Ever looked at Ares in confusion. What the hell was that look for? She couldn't read his mind, and she wouldn't want to. She'd get lost in there forever, and probably scared with all the war thoughts going on inside of there.

She turned her gaze to the demons and smiled softly. She crouched down in front of them and waggled her little finger at them like she would do with a little puppy.

"They're actually pretty cute! My mentor Hades has a bunch of demons around him so often, but they are big and ugly. Hell, most of them have multiple heads and grotesque wings. Their breath is horrible. But it looks like you take pretty good care of these little guys!"

In a flash of light they were immediately gone. By the time someone saw the light they would see nothing as the source. When they reappeared they were submerged in the depths of the lake, and immediately he began oxygenating the water to make it breathable. The depths were quite intimidating, but yet serene. Out of the corner of his eye Musica saw part of what looked like a human body. He looked up at Ari and turned around for her to grip onto his back. The quickest way to get down there would be for him to swim with a power boost from the lake. They really didn't have time to waste, they needed to find out what was down here.

Nessa nodded. "Ok!" she whispered. Closing her eyes, she imagined herself in the Headmistresses office. Teleporting was easier this time. The wetness left her feet, and instead, there was carpet. Opening her eyes, she fell to the window seat, and found a box just as the woman had said. She removed it, then ripped open the drawer, and let the little thing p***k her. She winced. Name please, it said. "Vanessa Angeline Carrylin Block?" The thing paused, then, a key fell out of a slot in the back, as promised. She grabbed it, and stumbled back to the case. She fumbled with the key but managed to get it in the case, allowing it to open. She quickly closed her eyes, and a brilliant flash of light lit her eyelids. She counted to fifteen, and opened them. There, nestled in the box, was a lance.

She grabbed it, and felt suddenly powerful. She also had the urge to chuck it at something... but she had to get back. This time, she barely had to think about teleporting and it was already happening. She landed in the water, and ran to the headmistress, the lance in her hand. "This thing is bitchin'!" she crowed, twirling it in an impressive display of dexterity. As an American, she could appreciate weapons. This was one badass weapon. "Does Ares need it?" she asked, kneeling down next to the woman, "How do we get it to him without Tweedle-Dumb seeing?"

Ari was surrounded by water. She treaded for a second before making her way to Musica. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders piggy-back style, and tapped him to let him know she was ready.

Nikolaus rolled his eyes and continued to ignore her. It was all a mere diversion, he knew that much. He was supposed to lose his concentration and they'd pull something out of no where and get him. Nikolaus Claude Brandt was not to fall for something such as that. The demons however were not amused. For one they weren't little, and second they were far from cute. But they knew better, the Gods of Asgard prevented their little minds to be distracted and to keep them on task.

Arielle winced at the display. She knew very well what that lance could do--not that she'd seen it personally, but... well, that was a matter for another time. She hoped it wouldn't need to be tested anytime soon.

She shook her head at Vanessa. "We needn't get the lance to Ares." She wondered if what she wanted to do was right in doing. "Do not cross the barrier, but let it be known what you carry. If I tell you... If I tell you to, I want for you to get close enough and strike that--thing." She obviously did not care much for Nikolaus. "Do you understand? But only if I tell you; the moment that the lance meets his armor, both will break. I do not know exactly what will happen, I am afraid, but both will break. If this does not kill the demigod, it will at least weaken him." And perhaps, she hoped silently, Ares would be able to kill him.

She did not have high hopes, however.

Nessa nodded. "On you're signal then, Headmistress," she said, twirling the lance again. It was a beautiful weapon... and she had never thought of weapons as beautiful before. There was just something about it. She walked away from the lake, being sure to keep out of Nikolaus' range of vision, and close enough to see her Headmistress. The lance glinted in the sunlight as Vanessa watched the fight unfold.

Ares smirked. He didn't know the Headmistress' plan, nor would he pretend to. He just knew what that lance was--he may have no explicit powers over weapons, but as a god of war, he simply knew. In this way, he knew that the lance Nessa currently held was forged from a Godkiller Relic--which one and how were beyond him. But this lance, he knew, was special; he had strong feelings that this could even be the very lance from his story, the one he'd used to buy himself time.

If only it were a spear. He could manipulate spears.

"Looks to me like your gig's about up, Nikky-boy," Ares taunted, gesturing to Nessa. He wanted Nikolaus to know what was held, just across the barrier. He wanted the demigod to know that this playing field had just evened out. His threats were not empty.

Nessa stepped out from the cover of the trees, and gave the Lance another twirl, the metal flashing in the sun. "Boo ya," she said, flashing a smile at Nikolaus.

Nikolaus felt brave enough to quickly make a turn around and see behind him as to what Ares was indicating. It was a young girl he was unfamiliar with, holding a weapon of some sort. Was this that mythical weapon of Ares's story? Or was it all a ploy to try and scare him away? Nikolaus couldn't be sure, but the aura he sensed around the others was of a more confident emotion. He'd better watch his back, and his front. Quickly, he turned back around to face Ares and and sent a prayer to Odin to watch over him, which the Father God did. The whips remained at the ready, and Nikolaus remained fast as Light. That's something one must always remember, Light is the fastest thing in existence, no one could beat the Demigod of Light when it came to speed. Demons near Nikolaus stood at the ready to protect the Demigod they loved, willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.
