"Eldin's back?!" Dusk went into the other room and smiled, "Eldin!" Hugging him, she grinned, "You're okay...What about Kalore?" The boy looked sad, but secretly enjoyed having the princess this close to him. "Thank you, miss Dusk. But..." He sighed, once again bringing the tears to his eyes, "I don't think Sir Kalore will be okay..." "What?!" That was horrible.
Snickering, Lucien grinned, "Sorry, not going to happen...This man has messed up too many things, Gambler, Monty. Just go back to the Tower and save 'Ziggy' and 'Talon'. They won't survive the night if you don't...Kalore isn't going to last." Hearing his name, Kalore glared at Lucien. "I hope you die... I hope you die painfully along with that brat!"

Kyoshi was glad but he went to Lord Kyin and pulled him aside. "Forgive me but I need to tell you something. Gambler called me and she gave some disturbing information that I think you need to be aware of. And it's pretty important." He said, motioning with his head to the kitchen for more privacy.
Joker was smiling at Eldin but shook his head. "Gambler's not going to let Kalore die or anything like that. If she has to, they both will sacrifice their lives for him." He said and that made him sad. But that was how Gambler and Monty worked. That's how demons and angels worked.
The Twins were getting into a heated arguement. Hans couldn't believe what his brother was saying but Ivan told Hans to now really look at Eldin. There was something different about him that from before.
Gambler looked at Kalore with a raised brow. "Kalore. Calm down. We are going to get you out of here but there is no need to start cursing Eldin. He's safe. Okay?" She could understand Kalore not liking Eldin but this wasn't the time or place for it. Monty looked at Kalore and saw the seriousness in him. Then he felt a chill pass through him. He didn't want to think about it because he could be wrong. Gambler looked at Lucien. "I said, let the blonde elf go or else we are going to have some serious problems. I did bring my special wire that cut that head of yours so don't think I won't hesitate to do it. Don't worry about Talon and Ziggy. They are in good hands." But she too felt this chill pass through her and she was perplexed about it.

Kyin had his eye on Eldin, but nodded, "But I want to keep that boy in my sight." They moved to the kitchen, out of earshot of basically everyone, but the elder never had his eye off of Eldin. There were two stone masters that were elves, and Eldin just happened to be one of them. That put the older man at unease.
Sighing, Dusk nodded. "You rest, okay?" "Um...is Ziggy okay?" Blinking, Dusk nodded, "He'll be fine in time." Smiling at her, Eldin spoke, "Do you mind if I see him?" "Um...Talon's in there, so you're going to have to wait...But later. Get sleep now, okay?" Damn...But there won't be a later probably... "Yes, Miss Dusk."
"No! You don't unders-" Gritting his teeth in pain, Kalore's body dropped as his side and a part of his neck was hit. He wasn't dead, but in extreme pain. "Now now, Marcessa...They don't want to listen..." Lucien was grinning as he looked at Gambler, "My dear...As long as my partner is alive, I can just keep coming back. Death means nothing to me anymore." Glaring at him, Kalore's eyes held a fire that showed pure hate. "You and that brat...You're both gonna burn." Smirking, Lucien shrugged, "Probably. At least you and the other traitors will as well." Looking at the two, he had no weapons, but Lucien was a mage, and a damn good one at that. The man needed none.

Kyoshi didn't question and only relayed the information Gambler told him. He said it exactly as she said it. He looked at Eldin and then at the Twins and noticed that Ivan, he thought, was acting odd. Ivan was on edge and it was putting Hans on edge and eventually it was going to put him on edge because angels had this weird and stupid connection with each other. Only he wasn't close with the Twins like Gambler was. Ivan watched Eldin. He was definiately noticing a difference in him and it was setting off this alarm in his mind to prevent him from seeing anyone.
Gambler and Monty stepped back and she cursed at Lucien. "Who ever you partner is will really be learning how to kiss the a** of the devil when I'm done with him. Now let Kalore go or I'm going to resort to violence since talking is wasting time. I don't like to waste time, elf." She said, pointing her gun at his head and looking at him. Monty was ready to grab Kalore and head out.

Listening to what was being said, Kyin nodded, "I see...I'll have Rave watch the Venom boy and Master Talon...but I want you to watch the other boy... I feel that something is wrong..." He didn't know what it was, but there was that feeling. And the elf had been around long enough to know not to ignore those feelings.
"Eldin, you need to rest okay?" Sighing, the younger elf nodded, "Yes ma'am. Um, is there a room?" Kyin walked in, "There is a room on this floor." He didn't want Eldin near anyone else except for himself. "It's by my room so if there's any problem I can help." Giving the elf a smile, Kyin was a master of hiding his thoughts. Eldin smiled, "Thank you sir!" Bowing low, the boy sprinted off to the room.
Watching him, Dusk had to whisper, "For someone who looks like s**t...he can still run..." But then a look from Rave made her curious. "Something's up..." He didn't say anything to Dusk for a moment but walked over to the twins. "You're at unease...What's wrong?" That caught her attention and she looked at them. Dusk didn't know Ivan and Hans well enough to know when they were at ease or not, so she was just going by his words.
Golden eyes fluttered open as Ziggy's head contineud to throb, "Ow..." His partner looked up from his leaning position, "You awake man?" Ziggy nodded, "Yeah...Where am I?" "Lord Kyin's tower..." "What am I doing here?!" Looking a little nervous, Talon sighed and explained everything that had happened for the past two days. The blue haired man listened to this, shocked. "Damn...So it was him..." "You remember anything?" "I remember a few voices and then a lot of pain...It was reminding me of a reason to hate being a regenerator." Sighing, Talon shook his head, "But now he's got Kal." "...Damn..."
A look to the gun and then a look to Kalore, and Lucien was laughing. "Really? You'll do that to him?" Leaning close to her, he showed that he was beyond caring that she had a gun as the man had a grin on his face. "What if I told you who my partner was?" At that, Kalore looked up, thankful that Lucien had taken away the wind. "Take him...you've got ten minutes before it'll be permanent...and little Kalore will be dead...Just know that I've done all I was sent to do..." His message was telling them that Lucien wasn't the one that they needed to be afraid of.

Kyoshi nodded. This was all becoming odd but he knew not to question anything because if one person was on guard then he would follow suit.
Ivan looked at Dusk and then up. He leaned forward and told him all that happened in the hallway, especially what Eldin did to Marn. He was shaken up and didn't want to do anything to provoke him while there. He looked up nervously. Eldin set him off big time. Kyoshi came over and nodded to the Twins. "Make sure Eldin does go anywhere near Talon and Ziggy." He said in their language and switched to the one everyone knew. "That's an order." Both Twins nodded and went to where Eldin's room was and posted outside of the door. Kyoshi looked at them and prayed that Gambler returned soon.
Gambler raised a brow. Monty went to get Kalore and threw him over his shoulder, carrying him as if he weight nothing. "You know. I don't like you at all and when I see you again, I will cut your head off and instead of leaving it next to your body, I'm going to put it on a pole and parade it around for the whole world to see. I'll even make you look pretty too." Monty growled. "Adieu, Lucien. I hope we never see you again." She turned her back to Monty, still holding up her gun up at Lucien's face to keep him away from them. Monty grabbed her by the neck, walking around the elf and throwing her over his shoulder. She still pointed her gun. He then went through the hallway at a break neck speed, covered from head to toe and the two on his shoulders in his burning flames but his passangers weren't on fire. He let his flames go so hot that even before he touched the traps, they would melt so that he could pass without trouble. Gambler kept watch at his back, still holding her burning hot gun.

Teeth clenching at the heat, Kalore gripped at whatever it was that he was on as they went through what seemed like a hallway. His eyes were clenched shut as the pain from what was done to him attacked the elf again and again. If he wasn't treated soon, Kalore had a feeling that he wasn't going to make it.
Dusk's eyes were wide, "He...there's no way!" Looking around, Rave's eyes were caught by her own. "Eldin....He can do that?!" Sighing, the older man ran a hand through his now permanently messy hair. "Yes...and it's why we put him on lock down...Marn and him were the only ones that could control stone and work with resurrection...I didn't know he was capable of doing something like that..." "Then...it could still have been Marn? And he knew and just reacted? I'd do the same thing..." "As would I...And that's what I'm praying for, Cecilia..."

Gambler held Kalore's hand in a reassuring gesture but she knew alittle something about the healing arts and since she wasn't normally supposed to use it, she did anyways. She let some of it flow into Kalore's skin to enter his body. Maybe it would help but she didn't know much about elves and what they were capable of doing if they were doing bad to others. Monty ran through the place like a bullet train not stopping and when he reached outside, he let the fire on his body go out and just kept running back to the tower.
Kyoshi went to Joker and told his to go guard the door that Talon and Ziggy were in. "I suggest someone gets to those two and start healing them or something. Now would be a good idea if they are to survive." He said to the other and went to open the door, posting himself out there to wait for Gambler and Monty, if they returned with Kalore. Only if.

"Both men are healed fully, Kyoshi. The only thing now is the mental health of Ziggy..." Dusk sighed and stood up. "I'll be back." Running up the stairs, she left Rave to speak with the others as she nodded to Joker and passed him, entering Ziggy's room. As she left, Rave sighed. "Poor girl..."
A small peace found Kalore, but it wasn't enough. He needed to get serious help, but what was done was enough for him to at least open his eyes. Green eyes met hers as he spoke, his voice practically nonexistent, "What...what's going...going on?" The world was going in and out for him. If they didn't get him to Joker or someone, Kalore would be dead within the next five minutes.
Eldin was sitting on the bed, legs crossed, eyes shut, sitting in the standard meditation form. You there, boy? I'm here. A grin was seen in his mind. They suspect you, boy. I figured. Marn dead? Yeah. I can probably chock it up to being scared and seeing her with you as a traitor. They won't all believe me, but enough will. Good...Good.... And Marcessa? He'll live, probably...But he won't be able to say anything...not unless they fixed his voice already. And the boy smirked.

Gambler held Kalore's hand tightly against hers and used her healing to keep him up but she wasn't sure she was doing good. Monty ran as fast as the two light people on his shoulder's would allow him and spotted Kyoshi ahead of him. He barked at Kyoshi to open the door and to move aside. Kyoshi's eyes went wide and opened the door, going inside and yelling to make room for Kalore.
Joker looked up and knew that Dusk was in the room with Ziggy and Talon and went down to meet the new arrivals. Gambler let go of Kalore and was thrown back on her feet, meeting Monty's pace as he stopped and rested Kalore down gently. Gambler took his head and cradled him. "He needs to be healed ASAP! I don't know what's wrong but I tried the best I could....." She barked at everyone, blind to everyone around her. Joker came to his side. "I need someone who has knowledge in magic and what nots!" He barked. It was a group of barking people.

Ignoring everyone, Kyin stepped in the middle of the loud group, pushing aside everyone as he spoke gently, calmly, "Rave." Coming to his aide, the dark elf nodded, "It's poison..." Nodding, Kyin's hand glowed as he seemed to be able to do the same thing as Eldin when it came to healing. "If only we could trust that boy..." Sighing, Rave went to his mentor's room and grabbed antidotes and other things, bringing them back to him. "Here..." Kyin nodded and soon got to work. Joker was the only one who wasn't pushed aside save for Gambler because she seemed unmoving as she cradled Kalore's head.

Gambler stroked Kalore's head, watching for any sign of change but she looked up at Kyin. "Not you too." She whispered. First Kalore, then Lucien and now Kyin. What the hell was she missing? That strange coldness entered her and she just looked at Kalore, trying to make sure he doesn't freak or become afraid or something but she couldn't shake off that coldness. Joker looked at Kyin. "What sort of poison and I would like that we check him head to toe for anything else that might be either damaged or affected. If you can check inwardly then I'm going to check him physically."

Kalore whimpered as Kyin had to move him slightly, "There's broken ribs, his arms are fractured, bruised everywhere, more than likely internal bleeding, I'm sensing something inside of him, but I'm working on that now. Something's wrong with his vocal chords..." Looking at his grandchild, Kyin looked worried for the first time, "Kalore...I need you to speak. Say something... Anything." The blond's mouth opened, but nothing came out but rasped breath. "Dear Goddess...he's been turned mute..." But that fact couldn't be thought on long. Kalore was dying, and his life was more important than his voice. But he did think something, He's mute...What was Lucien wanting him to not say?!

Gambler kept stroking Kalore's forehead. "I don't know how many minutes passed from the time we got out to get to here but while your trying to save him, you have to prevent him from being muted....permanently." She said quietly. Joker muttered a bunch of curse words that he knew in a different languages has he got straight to work on the physically and internal problems in Kalore. With the lightest of touches, he moved quickly over Kalore's body barely even touching him but making sure that all his internal injuries with his professional touch.
Monty moved aside and walked outside, pissed and wanting to seriously kill that insolent elf Lucien with his bare hands. He wanted to do unimaginable things to him. As for that brat that Kalore was talking about....He was talking about Eldin. He was sure of it. He walked back in and went to the Twins. Both stood guard but he explained why he wanted to enter. Even though Ivan was on edge by Eldin he couldn't just let Monty in. Monty narrowed his eyes at them. Debating on whether or not he should break down the door to break Eldin.

Eldin's body froze as he heard Monty. That demon was one of the only people in the building that the elf truly feared. Kalore, Ziggy, Talon...Those were all people that he just didn't like. But the demon was the only one, other than Kyin, that the boy actually feared. There was no way that he could take it if he came in now.
Silvery green eyes locked with Gambler's as he spoke softly, "I will try, Lady Gambler...But it won't be easy..." Rave knelt down, helping. "I will work on the poison, sir." Nodding, Kyin sighed, "Then I will work on his voice..." It was the start of a long and painstaking process. He didn't think that Kalore would get it back, but he didn't know for sure.
