"It is a shame that you cannot write... I am very interested to know about your past; But my legs are killing me would you like to sit up where I was sitting?" Faccia said gestering to the small shed she dubbed her domain for reading and writing.

Kigaku laughed. "Wow, thats hilarious Miss. T!" He took the picture and put on top of his note book. "So will we be doing alchemy soon then? like maybe today?" He asked with curiosity.

"Yes but, you have to learn a little more stuff about alchemy then we could experiment with some alchemy" she said as she wrote on the board.

On the board it said:

Alchemy Types: There are many different types of Alchemy, depending largely on what you’re doing. But generally all Alchemy falls into two major types, Agitation and Transmutation. This describes how the alchemist is doing something, but not necessarily the end result.

Example: A Perfect Example of cross typed alchemy is Fire. One alchemist might simply excite the molecules to the point that they burst into flame, an example of Agitation. While another alchemist might create fire by transforming the surface of an object into (pardon the pun) Alchemists Fire, or a similar compound with ignites on contact with air (or even other chemicals created by the alchemist at the same time), an example of Transmutation. In both cases the alchemists are producing the same (or roughly the same) end result, they started a fire. The only real distinction is how they got there.

Most Alchemists, rather then try to classify everything by the method, tend to classify alchemy by a combination of Substance and End result. Thus even though both of the alchemists in the example above are performing totally different alchemies, they would both be filed under Fire Alchemy. Frequently, specific alchemies will fall under multiple categories. That said. Alchemy typically falls under the one of more of the following categories:

Thermal: This category represents Alchemies involving either the creation or absorption of Heat, AKA Fire and Ice

Electrical: There is a lot of debate over whether this is actually a category unto itself. Many consider it to simply be another form of Thermal

Animus: This is a category, pertains to the Transmutation or reanimation of organic materials. Practicing Animus on is traditionally a dark art, and is usually illegal.

Porous: Highly similar to Chemical, this category tends to involve the transmutation, and limited manipulation of liquids and gasses.

Chemical: This category pertains to the Transmutation and combination of various unstable chemicals, acids, bases, poisons, etc.

Terra: The category pertains to transmutation of stone.

Metallurgy: Pertains to the transmutation of Metals.



Skills Important in Alchemy: There is a verity of skills which alchemists utilize when performing Alchemy. Alchemic Heraldry is the most blatantly obvious, typically followed by the various skills which act as complementary skills. These are usually Science or knowledge skills, but for some things you might need Mechanics, Security systems, or even Weapon Smith. Remember, Knowledge: Common Molecular Compositions could be very useful for determining what base elements you need to avoid having Equal Exchange bite you in the a** (not to mention getting that nice skill bonus!). Another useful skill for Alchemists would be Analyze: Alchemic Heraldry, which would help them determine another alchemist’s capabilities. Because of all the frontloading in skills, it’s usually wise for Would-be Alchemists to invest in the Scholar and Scientist skill enhancers, as well as purchasing lots of 8 and 10 points skill levels.
Alchemy Mechanics

Mechanically, Alchemy is constructed as a Variable Power Pool. Because of the structured nature of the system this Pool is also very structured, and uses specific advantages and limitations to represent some of the Laws and Corollaries described above.

"Oh Fang, so much plight fills your life, I feel bad. Sorry I implored you to go through that again."Faccia said looking deeply into his eyes, "My past isn't filled with to much joy either." Faccia looked down at her hands, then stared up at the moon sighing deeply.

Kimu sat in the grass reading for quite a while, but after she had gone though her tenth chapter she slammed the novel shut. "Ah screw this." She said to Lucky with a big sigh. "I'm just not in a mood to read." The elf stuck the book back into her bag and then pulled a box of Pocky out. Lucky looked up at his owner and meowed. Kimu giggled and patted the small cat on the head. "I'm a hungry growing girl, Lucky! I need my junk food." The cat meowed again, if one listened closely it almost sounded like it had a teasing tone to it. Kimu looked down at her cat with her eyes narrowed. "You're snide comments are to human. The reason I read so many chapters is because I had to finish reading the chapters with the vampires in it of course! Jace and Clary went to the vampy head quarters in the city and got into a fight with them! Then werewolves showed up and started fighting with the vampys! I needed to finish those chapters before I stopped reading. You should know that I can't put down a book when there are vampires in it!" Lucky meowed and pawed at Kimu's leg. "Oh no it's not about vampires. It's about these super human like people." Kimu picked her cat up and showed him the cover of her book, The City of Bones. "There's only a small section with the vampys in it." She giggled and opened her Pocky box, stuffing one in her mouth the second it was open. "You know I'm starting to want my roommate to show up now. I really feel like talking to someone that actually replies." Lucky meowed again and swatted the elf's hand. "Pft. Sure you reply, but one, I only guess what you are saying and two, it looks like I'm talking to myself! That's no fun!" Kimu sighed and picked her black cat up. "You make me look like a crazy person."

"When I was a new born and my parents were taking me home from the hospital we were in a fatal car wreck, I was saved, they well... were not. when the authorities came they took me to an orphanage and gave me the locket my parents had planned to give me. I spent my child hood there and earned an education from the non-fictional section of the local library. I am now 19 and have finaly left that place to come here and pursuit my dream as a scholor, teacher, and writer." Faccia said laying out with her hands supporting her head.

"19, yes." Faccia said grinning at his guess of her superior age. Also surprised that they were the same age it felt weird now that she would have to teach a peer that was the same age of hers. "I'm not at all offended by your off guess of 24. It makes me happy that someone mistakes me for an elder... because of my knowledge. Now I just sound cocky. It is weird, no? That we are the same age. It is alright though." Faccia sat up and hugged her legs. "It got cold." She looked over at Fang and smiled.
