junior Today, I was with my girlfriend, thinking we were alone in the house. Her little brother found us having sex on the couch, took a pic and said, "You are now both my slaves." He ran upstairs and locked his bedroom door. FML

First dive into Monterey Bay was today.
Overall, it was a pretty good dive. Lots of sea stars, kelp, a few crabs and fish here and there. There were seals there too, but they didn't play with me; they played with other members of the group. I feel unloved. emo Oh well, maybe next dive.
I had issues with weight belts and neutral buoyancy at the very end of the dive, but we had to ascend anyway. However, that resulted in me ascending a bit to quickly. Not enough to cause serious problems, but a little faster than I'm comfortable with. I also got a cramp at the surface near the shore while practicing skills, that was fun. Fortunately I kept my cool, dropped the weight belt, and asked my buddy to deal with the cramp. Instructor didn't chastize me, though, he said it just happens. He recommends calf-muscle stretches and drinking a good amount of water before dives from now on to see if that helps.
Other than those problems, the underwater skills that we practiced I got down good. Next dive is in a week, hopefully things'll go a lot more smoothly. I need a nap after the dive, my calf is still feeling heat from the cramp, but it's better. My left arm also has a pulled muscle from all that swimming.
Don't get me wrong, though. During the majority of the time where I wasn't having problems, the dive was ********.
