*Artix chripped happily as Zac took his wing, as she let it go he retracts it. Clever shrugged at the old fashioned statement, her mother was set in her ways and had very little to do with phones. Memories.
Clever then noticed the horrible puddles Keira was making on the floor, did she have no idead how bad water damaged unfinished wood. Oh well if she cleaned it up promptly it would probably be ok.
As Sen kissed her hand, she blushed a little. It was not everyday someone was such a gentleman.*
"My Mother said to send 'er regards, if I should run into you."
*Artix flapped his wings a bit peeved, reminding Clever that he was hungry*
"Oh keira do you 'ave any raw meat for Artix?"

Zac blinked in surprised and took another sip of her drink, glancing over her shoulder once to look at the bird.
Was he really? I never even noticed he'd come inside. I seem to be missing a lot of things lately.
Turning to look at Clever now she looked the girl over in a somewhat questioning manner.
Now that's interesting. We never had birds....for that purpose anyway. Dad always believed in having the latest everything.

"I'm sure will see 'er eventually. She really wants to talk to Aykon. Said she needed to apologize for something. It's kind of why I am 'ere. To talk to 'im firt.. she things 'e is mad at 'er."
*Clever shrugged, not entirely sure about her mother's affairs. Maybe the letter she had sent along with Artix would explain all of this, but she would have to wait til later.*
"I will be sure to let 'er know though."
*She sat down next to Zac at the bar and laughed.*
"My mom's a bit strange.
Oh did you get to talk to Ben today about a room? Did you sleep alright last night?"

Well he was dressed in all black. Hard to see wet I guess? Heh.
*Keira then turns her attention towards Clever and she smiles*
Hmm, let me go check...
*Keira vanishes into the kitchen and returns minutes later with a small plate of raw meat a bit chopped up so that the brd didn't have to waste it's time pulling it apart*
There we are.
*Keira sets the plate down on the bar and waits for the bird to eat. She yawns a bit and looks upstairs. It was her bed time for sure*
Well everyone. I must take my leave. Sleep calls!
*She smiles at everyone and walks over to the stairs sipping off her shoes*
Oh and sorry about the wet floor clever. I did the best I could to dry off fast enough! Night!
*With that said, keira vanishes upstairs into her room, changes and falls fast asleep*

Laughing along with Clever at her comment about her mom Zac takes another sip of her drink and feels herself relaxing even more.
Heh, well I think my dad's pretty strange and so do a lot of other people. I guess that's parents for you.
However, the more she thought about her dad the sadder she got, and immediately let out a soft sigh as she set her glass away from her, but before she could get to down Clever asked her about Ben and the room.
Nope I never got to talk to him, but the room was great. Slept like a baby. I can sleep out here for tonight though. I wouldn't want to put you out of your room yet again.
As Keira takes her leave she waves goodnight.

~Sen waves goodbye to Keira as she runs up the stairs, covering his mouth in a yawn, realizing that he, himself is getting rather tired.~

*As Keira set out the plate Artix gourged himself happily, with the pieces cut small it was easy for him to finish the plate within mintues. Clever ran her hand along his back, and gave him a scratch behind the wing.*
"Yeah parents can be very strange.
And you can borrow my room again, no worries. I just need to grab my bag."
*If Zac had looked around the room the night before she would have noticed that it was spotless, and hardly looked lived in. The only thing in the room at the moment was Clever's bag that she had brought her things in. Not allowing Zac anytime to protest about the room she stood up and took the plate in the kitchen and returned.*
"Is it unlocked?"

"I wish I had more energy with me so I could stay and get to know the both of you more... but I must retire for the evening. I hope to see you both again very soon."
~He says as he makes his way to the service entrance of the bar, lifting the counter door once again as he exits. He bows towards the two, smiling softly. He then turns on his heel and heads upstairs to his room. A soft click is heard as his door closes.~

Goodnight Sen, take care. she said as she waved him off.
No I locked it this morning, but you come get it now. I think I'm going to head to bed myself.
Finishing off her drink, she lets out a belch, and quickly excuses herself as she makes her way to the stairs after Sen. With all of these people around it was going to be an interesting stay. Stopping at the stairs she takes off her shoes, and goes ahead of Clever to unlock the room.

"Alright"
*Clever slips her shoes off and follows Zac, leaving Artix perched on the bar. After the door is unlocked she grabs her pack and returns to the hall.*
"Night Zac. Sleep well."
*Clever would await her response, then head back downstairs, slip on her shoes, and mop up all the water Keira had left on the floor. Once the floor was complete she would do the dishes. Then with a small yawn, take Artix and head out into the night.*

Zac watches as Clever heads back downstairs before shutting the door and locking it. Quickly getting undressed she slides into bed and immediately falls asleep.

After the most perfect night with Synge, Ben wakes up. He still felt happy and satisfied from the night prior. His body almost didn't want to rise but he felt himself coming out of drowsiness. He saw the perfectly peaceful face of Synge but knew she wouldn't be waking up soon.
Quietly, he moved out from the covers and headed to the bathroom. Stripping down, he moved into the shower and took a long warm shower. His face was a blissful smile as he felt the warmth of the water, it almost reminded him of the warmth in his life. He lazed around in the shower for a good long time, mostly just feeling the warmth but cleaning up too. He finally left the shower, changed and finished cleaning himself up. Looking at this outfit in the mirror, he almost wanted to wear the outfit he had worn previously but seeing it crumpled on the ground, he knew this wouldn't be a clean look.
He stretched and made his way down the hall and looked at the empty tavern. At first he felt worried that it would be this way but then he looked around and noticed everywhere the signs of life. He could almost FEEL the place had life the night prior. Shocked, he saw that the bar had been reorganized and even found an empty glass on the bar counter. Had Sen even been here? It soon dawned on him that taverns tended to be more busy during the night when people were out of work. But his energy level was so low by that time usually that he rarely was here. He might need a night manager...but who?

Shrugging this off, he moved on to the kitchen area and found that the place was slightly dirty but not enough to be a concern. He opened the fridge and found his pancake batter still there. Smiling, he produces it and fires up the griddle. Soon he has some shiny pancakes to eat. He also noticed some leftover cooked bacon so he warmed it up.
Happily, he took his meal to the table and began eating. He felt at peace. The people around him seemed happy, he was madly in love and reaping the rewards, he had found peace in his finances and couldn't really determine anything that he felt was lacking. Aykon was right...it just took a while to feel that peace.
