Ben makes his way back to his room long enough to grab the books he was using to study about eyes and heads out to the firepit. It was a place that was not in the direct sun, it wasn't often windy so he could simply relax and study and this is exactly what he did.

Blinking awake, Zac stretches, and unfurls on the bed. She felt much better today then she did the day before, her body finally getting some much needed rest. For a moment she laid awake in bed, wondering what she would do today. Everyone else seemed to be so preoccupied with each other that it was beginning to becoming overwhelming, and a little lonely, which was a little odd considering just how many people were around. She could understand the overwhelming part, but why lonely? She sighed not really wanting to think about it. Getting up from the bed, she put the covers back in place neatly before tossing off her shirt, and looking around Clever's room. From the looks of it the girl never really stayed in here...
I wonder what she does all night.
Shruging it off for another time she went into the bathroom and looked herself over in the mirror, and sighed as she roughed up her hair. Decent enough I guess. Well actually that was kind of a lie, according to some whispered rumors, she was an excellent product of good breed. She scoughed at the thought.
Damn bastards, what am I a horse?!
She figured that was probably the real problem, more often then not she felt like some prized horse to be oogled and passed about to the highest bidder. Maybe that's why she had started to walk and didn't stop until nearly four days later. All of this was really upsetting, so trying to get it out of her mind, she quickly turned on the shower and removed the rest of her clothes.
Hopping into the shower she washed all her cares away before stepping back out some time later and redressing. When she had finished making herself presentable, she walked out the room and locked the door behind her, heading downstairs she slipped her shoes back on and checked to see if anyone else was around.

Zac would find the place to be empty however, she could see the remnants of some syrup on the table and if she were to look in the kitchen, she would see it have been moved around. The bar had been cleaned as well. Someone had been here!

Walking over to the bar, Zac notices some syrup, and that the place looked a lot more clean then last night.
I wonder if Clever did this..?
But the syrup looked fresh, someone had definantly been in here this morning.
I guess I just missed them.
Walking into the kitchen, Zac decided to make herself something to eat. Looking in the fridge she saw some left over pancake batter, and hoped no one would miss it. Firing up the grill she fried herself about two and set them on the plate before cleaning up, and heading bak into the bar. Reaching for the remainder of the syrup she pour some on her pancakes and dug in, enjoying every bite.

Ben had been out working on the books for a few hours and decided it was high time he go in and get something to drink. He marked his spot in his book with the notepad he was writing on and then headed in to the tavern. Once there, he noticed a woman with some pancakes sitting at the bar. He laughed inwardly, if he had woken up a little later they would be doing the same thing. He smiles to the person and approaches her at a normal pace, book under his right arm.
Umm... hi there. Enjoying pancakes I see?
The man's voice was calm and slightly youthful in its form and he seemed to be not much more than 22-23 years old. He is slightly pale and not very athletic looking.

Zac turns around in her seat, her mouth so full of pancakes her cheeks buldged at the sides. Seeing the young man come towards her, her eyes grew in size from surprised realizing how she must look, and quickly swallowed her food, a large lump sliding down her throat as she did, as a sheepish looks comes over her face.
Uh..yes...there quite good.
Whipping her hands on some napkins Zac then puts out hers to shake the new comers.

(( Focus man! Focus! No seriously though, I need you to let me know if you are gonna take longer than 10 mins posting as I am at work and if nothing is happening I may leave this window minimized for hours on end you may be talking to an empty person! ))
Ben chuckles as he sees the woman swallowing her food as she seems to be enjoying them. He takes the offered hand and shakes it.
Heh, I though they were when I was eating them this morning too. A guest? Well..I suppose that we are all guests...ummm...hehe...but no, I'm Benjamim Austerre, I am the inkeep. But...uh...please just call me Ben. I'm sorry, must've missed you. Are you just passing through?
The man was slightly awkward in speaking but not in a way that was too noticeable, mostly it felt like he was still not certain how an inkeep might act.

Zac jumps up from her seat toppling it over and grabs Ben's hand with both of her, the excitment plain on her face.
Oooooh yooour Ben. Thank goodness. I thought I'd never see you, and I'd certainly hate to put Clever out of her room one more night. I mean goodness gracious where does that girl sleep...when does she sleep. Though that bed of her's is really quite comfortable...
Zac stops in mid-sentence realizing she's babbling and still holding onto Ben's hand. Dropping it abruptly she steps back and leans down to pick her chair back up nervously.
Oh I'm so sorry, where are my manners. I just got in two nights ago and since then I've been using Clever's room until I could talk to you about getting one of my own.
Righting her chair she just stares at Ben.

Admittedly, Ben found the girl's behavior rather strange, he had never found anyone so excited to see him except maybe Synge when he hadn't seen her in a few days. He was about to tell you to slow down as he hears you carrying on about Clever but it does strike a cord with him.
Yes, that's me. Sorry...I have been...well...busy lately...and uh...I also keep weird hours sometimes. Anyway...been sleeping in Clever's room? Hmm...I only met her twice so I don't know much about her. But she is on my staff as the cleaner and gets a room because of it. All rooms are the same though...
Ben lights a smoke and blows some of it of to the side as he half sits on the chair near you, trying not to blow smoke on your face.
Well, if you need a room, it works like this...I offer them for 50G per night and all rooms will be just like Clever's. If you want to look at long term deals, I offer weekly rooms at 300G. Does that sound like a deal?

Zac nods, and thinks this over, her business side starting to take over, her face becoming contemplative.
Hmm 300G for the week sounds like a good deal. Normally I'd try to haggle you down, but it's not like I can't afford it, and right now I don't really feel like putting my fathers training into practice.
She laughs good heartedly at this , and looks off behind Ben.
I'll take it, any room you've got. Do you take cash or can I pay with debit?

((*LOL* That time I was gone for a bit, sorry, I actually have to do some work sadly enough. Anyway, back to RP! ))
Ben seemed curious as to why this woman would want to haggle him down, if she had seen the rooms then surely she would think he is asking the very least one would expect to pay for such a room. He releases a sigh of relief in his mind that the woman wanted to pay him instead of work for him. The money from the Gaian Government would be a great help but not all the money.
Heh...well if you stayed up there, surely you won't argue with the price. I mean...the carpet up there alone is worth 50G a night just to sleep on it. But I still have about 10 rooms open on the first floor and 15 on the second floor, plenty of space. I can put you in room 8, just around the corner from Clever's room.
At the last part of your question, Ben seemed perplexed about the concept of debit. Such a thing was a foreign term in this place he thought. He certainly didn't have the means to use it.
Uh...we only take cash here...is that fine?
He took another puff off his smoke and then ashed as he waited for a response.

Zac heard Ben sigh and wondered why, but thought best not to ask. Perhaps she had put him off guard earlier, and well that was certainly understandable, she could be rather putting off.
Oh no it's not that Ben, I'm just..well my dad...he just believed no one should ever pay full price, except his customers.
She winked at him hoping he understood what she mean't.
And yes cash is fine. Good thing I got some when I went shopping the other day.
