"She's like my brother." No need to mention the name because him and Dhairiss, despite their clashing personalities, were quite close seeing as they had grown up together. That's how it went with elves though she has surmised. They were so far between each other in ages that they clung to those that they grew up then. For instance, Kelligrin was fourteen years older than her and she didn't know him as well as Dhairiss did either. "She thought more than once about going home...I don't think she knew what she was getting herself into when she said she'd come with me when I left this time." At least conversation as well as the new balance throwing but not badly motion made her focus. "I never suscribed to the sheltered theory...if anyone was sheltered I was sheltered. And I'm rarely home." Shifting lightly. "I wouldn't want her to come if she was uncomfortable with it but if she wanted to visit then she's welcome to. What are you worried about me being lonely?"

"Vulnerablitiy is all a matter of opinion." Snorting with a snicker mixed in and flexing his wings once more in restlessness. "Did you know that the dragons who live outside the city...are loyal to Lycear as well?" Quirking an eyebrow to the pirate...there were many connections that dragons had made and most didn't understand that. "Well fed and strong dragons that if they felt they needed to, would flank your armada and then you'd have to deal with two sides? I suppose that doesn't matter to you though, seeing as you won't be there."

"Now your learning. I win either way. if the pirate lords go down fighting, then the Sandseas belong to me as far as anyone that dares call themselves pirate on it. if they succeed, the Rider's owe me for letting them in on the action. So either way the only annoyances I have to worry about are on the Chimera and the Gale Claw."

"You've positioned the board nicely. But as you humans say...don't count your chickens before they hatch. You don't account for the little star-eyed ones. They have not graced this plane in over a millenia...and now they're back. I would hardly say that is something to sneeze at." Turning his back on the pirate and walking a few steps. "If you'll excuse me...I have some rats to flush from my caves...can't have them laying down and dying. They'll stink up the place." Thusly taking to the air and heading toward the nearest entrance to said caverns.

"Then I suppose you have your answer, don't you, Captain? Mayhaps it's time to eat crow and admit to said necromancer you need her help. Give her enough incentive and she'll do it."

"There was no way she could have, having never left my parents' side while she was growing up. She'd have her occasional bouts of being out in the Underdark or on the surface with your brother or mother but that was about it. At least from what I know." It was no secret that he'd been gone most of the time while his youngest sister was growing up. "I think she finally got tired of my mother keeping her from doing things. And you see what happened as soon as she left. My mother got on with her life and had another baby." Shaking his head with a chuckle. His mother...there really wasn't any other like her. "I'll be sure to mention the possibility then. She can make the decision based on that."

"I'd sooner spend my time in the Locker. the kind of prices that woman demands I am not going to meet so that I can get my first mate back. if I have to I'll just go to teach myself and shoot him and drag him out here if it comes to it. and don't think she won't look to price gouge me out of a ship or crew. that woman is more a pirate then she wants to think she is."

Back in his natural form he slipped under rocks adn into the caverns that laid beneath the sand, the steady sound of grains always slipping from the surface and moving about, little shafts of light from above from time to time. Any little critters quickly skittered before him as massive scaled paws fell on the limestone, claws making a noise in contact. He didn't plan on stalking quietly. It wasn't hard to find them either as he picked up their scent easily and continued through corridors. As he got closer he made more noise, delighting in the fact they the would probably start panicing as his black scaling meant he was all but invisible in the darkness.

"And I'm sure my mother is playing with your mother's baby." She'd given up being confrontational in favor of indulging the conversation so that she didn't listen to rain more than she did words. "Shyrae will always be more of one for home that abroad, but that's not a bad thing. Apparently my father thinks I spend too much time away from home." Waving a hand dismissively with a light sigh. "Just make sure she knows she's not obligated. She feels bad if she thinks I'm not happy without her around."

He'd have to be deaf, dumb, and stupid not to hear the noises that were echoing through the wide caverns. Whatever lived in these caves was now home. He could just hope that it wasn't looking for a evening meal or snack. Motioning to Richards to be quiet, he took a side cavern and continued on before pulling out the little invention Bellah had made and using it to light the stick of wood he'd picked up as a weapon. Holding it aloft, he could only make out the glowing eyes but a quick perusal told him he was dealing with a dragon. At the very least they were lucid creatures. "We apologize for trespassing, dragon."

"Then I suppose you've got a problem, don't you? And a possible solution. We'll see if it works." Perhaps he'd interfere a bit and ensure that it didn't. His goddess was big on justice after all. And besides, it might be fun. Disappearing, he went off to find Lynnie and plot.

"I guarantee they're both cooing and all other things over that kid. It's going to be as spoiled as Shy was." And that girl was spoiled. He agreed about his sister and found it kind of funny that he wasn't a home and hearth kind of elf himself. He preferred to keep moving, finding new things to discover and new places. He'd roost somewhere for as long as there were jobs or he felt like it and then move on. A drifter, the humans called him. The Death Whisperer others had named him. It was amusing. "You just don't visit often enough to keep them happy. I try to drop in between travels just to say hi and see how they're doing. It keeps Mom happy since she knows I'm safe and Dad gets news from other places. That always thrills him." Shaking his head and taking to lightly playing with her beads. "I wouldn't dream of it. Inthara's know obligation very well. I'll word it just so, don't worry. Anything you'd like to tell her?"

Richard did as he was told, and looked past the torch. oh just wonderful. not only was it a dragon, but it was a black dragon. three guess as to whom it might be. but he took a few steps back, judging distance. if it chose to snap and eat him, he'd be just out of range. and have a head start if it was going to use it's breath weapon.

He stood just outside the light of the torch so that it didn't bounce off his scales too much...he was having fun with ambiguity but at the same time could see the opportunity in letting them know exactly who he was. Amusement though as Robins tried to think of placating him in the old ways of respect. An audible draw in of breath, which meant black fire or a roar could come seconds later...but all the did was a gust of air that knocked them both back to the ground and the torch to go out. Oh he'd torment them just a little, thus a growl that echoed off the rock before one paw came down, big enough to cover both of them, followed by a prodding nose and hot breath. "Well well...don't you two smell familiar." Knowing that the lack of light would make them all the more hesitant and the like...oh the opportunity for manipulation was ripe.

"Being home for me is hard." That was all she would say to it. Home held memories that were less than pleasant after all. Things from being an infant and from being a young child, also from trials of learning to grow up different from her brothers, and from everyone else having to learn to adapt to her, learning the had ways for both parties when mistakes were made. At least her father didn't hate her anymore. "Tell her to send me a big box of scorpions...I have a few beds I'd like to put them in."

Oh..this was not good. Thobias covered his head as they were knocked down so that there would be no tender blows reaped upon his crown. He wasn't quite sure what was going to become of them but either this dragon was playing with them or he was just going to eat them later. "We're pirates on the sands. You might have caught our scent from the ships."

Rahsaveer appeared before the two elves down below and held up a hand. His energy would alert the blind one that he was present. "I have a favor to ask of the two of you. You might find it quite...intriguing."

He didn't quite understand that comment though he attributed it to the fact that being blind made her parents want to keep her home. It was the only explanation that made any sense at all. He laughed at her vindictive nature and couldn't help but press a brotherly kiss to her cheek. "She'll be most happy to oblige." His arms tightened instinctively around Savryn when the stranger showed up, relaxing only long enough to settle them both into sitting positions. "A favor? What do you want?"

"Something simple, fairly easy for two such as yourselves. There are two pirates who have wandered into dangerous territory with a dragon. They are below the sands as we speak. I would help them myself but I am not permitted to interfere. Will you assist instead? Lady Silverfeather D'vinn, your abilities would be most useful in this situation as I'm sure you well know. I'd be more than happy to assist you in your search in return. I am aware of the cards you hold and quite intrigued even if Hawk is not."

Squinting she pushed against him as he decided to do the brother annoying kiss on the cheek thing. That was just weird. "She'll get big ones too." Energy spike. That had her out of any relaxed demeanor and apparently there was something else to it because Kelligrin tensed as well, getting them both to sit up without being dumped from the hammock before a familiar voice sounded and made her ears twitch. Savryn snickered at his request. "Pirates? Do they ever not get into trouble." And she was inclined not to help...until he made his own knowledge public. "Glad to know someone is....you're the one that controls weather, yes? Stop that rain...and I'll find your pirates." Persuasion wasn't too hard in some moments.

"Done."

Kelligrin blinked as the sound of droplets didn't just taper but ceased altogether. These little beings were quite powerful, weren't they? He glanced down at her and up where the deck of the ship would be then just shook his head. Rahsaveer was gone...which didn't really surprise him all that much. Savryn should be able to locate them, right? Setting her on her feet and ensuring she was balanced, he quirked a brow though she couldn't see it. "How are we supposed to do this?"

She visibly relaxed as the sound from outside ceased altogether and she was granted reprieve from the constant on edge feeling she got. Pushing back her hood she took a breath and just took a moment to get her wits about her before she pulled her robe up over hear head, revealing her usual wear underneath, bracers, chains, and all. "Necromancy, dear Kelligrin. Necromancy. You find me a place to get down into those caves and I can handle finding them no matter how much of a maze the place may be. Should be easy enough to deciper them from any cave life."

He should have known the answer to that. Better yet, he should have known not to ask such a silly question. Nodding, he let her ready herself and he added a few more weapons to his arsenal as well then led her up on deck. If they were below the sand then the best way he knew how to do this was to start out above it and find a way in.

Rahsaveer greeted them at the docks and grinned. "I knew you'd help. Now, I'll get you down there then all you have to do is find them. When you've found them, I'll come to you and bring you back to safety as well." He muttered something and lifted his hands so that the sand began to shake and move and then it began draining as though a child had pulled the plug in the bathtub, a huge hole opening in the middle of the sand. He wasted no time, knowing the blind one wouldn't swim through it and shouldn't have to. Thus, they were lifted and moved easily enough, settled down inside the hole before it closed up above them. "Good luck."

"Simple enough." Though she was not happy when things started moving of her own accord and instinct made her grab Kelligrin for balance and hold tighter to him even more so as then there was no ground under her feet for a few moments. Chylithair was equally unhappy as he had followed, fluttering around with some fuss in the dark that was left behind as whatever passage they had used to get down here was closed. Not that she'd notice the light change but barely. A snap of her fingers brought a sickly green and blue flame to life in her hands, more for Chy and Kelligrin than herself, not knowing if he needed it or not. The familir weight settled on her shoulder and her ears twitched, trying to get her bearings.

Crouching down to the floor, she pressed one hand to the limestone and a pulse of green energy flared in almost tentacle like fashion before they snacked into the ground and she stood. "Keep sharp...more than enough unwelcome critters in here. This way." Tapping the metal toe of her boot against the rocks, hearing it ring out and then took to walking, though there was a percise manner to her footsteps and toes seemed to be ready to let her know if she was about to step someplace that was less than healthy. The occassional stop though to knock metal against limestone though.
