Remus walked in shortly after. He was about to pass the training area, and he paused. A small mischeivious smile came over his face.
Why not? I haven't been able to practice for a while.
He back tracked a few paces and slowly entered the area. He looked around at all of them, including Lina. He slowly unsheathed his cane sword. "I need some practice, anyone interested?"

The others stopped rather amused as he walked inside, but the oppenent Lina was fighting was rather into their battle and so was she, so of course they didn't respond.
One elder who seemed to be the second in command of the group walked over to and bowed slightly, "As you can see, Lina can't fight you at the moment, but I'd be glad to." he said, grinning slightly as he held his sheathed katana in his hands.

Remus grinned. "The invitation was open to anyone. I thank you for accepting my challenge." Remus spun his blade an intricate pattern of slashes. His hair and clothing blew slightly from the breeze as the sword moved around him. He halted his movement with the tip pointed at his oppnent. "Now that I'm warmed up, we can really get going."

"Yeah, well we know how you to like to work together.." he replied, smirking and unsheathing his sword, "Be warned that I've already warmed up and battle ready..." he said, his katana held slightly raised in from of him as he prepared a battle stance.

Remus nodded and attacked. He moved quickly, his sword moving to a reverse blade position. He slashed upwards, the tip scraping the floor as he attacked.

The vampire blocked, easily evading as he movedf sideways and attacked by sweeping his blade ina wide arc at Remus' side. A small crowd had developed between both fighting partners.
Half of the elders were now watching Lina, but the ones that were truly into the fight were the ones that were watching Remus. Even though he had earned their respect many times, there was always and underlying tension between them ever since he attacked one of their own. Lina of course told them what ha dhappened, but still...

Remus ducked to avoid the blade, and in the same motion, attempted a kick at his opponents legs. This allowed him to keep his sword free to either block or attack depending on what the elder did next.

He jumped high above him, pointing his katana pointed down as he plummeted towards Remus. He had to admit, the lycan was pretty talented and he could see why Lina was so smitten with him. He was precise and yet open minded enough to improvise when needed.
The others talked amongst themselves as they fought, each one marking the pros and cons of each fighter's style.

Remus played one of his most risky moves to date. He held the blade of his sword with both hands in front of him. He then rolled backwards, guiding his opponents blade over his head and causing it's point to drive into the floor directly above where he lay. Had he been off by only an inch or so the results could have been disastrous. He continued his roll, bringing his feet in contact with the vampires body, trying to use his feet to throw him behind Remus.

That was a surprise to say the least and the vampire new that he would barely have time to recover even if he somehow escaped... unless he released his grip on his sword, but that would only make him unamed. And that was something he wouldn't do. As the sword hit the ground, he jumped, kickig his feet towards Remus' own to lessen the effect. In doing so, he was forced forwards and while still holding the sword, the speed of the kick had yanked out tthe blade and let him fall to the ground a shorter distance.
There was comeplete silence, even for Lina's fight which had ended long ago after that. The only sound coming from the second-in-command's breathing, "That was excellent fighting," he said, holding his blade diagonally with both hands now, "But I won't be surprised twice."

Lyra Tyr The orb disappeared as Aurora looked back at Cloud, "I'll help you. Just so you know that I will be asking a favor for you soon..." and wtith that, Aurora raised her hands in the and stretched while calling out for Lotan, "Mental ability can't just be taught without have something to combine it with," She said after a while, "And physical strength is a perfect partner. Now if Lotan would just get here.." she said that last part extremely loud, her voice echoing around her, "This will begin immediately. And Seth said you wanted to almost be tortured by Lotan in trianing, so I'll just do the same to you." she smiled sweetly and folded her arms.
Lina smirked as she walked towards the rooms. She didn't feel like moving anywhere else and since they were already at the base....well, you get the idea. Looking and sounding sweet, Cloud responded with obvious sarcasm. "Aww, thank you." Chuckling lightly, Cloud got back to being serious. "It's a shame that the Leader specializing in speed is not present. However, being tauught by those who taught my enemies is enough for now."

I personally don't care about your past nor the ones you wish to kill. Just make it a could fight for me and I'll be happy." it was eerie how nice she sounded throughout that whole speech, but the Leader pulled it off pretty well.

Thus, I thought that if he thrives offf anger, I can conclude that any happy thoughts can weaken him." Chuckling nervously at the rate of his words and how off-subject they were, Cloud lowered his gaze. "Sorry, I'm erratic."
