If looked in on Sardin would be sprawled out across his bed the short way snoring loudly as what looked like smoke rolled out his nose and mouth. But it massed overhead thick despite the window being open. Suddenly lightning flashed in the thick overhead cloud and followed by thunder when it started raining on Sardin and all over the room.

Sardin smelt like booze like he had been out partying the night before and slept almost till noon the next day. Waking up he groaned and walked out his clothing looked to cling to himself as if they had been wet then got dried and stuck to him. his hair was a big mess looking like one of them wild haired troll dolls some people play with and his eyes looked bloodshot. He stopped and stared at everyone dumbfounded for a while.

Sodain went wide eyed at the ice cold water then ducked running dripping avoiding the warm water. "I was dry when I went to bed I don't why it looked like I got wet then dry unless it stormed last night when I had my window open" He said trying to run from the water jumping into the tub tossing his clothes into a hamper as he ran a shower. Then dried off walking out in clothing looking like what he wore but they was dry and clean not smelling bad either as he whistles softly and sat down.

"We go at sunset. The path we have to start traveling goes over the sunken desert. It will be hot enough to sap the strength out of us at the height we have to travel if we linger too long over it. Luckily Lyra and Hitana's flying horses can keep up fast enough we should not have any worries. But if we flew it in the daylight we would fall into the sunken desert and be swallowed up by the sand trap there.

We unfortunately will need to land near Trandlon to make camp though we have to be careful. They don't like many people let alone anyone with powers, Immortal, or part dragon. They are what is called a "Puritan" land only non magic people are welcome openly there." Sardin said gritting his teeth. "That is where the second barrier to the twin towers will open by 10 am. Then we land near the mountain ton of Dulock. We can get a camp permit from town. The barriers path is a test. If someone can sense it and follow it they will prove they have the potential to study there. Of course in a sense we will be cheating because I will be guiding you.

One who knows the entire cycle of the barriers. Though there are some who can fly right through the barriers when they are closed. And before anyone asks it would take three months to get there on the ground. The landscape is near impossible to just do a cross country line to the place. Unless you can get a land skipper under your command to give you a ride. But I doubt you would want to ride on the back of a giant insect." Sardin said looking to the girls.

"So we have to follow the barriers. They rotate in a large circle. and there are 4 barriers we have to go through. each rotating a different direction from the previous ring." Sardin said showing them a rough map of the areas they will be traveling.

Sardin looked to Hitana and smirked "Well if we did push through past Trandlon we would get lost likely thinking Trandlon was Dulock and if we landed there we could be killed on sight or worse be labeled as devils and burned at the stake or drowned in boil oil. The second ring would not be open for several hours." Sardin said and then using magic made 4 rings of lightning rotating differently with a gap in the rings.

"Okay see how these rotate and spin where the gaps are is the "safe" passage through the barrier. Where these gaps are is more like a moving pocket you get in the pocket of the spinning dome barrier you will not get lost but you must move with the barrier the solid outer ring doesn't move. so the way in depends on the direction you are traveling.

4 ways in and out of each ring. only there are two pockets on all rings except one. when a pocket meets an opening that is when you get into it. each pocket however is on a different access time but each ring that has two pockets if you miss one you have to wait 12 hours for the next pocked and it is between 4-6 hours from leaving one until the next opens. meaning you can never leave one and go right into the next rings pocket.

However there is one with an up and down ring that goes up from the ground over to into the ground that is the one with only 1 pocket and it spins at the same speed meaning the pocket opens only once every 24 hours. And forces everyone no matter the path they start at all end in the same spot. However the barriers openings that don't move overlap meaning there is no way to slip jumping a barrier pass and the last ring has only 2 non moving openings the one that moved up and over the ground going into the ground is designed to put everyone at the same opening to the 4th barrier and there is only one exit which is at the front gate of the twin towers.

However once your there your given a entry test. usually a riddle of some kind. And if you pass it you get a special pin that allows you to be unharmed going through the barriers. Unfortunately I lost mine so I have to get a new one. But still if you rode on my back as I shot through the barriers you would arrive there but your minds would be scramble for several years if it could be reversed. I seen the result and there is a mage there called babbling Barbra. her mind was fixed but when she talks its like for her to speak you need to take and group every third letter Hamejilpilewo is what comes out from her just saying hello. Which seems that still has not been fixed from last time I was there but that was 10 years ago." Sardin said explaining it with visuals

"So unless you want to end up like that we need to camp out waiting for the next pocket." Sardin said sighing then ate his lunch.

"Well first off once you get passed the test to get your safe passage pin. You will meet the Arch mage and grand magus of the towers and be given a tour, then you might be tested to see what you know, how you react to certain stimulus and find out your limits. That way a proper training routine can be devised for the best training methods for you two." Sardin said as he too packed his things. oddly there was no clothing in the hamper of the bathroom Sardin washed up in if anyone checked.

Once things was ready Sardin left picking up the meat package he ordered as well as plenty more jerky for the trip. This was packed in tin foil due to it being very spicy. So the spices did not cross mingle with other things.

Sardin looked to Hitana having some spiced jerky in his mouth as he let the others have the non spicy. Not wanting to draw attention by cooking. "Why you scared about being this close to a town who would rather torture and kill you then get to know you?" Sardin said knowing that would get the fire going in Hitana as he smirked watching to see what she would do. Not aware if anyone from the town would be near or not.

Sardin sighed a bit "If we had a fire there is a chance it would react to you Hitana blowing our cover. But as long as we stay on this side of the line of rocks even if someone from that town came to confront us they couldn't do anything as its the borderline of their land." Sardin said huffing watching Hitana.
