Jacob decided to leave the switches alon for now, he could tinker later. For now, all he needed was the trigger. He emerged from the cockpit and joined Joe in the search for the man, the device held firmly in his right hand.

Joe was growing worried. "Who does he keep vanishing like this?" Joe murmured. He was increasingly aware of how low the plane was dropping.
Marco shook his head. "Sorry. I don't go in for non-magical stuff. Does almost no good in my line of work."

Joe felt his foot go out and let off a shout to alert Jacob. As he went down, he gathered his mana, and when he hit the ground a scorching burst of fire flared out under the chairs. Joe was already in the process of healing and made sure that he moved right away.

he trailed off.
"Marco, do you have any ideas?"
((Interestingly, Paul is more patient than Fyrin. That's weird. Really weird. I guess Fyrin was trying something different.))

Robert informed him.
A half-minute later he had. He attached it to the Athena and looked back into the hole, sighted in carefully right between the CK's eyes, and fired a suppressed round.

Jacob hopped up on a seat to avoid being shot like Joe. He grabbed the headrest for balance and aimed the device at the chair that he assumed the man was under and pulled the trigger.

THUNK.
That's not a good sound for a bullet to make... The Clockwork Knight was bleeding slightly, and the plate was a bit dented where it had caught about three fourths of the bullet's impact.
--
The device made its telltale fwoop sound, but the man was unharmed as he scrambled under the chairs.

Whoopsie. Paul tried twice more; if that didn't finish the man, he immediately set off running for the nearest effective hiding place, a substantial field of scrub that came right up to the factory. It would make for a good hiding place until he could manage to get higher. He wasn't gonna drill again; he was gonna break in a window, that'd be simpler if more easily detected.

The man had brought his plated arms in front of his face; Paul didn't have a clear shot.

Jacob hopped over the chair and pursued the man, keeping the device aimed at him as he did so. He waited for an opening before he pulled the trigger again, "Get him, Joe!" Jacob called out.

Jacob's mark had doubled back somewhere along the way, but it was easy enough to track him by the passengers' reactions.
((Signin' off soon...))
((Joe: he's crawling under them.))

((Dun sigh off! gonk ))
Joe lept into the air (and stayed there), hovering over the seats. He waited a bit, then blasted straight down as the man came briefly into view. Joe aimed to break his spine.
