Kasiya waited for Mitsu to turn and look at her, then waved.

Mitsu turned around and saw Kasiya, but she walked off in the opposite direction. "I guess she'll be back soon."
"So Ren how long have you had that Dratini?" Ken asked.

This door better not be locked like the last one was, Nina thought. She reached for the handle and attempted to open the door. After a moment, it yielded, and Nina was able to enter, with Marill following at her feet and Misdreavus at her side.
The gym consisted more than anything else, of a giant swimming pool. Walking in a few steps and looking around, Nina noticed there were many seats, a lot of which were fashioned like a lifeguard's, and while most of them were empty, one was occupied by a girl.
"Hey, you!" The girl in the seat half-yelled. "Have you come to challenge me?" She jumped down from her seat and walked toward Nina. "Err, no," Nina replied. "I need to ask the gym leader something." The girl kind of shrugged with a smile. "You're looking at her. I'm Misty."
Misty was a fairly pretty girl, with orange hair tied into one pigtail and eyes that were a few shades lighter than the pool's water color. "So?" she said, looking at Nina and then Misdreavus and back again. "What is it you need?"
"Well," Nina began, "I need to know where--" Nina was interrupted by Misty squealing. "Oh my gosh, what Pokemon is that?!" She pointed to Marill with love in her eyes. "I've never seen one of those before!"
"Err, oh," Nina replied. "This is Marill. They're somewhat rare in the Johto region, and I guess from your reaction they don't live in Kanto at all..." Her voice trailed off as Marill tilted its head and looked at Misty.
"Rill," it said, as if it was in deep thought. Nina picked Marill up and said, "You may hold her, if you want." Misty smiled and accepted, and petted Marill very gently and kissed its nose a lot.
"So," Misty said in between admiration of Marill and glancing to Nina, "what did you say you needed?" Misdreavus floated to Nina's other side. "I was wondering if you could tell me where I could find a certain gym leader. Her name is Sabrina, and I really must speak with her."
Misty blinked. "Oh... erm... Sabrina..." She scratched Marill's ear and glanced aside uneasily. "She's quite a strange character... uhm. She's the gym leader of Saffron City, to the south. But the security is very tight as of lately and they're letting nobody in or out. Somebody even disabled the train in its gate."
Nina looked very annoyed. "It would have to be Saffron City... I've already had a run-in with the security in the southern-most gate near Vermillion City. I discovered an underground path and thought it may have led into the city, but instead led me here..." Her voice trailed off.
Misty, still scratching Marill's ear, looked at Nina. "Look. You didn't hear this from me, but there's another underground tunnel to the west of Lavender Town that can go to both Celadon City and Saffron City-- there will be a fork in the path, and left will bring you to Celadon and right to Saffron." Misty smiled a little as Nina repeated the bulk of what she had said. "Misty... thank you very much. I promise that I'll repay you someday." Misty handed Marill back to Nina and replied, "Look, you can repay me by bringing Marill back here sometime. Deal?" Misty stretched out her hand with a smile, and Nina shook it, smiling slightly too. "Deal."
"Oh. I forgot one more thing. To get to Lavender Town, you would normally have to go through a ridiculously long and dark tunnel, but since our train is working again, you can use that." Nina looked somewhat irritated. "If I'd have known there was a train in Cerulean too, I would have gone by that!" The two laughed, and bid eachother farewell, as Nina headed to the train gate.

((I've got to get the relics in here somehow. And I need a villian NPC to go with the relics story. I already know how the relics are going to first be introduced, but I need a villan NPC who's trying to do something evil with it. xp Got any ideas? PM me? sweatdrop ))

((We could use the ever-popular Giovanni's-bringing-Team-Rocket-back-together-except-really-stronger idea, and maybe he'll want the relics to help him gain power...? Or something. sweatdrop ))
