"But if he messes it up, Mommy'll have to do it now and when I wake up," Celebor pointed out logically. "'Sides, it don't look nice when it's messy."
And it didn't make him feel grown up when somebody did that to him. Really, he only liked it when Mommy or Lore did that to him, and Lore didn't do it very much.

Ulrich raised one eyebrow at Lore. "Who's Sasku?" he asked curiously.
He was very curious ... Lore seemed to have an odd reaction to the name.

"Hmm...." Lore murmured wondering if he should tell... probably not.
It was far too personal for Elnara he felt... even if the man was an idiot.
"He's someone Elnara knows...." he replied vaguely.

"He was nice," Celebor interrupted. "He bringed presents for me and Mommy all the time, but then he would always take Mommy away from me. And he always gived me presents that I couldn't share with Mommy, that candy stuff that tastes good but Mommy can't eat it. But he maked Mommy sad, so he's gone now, and I think that's good cos now Mommy's lots happier."
He giggled. "'Specially when Lore's around."

"Ah," Ulrich nodded. "Friend of the family, I suppose."
He smiled at Celebor, but his eyes were serious. He wasn't old, but he was old enough to know things. He could read between the lines - at least, he thought he could. Then again, he could just be jumping to conclusions.
"Doesn't sound very friendly, though," he added, shrugging. He wasn't looking for any elaboration, it seemed as though Lore didn't want to talk about it.
Ulani was intrigued by the "present" that Celebor had mentioned. "Candy that Elnara can't eat?" she questioned, looking to Lore for an answer.

"Uhm... chocolate," Lore explained to Ulani, "Celebor can eat it without it making him sick."
He didn't know how to response to Ulrich's comment about Sasku though. Lore didn't have a high opinion of Sasku, but he couldn't say much because it was... he thought a sensitive topic to Elnara.

Celebor grinned and nodded. "I like choc'late," he agreed. "Makes Mommy sick, so she always gave it to me. But she kept telling Sasku not to bring no more, cos she can't eat it and she said I had too much and it maked me too hyper and I never would go to sleep at night."
He giggled and fidgeted in his chair.

Ulani smiled down at Celebor. "Well if I had known that, I might have made some for you," she laughed. "Some to share with your brother and sisters."
Ulrich looked at Lore thoughtfully. There was definitely something more to all of it, but it seemed as though it wasn't his place to ask.
Instead, he changed the subject. "What about you?" he asked curiously, changing his position in his chair. "Can you have chocolate? Or is it poison to you as well?"

"I can...." Lore trailed off thoughtfully, "But I'm not so fond of sweets to be honest."
He hadn't given much thought to about his abiltiy to have chocolate, it wasn't really his most favourite flavour. He seemed to liek the old fashion sweets, when it came down to it.

An astonished expression came across Celebor's face, and he looked up at Ulani, amazed.
"You can make it?" he asked eagerly. "Wow!"
Just then, Elnara slipped into the kitchen silently and took her seat once more.

"Absolutely," Ulani grinned, winking at Celebor. She smiled at Elnara. "Any luck?" she asked, a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
Ulrich nodded at Lore. He understood. Ulani had a sweet tooth large enough for all the chocolate in the Westland, but Ulrich wasn't so big on them either.

Lore turned his head to see Elnara was back with them. He wondered how it went putting the children to bed. He hoped she did have some luck... unless she just let Storm do his own thing.

"Well," Elnara smiled, though she looked a bit tired (and hadn't when she had gone to put the children to bed), "Serenity, Skye and Idhril are all asleep ... Starr was singing to herself when I left her, but Storm ..."
She shrugged. "He's in bed, but I'm not sure if he'll sleep for a while. He's excited to be here, and I think that might keep him awake ..."
Not to mention he never liked going to bed in the first place.
"And there's also the fact that this will be his first time sleeping in a bed," she added thoughtfully. "Or without Starr, for that matter."

"And a bed does seem very large to someone of that size," Lore commented thoughtfully.
He hoped that maybe having Celebor and himself there later on will calm him down, if Storm didn't fall asleep by the time they got themselves into bed.

Ulrich nodded agreement. "I don't think I've ever seen anyone so tiny," he commented. "Even our children ... newborn, they're still almost twice their size."
Ulani looked at Elnara curiously. "Never slept in a bed?" she questioned.
