She looked at Him. "I know there is a world beyond New York... Believe me.... I've been here and seen things. Both My mother, Grandparents and Uncle Erike have made sure that I know there is more to this world... Don't Doubt me...I'm stronger and smarter then I look... Make no mistake of that I've been working my a** off to try and make use of these abilities and embrace the vampiric side... Please I'm not stupid...you wouldnt believe it but I know and I've felt things that no normal child should. I knew when my father's head was severed from his body and I felt the blow that killed my mother. When They train...sometimes I can't breathe because of what they do to themselves. I know when They are in pain or are suffering because I feel it...I know no one can feel that back in New York..." She stopped looking at him. "...I've never told them and I've never complained...I've done all the training that has been asked of me. Please don't doubt me like they do."

Draeken walked in again and looked rather angry. "Sorry about that. The old fart thought that something huge and dangerous had come into existance on the other side of the planet. There was nothing of course. It was just a time abnormality that disappeared hours before we got there. Now, there was something you needed help with Ari?"

*Twi closed his eyes and shook his head* You're taking my words the wrong way Ari. I don't make my opinion because of your age. Axl here could use a chained weapon when he was just ten.... and at 13 he was showing unusual proficiency in pyrokinesis. Look at Than... he's a walking power house whether or not he can control all that excess energy. Your connections to your parents are completely different. I'm not underestimating you Ari... believe me when I say that. I'm sure you could take over New York single handedly if you were so inclined. But I know these people Aria. Some of these people have knowledge of magics and powers people would dream of. Some of these people are the ones your own parents fear and have been killed by. Unless you're so sure that in such a short time you've left your parents in the dust in terms of fighting, I really don't think you're quite ready to face beings like Mastema or Truinthil.

Aria opened her mouth to speak but D walked in she smiled and nodded. "Yea I kinda.... got a little burnt?" She turned and pulled the back of her shirt up, her entire back was black and charred badly. She looked at TJ and continued the conversation mentally "I never said I wanted to take them on. I know what capable of...I shouldn't but I do ...I Merly want help you find Kai and If we come across Them...then so be it. I'm not naive...I know what they can do to me and I know my limits but I can still fight. I'm not afraid..." She ended the conversation at that, any longer and Old D might pick up on it. She let her shirt drop and turned to her father. "Think you can fix it?"

Pretending to have not heard what she and TJ were talking about, he nodded. "Yeah I can fix that." If she wanted to talk about it she would or if TJ wanted him to know of it, he would tell. "It wont be too hard. How did you get it though?" Draeken asked as he moved over to his daughter and placed his hands very lightly against her burns, a light blue glow eminating from them.

Don't get into the more dangerous parts, your dad and I, along with everyone else can handle that part. *He spoke the next part for D's own information* Kai's been missing for quite some time, and Ceres has suddenly come back. It doesn't fit together for a good picture. We need to find Kai and fix this crap..... *He was making it very direct and understandably so*

Aria looked at him "A building was on fire and there was people inside...One of which on fire and grabbing me....yea...it was lovely" She said sarcastically "Stab wounds I can handle...It's just the burns that drive me insane." She smiled inocently but it faded when TJ kept talking. She clicked her tounge stud against her teeth again but didnt respond to him. Once D had finished healing she turned and hugged him "Thank You Daddy.."

"Youre welcome kid. Just try to be more careful when saving people next time okay?" Looking to TJ then he sighed. He had been hoping to come back and enjoy a nice chat with his daughter. It was obvious that that might not happen tonight. At least not for a while. "Kai is missing and Ceres is back huh? Sounds great. I agree though that she should be found. Where do you plan to start looking?"

Twi: I don't know. I have a hunch it may be where she used to be tormented. While I was..... "dead" I did have time as a ghost. I don't know exactly what made her do it, but Kai rebuilt the old temple where she used to train and the place she escaped from. I'll start looking there first, I guess. But I need to make sure Axl gets well before I can go do anything for someone else. Go ahead and take a break D, we don't need to start right away....

"Yes. That is true Ari, I wouldnt want people to take their sweet time. I also wouldnt want them to end up right alongside me or dead. Planning, while taking some time, is needed. At least some planning that is. Not so much that it will delay us heavily, but enough to be safe." He smiled at his daughters readiness, but frowned when he looked back at TJ. "I don need to rest. I can go as soon as you are ready to."

*Twi nodded as well* Point to you Ari. Time is off the essence. But if we went and failed we will have wasted more time that we would planning. *TJ nodded again at D* Thanks. I'll let you know as soon as I can. I at least need to wait till Axl's awake before I can leave him alone. I need to make sure he can defend himself. His wound isn't that bad and he should be up and around by tomorrow. Then I'll go see how much I can find out....

Aria nodded "What ever you decided...don't leave without me...I'm gonna go catch some Z's for at least a few hours if im lucky...Ma has no concept of time when she wants to train...Night Daddy" She hugged him and turned to TJ, shooting him a glance that clearly told him to be careful about what he'd share with D about their conversation earlier.Then she smiled "Night Uncle TJ..." Aria Turned and walked upstairs, a familiar Black cat sitting on the Arm of the couch, watched her go up but stayed downstairs to listen to D and TJ.

"Tomorrow does sound good. As for you Ari? I'll decide, along with your mother, if you get to go or not." Hugging Ari, he laughed. "Yes. Your mother does have an odd concept of time when training. She cant help it though. It's her way of life I expect."
Draeken turned his gaze back to TJ once Aria had gone to bed. "So. How do you plan to even get into this Temple place? To me it would make sense for it to be well guarded. But I do not know for certain."

*Aethi-Naeh bounded into the dojo panting and looked around frantically. Upon seeing Draeken, her eyes brightened.*
Oh hey there! Either of you two old people seen Aria? I hope she hasnt gone to bed or left this world already!
*Not even really paying attention to TJ, Aethi seemed to have her eyes and ears completely on Draeken. This couldnt have been more wrong. Before she had even begun asking after Aria she had sent an almost impossibly small and nearly undetectable line of telepathy to TJ.*
I may be able to help you in your upcoming ventures, if you are willing to take the help of a stranger.
