insulin shots. Though it feels like majority of my family (on my mom's side) has kidney problems. My grandma got to a point where she ended up having to do dialysis due to her kidneys failing. My mom, my aunt, two of my younger sisters all would get kidney stones. My grandad also had kidney problems. The last time I saw him alive, they were giving him dialysis. And my cousin had to get a kidney transplant.

One thing I don't like looking at is blood. The sight of it makes me feel a bit queasy. I don't even like looking at my own blood. XP I can handle seeing blood in live action movies to an extent.

I swear, the human body conspires against the brain to make it suffer.
...This brings up many thoughts of brain-related philosophy.

As for Tumblr, I had already signed up before in order to follow askkingdomhearts. Now I have returned so that I could actually view a Tales of Xillia skit faces gallery and the like. I don't expect to be doing much stuff of my own there, though.

Ah, what a fun day. Myself, my sister, and a friend were doing a drinking game (Non-alcoholic drinks if anyone's wondering. lol.) while playing Final Fantasy VII. Though we had to drink juices we didn't like. xd

Aside from the bad drinks part, that sounds awesome. What if you tried Moxie with that? It would let you acquire the taste.

Speaking of strange comestibles, I was at a party last night and ended up roasting many unusual things over a fire pit. It didn't end too well... Smoky bananas don't work very well. I also tried watermelon, apple, and cinnamon (I think) donut holes (you know, like Munchkins). All of them had this weird smoky flavor, so yeah.

Moxie? What's that? I just use one of those drink mixes that you put in water bottles and shake 'em up.

You have some moxie to say that you don't know about Moxie. wink Have at you.
In short, it's a soda with an unusual flavor. It apparently doesn't have much demand outside of New England.* It's an acquired taste, I'm told. I don't dislike it myself, but I wouldn't seek it out.

*New England? There are no English accents (except for this one guy I know), and it was used anyway.

Anyway, I'm off to ze college tomorrow, but I should still have time for this stuff. Oddly enough, my main concern is how annoying it's going to be to do all of the work and loans. Annoyance beats sheer fear, I suppose...

Ah. I've been mostly drinking juice, Kool-aid, or just water. Now and then I would have a soda.

I hope everything goes well for you at college. :3

Oho, perhaps you should get some Tang!

Anyway, I hope it will... But my days will be busy again. It's going to be hard adjusting from my 2-10 AM sleeping schedule!

Edit: Yeah, stuff seems okay so far.

Oh my goodness. I just realized that yesterday was Tales of Symphonia's 10th anniversary. The Japan release, that is. I can't help but feel like I should have done something special with this guild, but I've just been too tired with my home duties. sweatdrop

Do you guys think something should be done, though? I've been thinking of having just a general, no-pressure sharing thing running from now until July 13 of next year, which would be the NA release's 10th anniversary.

...but given this guild's activity track record, the efforts might be...well...fruitless. sweatdrop

Really? Whoa.

The guild does seem to be having a low amount of activity lately. Perhaps because of school and Labor Day?

Hmm... Perhaps a delayed one when people start shuffling back?

I'm certain majority of it may be due to school. For me, I just have my job. ninja Though the past few days have been pretty stressful due to some family drama, but everything had calmed down.

By the way... Xillia is still pretty awesome. *brags*
