Ms. Selina Kyle Rudy Jones How does everyone feel about the 11th Doctor? Annoying. Channeling other Doctors in a grating way. It doesn't help that little of the 11th Doctor is written well, so Matt Smith isn't exactly getting a lot of good material to work with. I'm hoping he'll regenerate soon and we can get a Doctor with eyebrows, and who perhaps isn't so hell-bent on his own awesome! zaniness!. If nothing else, less Ms. Pond, more Mr. Williams. Some more coherent plotting would also be appreciated. And lose the stupid bow tie. I personally think that they should have stayed with number 10. I'd hate for them to regenerate him again, as he really only has 2 left. sad I've only seen half an episode with Matt Smith's Doctor, but I kinda think they went in the wrong direction with this regeneration. I don't get any kind of Doctor vibe from him. I miss 9.

Matt Smith was much better than much of the material he got and the last 4 episodes of the season finally got a handle on how to properly portray him, in my opinion. The finale especially showed that the writers have a plan for what's going on, and it's a long-term plan that extends past just a single season. I got very VERY tired of David Tennant's "SAD SAD FACE" during the last few TV specials. It was time for him to go.

And if anyone is watching Supernatural this season, it has really gone downhill ever since Kripke stepped down and Sera Gamble took the reigns.

I'm hoping they'll get around his regeneration limitation by reusing old ones. Can I get a whoop whoop for Christopher Eccleston! He was too short lived, I want more of him. MORE! Otherwise I'm just going to bide my time until the next one around. I keep pushing myself to watch Matt Smith but I just don't like him. I don't hate him, but I always find myself getting bored. Suddenly cleaning looks like a good option, or doing laundry. It doesn't help that the episodes are just not well written. I can usually suspend my disbelief for the science because the story is good. Stone angels? Eh, it's a really cool idea. But man the closing episodes? "Saving the universe AGAIN and THIS is the best you people can do? It's just a bad. idea."
I'm not kidding about that bow tie though.
PS. I am also annoyed that they keep introducing the new actors as, "he'll be the youngest Doctor EVAR!" It's just weird. Next Doctor should be introduced as, "most stylish Doctor evar!"

Calling it now: The Social Network is movie of the year. Absolutely astounding. Honestly, the only movie I think that can give it a run for its money is Aronofsky's new one, The Black Swan.

I'm going to see it for the Aaron Sorkin script, it is a bonus to hear positive things.

I went to see it because I'd consider David Fincher the most talented filmmaker of this generation. The Aaron Sorkin script was just gravy.

Marksman Floyd Lawton I went to see it because I'd consider David Fincher the most talented filmmaker of this generation. The Aaron Sorkin script was just gravy. Trent Reznor did the music for the film as well.

Avengers: Earth's Mighties Heroes is shaping up to be pretty damn schway. Voice acting and animation are quality, whoever's voicing Iron Man does a spot on RDJ. And the fanbait they're throwing out in the cameos may be even more over the top than JLU. If they can manage the character depth, this will finally be a Marvel equal to the Timmverse.

Linda Lee Danvers Is that going to be on Toon Disney or what? And when does it debut? I've heard next to nothing about it. Yah, it's gonna be on Toon Disney (now Disney XD). Premieres October 20, but they've been doing one a day "minisodes" online, about 5-6 minutes each. Today was episode 14, so they've basically got a whole extra three full length episodes up which take place before the premiere. Still 6 more minisodes coming. Really good stuff. You can watch them all here: http://disney.go.com/xd/avengers/videos/Newest episode is at the top.
