Umi sighed, happy that Edward was okay.
Helix chewed the bread. He didn't look happy, but his face never really looked happy anyway. He patted Lan on the head absently.

Helix brushed the crumbs off his shirt. He was grateful he'd been given food, but he still didn't trust Alex. He eyes her up carefully, and spotted her purse. His eyes glinted.

Helix's smile faded. "Hmph. You think you're all that. Whatever." He turned away, cleaning one of his ears with his pinky, and blew his finger off. He felt deflated at having been shot down.
